Link and Zelda held hands as they watched the world around them shatter, the darkness was consuming everything and the only reason that they even existed was because the demon king had decided that he would make them watch.

Zelda called out to the goddess and to her surprise she heard three voices answer her call for help.

She tightened her grip on Links's hand when the world around her began to shake as a wave of light seemed to fall from the heavens and crash into the darkness.

She closed her eyes so that the light didn't blind her, but when she opened them again, she found herself standing in a town that she had never seen before, but she wasn't alone.

All around her were people she knew that they were Humans because of their round ears, she was about to ask the closest one what was going on when she noticed the girl's frightened expression.

She looked up and found that the sky had turned red and blood began to rain from it, the blood flew into itself, and the blood moved as if it was struggling to take form.

She watched with horror as she watched the figure of what could only be called a sorcerer form out of the blood.

"Players!" the sorcerer's voice boomed all around the area.

"You will not be allowed to return home unless you defeat the one hundred floors!" the sorcerer said to all of the people around her, before what looked like a mirror materialized in front of her.

Zelda quickly took the mirror and found that the person that she saw reflected on it, wasn't her but someone else.

Then she nearly gasped when her body began to glow and the fact that she didn't recognize was replaced with her own.

She turned and found the familiar faces of the races that lived in her world amongst the crowd, but they weren't alone, the humans still outnumbered them but Zelda soon noticed something even more disturbing.

Some of the Humans were adults and young adults who didn't look well trained but could still defend themselves most were children and some had even broken down crying as they desperately called to their parents.

"Reach the top and you will earn your freedom!" the sorcerer announced before the world shook.

"What!" the sorcerer said before the walls around them shattered revealing the darkness that she had just escaped from.

"A challenge!" the sorcerer said before he began to laugh.

"Darkness, your weapon is the darkness!" the sorcerer's voice echoed through the world as the feeling of weightlessness seemed to take over.

Zelda reached for the closest thing to her and she found herself once again holding Link's hand once again.

Zelda and Link felt their bodies hit the ground beneath them, they somehow knew that wherever they were hadn't crashed, but something had forced them to stop falling.

They were forced to cover their ears when the roar of several massive beasts nearly left them dead.

they struggled to open their eyes and they could only watch in disbelief as several massive beings that towered over the mountain leaped from somewhere above them and into the world below.

Link and Zeld nearly fainted when the face of something horrifying made itself known to them, but their fear was soon replaced with confusion when they noticed the being's eyes.

the creature had bone-white skin and its six eyes were glowing red, but they carried so much sadness and regret that just looking into them made both Zelda and Link want to comfort it.

'Players, Humans my children.'

"Forgive me I failed to protect you, we will hold these evils back, and get stronger so that the day may come that you don't need to fear them anymore." the creature said to the humans around them before it shed several tears and joined in the battle.

Link, Zelda, and everyone else who had the courage to walk towards the edge of whatever they were on, once again lost their breaths when they saw that while the world beneath them was still covered in darkness, the sounds of battle and the flashes of explosions could still be seen.

Out of pure instinct, everyone held hands when they saw a massive dragonfly out of the darkness and into the sky, as it tried to tear another beast that was made of shadows and darkness of its neck.

they watched as the dragon's body began to glow before it covered itself in flames that grew brighter by the second.

the creature of shadow and darkness was soon forced to let go of the dragon but it dragged the dragon back into the darkness.

no one said anything as the darkness seemed to move as gargantuan beats fought each other beneath them.

Then with a roar from the world around them, the spell that had kept everyone silent was broken, as the creatures of this strange land that was the sorcerros kingdom or jail spilled into the world below.

Some flew while others ran up invisible roads that helped them reach the ground beneath them.

"Link." Zelda says to her hero.

She doesn't say anything else when she sees the look in his eyes, the war isn't over and from the looks of it, the goddesses brought help.
