Opposites cannot coexist together. That was the universal rule of every world.

But there were those who opposed that very idea. The absolute rule that made up the universe doesn't matter to these individuals. If they could be together, even if they are the total opposite, they would oppose even reality itself just for their happy ending.

Two entities of higher power descended from beyond to the two mortals whose status in life were like heaven and earth. Due to a chance encounter that resulted on the death of these two mortal individuals, these two entities whose desire to bond was stronger than their very nature itself possessed the two, hiding themselves from those who denied their connection and would do everything to separate them.

Both the world from beyond and the mortal world would soon be put into chaos as the two absolute opposites lived together as lovers without regards to the opinions of others.

This is the story of two beings that are absolute opposites to each other who loved each other, and the reaction of the whole world.

Wielder of Destruction
I told you! I told you to run away!

Why!? Why did you protect me! If you just run away, you will still be alive!

... Why did you have to die, Mukuro!

This is bad. I am surrounded by the Variant Beasts. There is no escape. I can't fight them as I am now!

I am bleeding all over. My hands are numb, and I can't feel my left arm. My legs felt so heavy, and I am out of breathe. Though even without that condition, I still won't be able to defeat these Variant Beasts. I'm just a weakling commoner who inherited the power of an inferior spirit.

But I don't feel scared. Rather, it felt like a clump of something is stuck within my throat. A muddy feeling clings to my heart, clenching them as my tears blurred my vision.

I know what I am feeling. I am frustrated. These monsters killed Mukuro!

They killed the only person I truly loved!

We might not be of the same origin. She is from a rich and famous family whose descended from a local deity, while my family were just poor commoners who inherited an inferior spirit's descendance. There is no way we are a match to each other. Our position is like heaven and earth!

But it doesn't matter. Since the day I met her, I fell in love at first sight!

I want to do everything to her! Even if she didn't reciprocate my feelings, I don't care!

Today is supposed to be a practical examination for the Variance Zones. As people who has awakened with powers, we are obligated to learn our responsibilities for the society. I might have a weak power, but that doesn't mean I am excluded to the hands-on experience.

Anyone can fight so long as they are taught properly. My power might be a weak wind manipulation, but it is enough to keep up with my stronger classmates.

But a Variance Break occured. I don't know how that happens, but Variant Beasts stronger than us came at us in waves. Miss Hanazono, our guiding teacher, has perished after holding off a Demon Class Variant Beast!

We ran away, and I made sure to keep close to Mukuro in case of something bad happening to her.

I might be scared, but more than that, I am afraid that Mukuro might die!

She is brave. An amazing girl who can confront those stronger than her. Instead of running away, she stood her ground and tries to buy us some time to flee.

When she knew that we can't outrun the monsters, she decided to stay behind. I can't let her die just like that!

So I also stopped. Even though Masayuki and Fuhito tries to pull me away, I refuse!

It doesn't matter if I die. I will sacrifice myself just for her!

That's how much I love her!

The class president, and Mukuro's peers were the worst. They didn't look back and simply ran away. Those scums! How dare you leave us when you also are descendants of the local deities!

I won't be like them! I know the class president is pining for Mukuro's attention, but if he is like this in a moment of crisis, then he doesn't deserve her at all!

My friends stayed behind for a moment, but later on ran away after they almost got killed. Me and Mukuro managed to hold these beasts back.

I think it takes a few minutes before we manage to kill most of them. It's all thanks to Mukuro of course. She has carried everything with her incredible powers to manipulate light, while I simply supported her on the sidelines. In fact, I think I haven't done anything at all!

But still, she noticed me. She even smiled at me! I think if we survive this, I might even have a chance to get closer to her!

But then, something terrible happened. She got wounded by a Demon Class Variant Beast. It is too much for us who were just students. We haven't mastered our inherited powers yet!

So I tried to let her run. I took the ferocious wolfish beast's attacks and paid the price. My whole body is wounded, but at least I managed to save her.

I think I told her to run at that time, but in the end she suddenly throw herself at me.

And now... this is the result... she is there lying on her own pool of blood...

Just because I am so weak!

I'm so stupid! I thought I am helping her, but instead I'm just holding her back!

What chance? It's my fault that she is now dead!

And these variant beasts are going to devour her, just like how they devoured our teacher and the other staffs!

I won't let them! Even if I can't kill them all, I'll take them along with me!

I'm sorry Mukuro!

I know I'm just a poor boy who fell in love with you hopelessly. I'm a useless trash who even caused your death because of my incompetence!

But, if I won't let you die alone in this place. I'll always protect you, even if I die!

Two incomprehensible entities fleeted through countless veils of realities. They passed through layers upon layers of dimensions, breaching through the barriers of countless planes of reality.

They were entities that had undefined features. One time they were humanoid, the other times they were a collection of shapes. Every instances and moments, their appearances changed from an outside perspective.

But they were opposites of each other. One of them was a dark, so dark that the color black wasn't accurate to define them. They were always chaotic, their shapes were irregular, their form a mismatch of incompatible things.

The other was an entity that was too orderly. With each moment, they changed into definite forms. A womanly figure, a neat arrangement of regular shapes, a series of numbers that made sense, and many things.

These entities were the total opposites of each other. If one was chaotic, the other was orderly. If one was a mismatched of incompatible things, the other was an orderly arrangement of thematic sceneries. The one symbolized a darkness so deep that even vantablack wasn't enough to define it, the other symbolized a light so bright that every stars in the universe were outshined.

But there was a constant to their clashing natures. What constitutes as their hand was connected to the other. Entwined regardless of their changing appearances.

A woman and a man. An animal and an insect. The heaven and the earth. Light and darkness. Order and chaos. Regardless of their form, they were connected together.

A cacophony of screams echoed throughout every realities. On one side, multiple realities explodes, while on the other side, voids turned into newborn realities.

A series of unknown somethings followed these two entities. They moved backwards, forwards, or sideways. Direction seemed meaningless as they existed through every facets of time.

The two bonded entities did an action that was equivalent to a glancing gesture, and then "dived", to the infinite worlds that were sprawled all over the multiple cosmos. Both of them totally vanished as they did so, and the unknown somethings paused momentarily.

Different realities stopped, and other moved so fast that they immediately ended, before they returned anew. There was chaos, and there was a cacophony of multiple protests and voices. All of them made an equivalent gesture of irritation.

It only took a single instant, before these unknown somethings "jumped", and then they vanished from these set of multiverses.

If someone managed to translate the not-noises that echoed across the cosmic horizons, they would simply understood something.

"We lost them" was the only words that they would understand.

The corpse of the two students of the Crescent Island Academy laid together. Holding their hands together. Around them we're the corpses of large wolf-like creatures, with one being so large and had a ferocious expression on it's dead face laid besides the two students.

Despite that, many more approached the corpses. Bipedal fish-like monsters with incredibly large teeth, humanoid creatures with the upper body of multiple centipedes, and many horrifying creatures got closer and closer. Their drools were obvious enough as they gazed at the bodies that will soon-to-be their feasts.

Though their glee was cut abruptly as something absurd happened. The whole world stopped in an instant as two something dropped from the beyond. It pierced the barrier of this reality, and then the skies, going straight to the body of the two students. The changes became instantly obvious.

The dead girl whose obsidian hair was black turned radiant gold, and the wounds that marred her body vanished as if it was an illusion. While the dead boy who had an average appearance also changed, his hair turned into that of an amethyst hue that had a hint of stars within it.

The two of them opened their eyes, looking at each other as their hands were clasped together. The girl's bright golden eyes was stuck on the boy's deep night orbs.

The world moved once more as they stood up, and suddenly they hugged each other. Regardless of the state of their torn uniforms, they simply got close to each other without embarrassments. Their only thought was to be as close to each other as they could be.

They stayed like that, absorbed on their own world. They didn't even care as the monsters around them got closer to them, unaware of the changes that took place.

One of the fish-like monsters opened their mouth wide, it's interior filled with hundreds of needle-like teeth. Then without hesitation, it closed it's teeth at the two lovers.

Though before it's teeth could touch the other, both of boy and girl glanced at the monster with their eyes glowing, and then the monster was suddenly gone. As if it was an illusion.

Though, even with the monster vanishing like a bubble, the two was awakened from their fervent stupor. They finally noticed that there were weird creatures that surrounded the two of them.

They couldn't understand whether they were dangerous or not, but their intents made them frown. They couldn't speak human language, but if someone could understand them they would know what they were thinking.

''No one is allowed to touch him/her!''

Their intent was so malicious, that the two was revolted. Not because they will touch them, but rather because they will touch their partner. They couldn't forgive that.

So the two stood up, one of their hands holding the other's, and then they did something.

With a simple gaze from the man, every monsters on his side was immediately obliterated. Their body suddenly turned into bloody chunks, which also turned into dusts, and those dusts turned into nothingness.

As for the girl, she swiped her hand and suddenly, every beings just vanished. Whisked away to who knows where.

As every monsters that threatened this region vanished without a trace, the two looked at each other once more. They just stayed like that, unperturbed at the silent atmosphere, and the bloody scenery of the monster corpses around them.

It took more than an hour before the sirens of emergency services and security forces resounded on the distance. That sound got closer until they arrived.

The responders, and the teachers of the Crescent Island Academy was surprised as they saw the remains of the wolfish variant beasts, and in the middle of it were the two lovers who simply gazed at each other as their hands were clasped together.

Hello, this is Levelgap, and welcome to my new story.

Actually, this story is something I published on ffnet as a story idea. It's a genre that I am actually not confident. The romance genre.

It's not really a romance, because I still put my signature when writing stories, which is putting incredibly OP characters and some sort of power system within it. Still, I did want to write romance, as it is one of my weakest point when writing.

Honestly, I forgot most of the things I planned on this story, but because the idea is so interesting to me in my mind, I decided to just write whatever and see where it goes.

Basically, don't expect something deep in this story. This is an experiment, and I haven't planned anything at all as I am writing this. I just followed the basic premise I wrote on the one I published on ffnet, and expanded on it with random terms that I throw just because I think it is cool.

I hope I can at least write this one until it got into a decent length. I can't guarantee I can finish this, but I will try.

Another thing, because I am writing this out of a whim and without plan at all, I won't be putting my Kofi page here. I think this is badly written, so I think I don't deserve to ask for donations for this one...

I hope you have fun though. I have fun writing this chapter, even if it is short!

Thank you for reading, and see you later everyone!~

Chapter 1: Problematic Start
An unprecedented event just happened. A sudden Variance Break occured during a normal class excursion by the Crescent Island Academy staffs.

A Variance Break was a term used when the inhabitants of the Variance Zone suddenly rampaged that they broke through their own world. Variance Zones were anomalous subspaces that formed through the solidified superstitious beliefs of humanity.

If a Variance Zone was formed, it was impossible to destroy. Unless someone had the power comparable to a Local Deity, they couldn't erase a Variance Zone. Humans could simply prevent the expansion of a Variance Zone through disproving the mystery that formed on that area.

Normally, Variance Break won't occur on a Variance Zone. Variance Break only happened when a creature within that subspace acquired immense powers through some means, either it's through faith or another source of power.

The Crescent Island was a city state that had been peaceful for a long time. It had three Variance Zones within it, and it hadn't experienced a Variance Break for thirty years. For a Variance Break to suddenly occur was a surprised to many, mostly to the fact that it happened on the forest backyard owned by the Crescent Island Academy.

One of their stronger teachers died as she tried to hold off three Demon Class Variant Beasts. Variant Beasts were the terms used on creatures within a Variant Zone, and they were ranked by seven classes. Demon Class was the third rank given to a Variant Beasts, and it meant that they had the power comparable to a Local Deity.

A Local Deity was a Divine Entity who held dominion over a region. Their strength depends on the region, but most of the time they had the power to wipe out a whole region of a country. That was the strength that a Demon Class could incur against humanity.

For Hanazono Ayane, an awakened individual who inherited the power of a Local Deity, to fight three at the same time and even slain two of them before she fell was a greater feat. The city mayor planned on giving the woman a ceremonial funeral as a respect for her sacrifices.

Though, that wasn't the most important part. What's the most baffling was what they saw when they arrived on the scene. Two students that the first years of Crescent Island Academy's students had abandoned were seen holding hands together, and the changes from them.

There was also the fact that a Demon Class Variant Beast laid dead besides them along with many corpses of Inferior Class Demon Beasts that littered the ground on the scene. That was a surprising scene to see for students who hadn't fully synchronized to their ancestry.

Though, maybe they did. Higashita Susumi could believe that. Almost anyone who had seen them could believe it.

They had undergone a second awakening. That was what most assumed.

Every people were descendants of god. It's just a matter of who they were descended with. While most people were mortals who had no powers, some had the potential to awaken their divine ancestry and acquire the powers that their ancestor had. They just had to undergo multiple awakenings.

The first awakening was the time they could use the basic capability of their ancestor. The second awakening was a special one, as that meant they fully synchronized with their ancestors and acquired their powers. It also meant that they would be considered proper Awakeners. This was the term used to the people who had awakened their divine ancestry.

Of course, only one out of ten million people could awaken for a second time. There were the rumors that people could awaken a third and a fourth time, but from the whole human history, people who achieved that were only those written on the history books that dated thousand years ago, or those who were only written on fairy tales, mythical legends, and epic tales.

So awakening for a second time was a big deal, and many people were in awe of the two. Though there was another problem.

The girl, Hayasaki Mukuro, was a part of the illustrious family of Hayasaki. The Hayasaki Family were descendants of Moonlight Celestial, which was a Local Deity of the Crescent Island.

Unlike the boy, Uehara Ayato, who was from a mortal family who simply inherited a nameless inferior spirit's ancestry.

That two was too incompatible to each other, and they were seen holding hands together and looking at each other fervently as if they were long time lovers.

Regardless if Ayato awakened his divine ancestry, he would simply awaken the ancestry of an inferior spirit. He was part of the common line of families, which were descendants or inheritors of spirits lower than the divines. The Hayasaki Family was obviously furious when they learned about this.

Another problem occured. The two young students couldn't be separated to each other. Despite attempts to do so, Ayato and Mukuro refused. Their hold on each other was impossibly tight, that people couldn't help but wonder what to do.

This was another thing that made the principal of the academy who was now looking at the two person of interest had a headache. These two couldn't be separated to each other. They refused to do so.

Higashita Susumi could only look at the two as they sat together on the sofa. They blankly stared at her, while they were still holding hands. It was a blatant display of affection to each other, that she felt somewhat envious. Of course, she hid that with a neutral expression as she wondered what to do with them.

She heard of cases like these. People who achieved a second awakening sometimes had their personalities changed. The widely accepted reason for that was because of their ancestry. If their ancestor was originally a tyrant god, then their personality would changed into be more aggressive. That was also the case for a gentle ancestor, their second awakening would most likely turn more gentle or soft spoken.

Though, she knew the local deities of Crescent Island, and she was sure that the Moonlight Celestial wasn't documented to be amenable to the opposite sex. In fact, romance wasn't part of their myth. Which made it more confusing.

Why does a descendant of the Moonlight Celestial so smitten to an inheritor of an inferior wind spirit?

She couldn't understand, but it was the only thing that could explain why they were so resistant whenever someone tried to separate them. This was the first time they saw this side effect from awakening their ancestry for the second time. They looked like they couldn't understand anything in this world.

As if these two were totally different people than the original!

'There are cases like that, but not when someone awakened for the second time. People specializing on exorcism already checked them, and other than the strong power they exude, they aren't possessed by evil spirits!'

There were Variant Beasts who could possess people, but most of the time they were evil spirits, and their exorcists could definitely notice if something was amiss with the two. They were given the clear, which meant no evil spirits were possessing them.

Which also meant that these were just the effects of the second awakening. They might have forgotten common sense, and might need reeducation. A first time for a second time Awakener, but it's not like everything was known on the supernatural scene. Anomalous researchers were still trying to understand the science behind the supernatural even to this day, so new discoveries shouldn't be that surprising.

"So... can you understand me?" She once again tried.

She heard that the others already tried talking to them, and they simply gazed at them blankly as if they were looking at air. It was a bit awkward for them, though it seemed like after a few troubling moments, they finally managed to convey enough that these two followed them until they got to the academy.

She could see the two just staring at her blankly. She already expected that. The first responders already told her as much. Though she was surprised at a new development.

"I can..." Mukuro spoke. Though her voice sounded so beautiful. Impossible beautiful that it could simply be considered divine.

Susumi's eyes became wide in shock. She felt her heart beat as she heard the words of the girl. Her voice felt like something hit deeper within her soul, and she couldn't understand why.

'What is happening!?' Susumi thought in wonder.

The other two simply stared at her. The way they gazed at her felt inhuman. It felt rather unnerving, but she decided to ignore that as the people outside already told her about their weird quirk.

"... Ahem, good. If you can understand me, can you please tell me the reason why you don't want to be separated to him?" That's the only thing she wanted to know.

Even lovers had the common sense not to be so clingy. They couldn't possibly stick together all day and night, was what she thought.

"He is mine, and I am his." The girl simply answered, as if the words she said was enough to answer everything.

Susumi blinked, and she took a moment to just stare at them as she tried to comprehend what she said, and whether she was serious at all. When she saw that the girl was just staring straight at her, she felt a bit embarrassed.

"... That... doesn't make sense. Even if you developed some feelings for him, you should know that your family will heavily opposed this decision--"

The two suddenly hugged each other, much to her surprised.

"He is mine, and I am his!"

"..." The boy simply grunted, and his voice felt so sexy she almost got swooned, though the way the two was now glaring at her also made her frozen on her seat. It felt like an invisible pressure suddenly settled on her whole body, and pressing her down.

She could hear a crack of glass somewhere, but when she looked around she couldn't see it. The windows behind her were fine, and the windows of the cabinet and her collection of glass cups were also fine. So she wondered what was it.

Regardless, she tried to calm them down. She doesn't know what was happening between the two, but she felt like something wrong would happen if she denied the two their relationship.

"I-it's not my intention to offend you two. I'm sorry..."

The strange stifling air around them suddenly relaxed, and she let out a breathe that she just realized that she had been holding for awhile now.

The two stared at her blankly once more, and she doesn't know what to do next with this.

'What is wrong with these two!? Why does it feel like separating the two of them will be a bad idea!?' She thought to herself, before she shook her head. 'But the Hayasaki Family was demanding Ms. Mukuro's presence as soon as possible. I'll be dead if I can't do it!'

Hayasaki Family was one of the twelve illustrious families of the Crescent Island. There was no way she could just casually deny those family. They were the pillars of this island.

"Uh, look. It's not like you will not see each other forever or something. You can still meet each other tomorrow... and I'm sure your parents are very worried about you..."

The two gazed blankly at her once more. Susumi didn't know whether they understood what she was saying or not.

"... Worried?" The man finally spoke, and his voice was so tantalizing to her ears. She wondered if it was the effect of his second awakening or something.

That boy gazed at his lover, and Mukuro gazed back. The two of them slowly looked fervently at each other, and the atmosphere was turning a bit hotter to the two. The principal frowned.

"Please!" She doesn't want to see something so sickly in front of her, and she also didn't want this to get longer so she clapped her hands together and clasped her fingers, doing a pleading gesture.

"... Only two of us are enough."

Susumi didn't know why Mukuro said that, but she felt like she had to say something.

"Your families are important too! It might bring trouble to the two of you if you decided to be stubborn!"

The two gazed at her once more, and she was feeling more unnerved as time passed.

"... Who are these families you kept talking about?" Mukuro's words caused her mind to stop, and slowly try to process what she said.

"... Eh? You didn't know?"

The two nodded, and she felt another headache hitting her.

My Lover, Apocalypse... or should I say, Uehara Ayato, gazed at me. He didn't want to leave me, just like I don't want to leave him. Those people from above might suddenly ambush one of us, and be separated for eternity. We don't want that.

Then he conveyed his worry about this mortal being's family. That is right. My lovely Ayato is so gentle. He sympathizes with everything. That's why I love you!

But I don't want him to leave me. The Dark Side might just take him back to his throne, and I don't want that!

Oh! I really like the way you hold my hands, My Ayato!~

What? We can't be detected because we're using mortal bodies? Is that so?

And you already tried to look into our surroundings? As expected of My Ayato!~

So these creatures are living on claustrophobic areas they called houses. I lived in a slightly bigger box than my lover. The distance between the original's resting spot is incredibly close.

So we are still close even if the small organic body we are using are far apart.

Okay, so we should blend in with these simple organisms? It will further help us at hiding from our deniers? Okay!

I'll do as you say, My Ayato!~

"Okay..." I answered the young native organism in front of our small organic body.

The young native organism explains to us who are these families they are talking about, and it seems like it refers to the originator of our organic bodies.

Their language is easier to learn. It just took awhile to pass the knowledge to My Ayato, though it's fine. Everything for My Ayato!~

The young native organism looks happy, and now the two of us are urged to stop holding hands.

It is a shame, and I can feel My Ayato holding onto my hand tightly, but he is the one who slowly slipped through our fingers with a heavy heart.

Don't worry, we're still connected both heart and mind! We just lack the physical contact, so please don't look so dejected!

Wait... I look sad? Well, sorry My Love! I also feel down not holding onto you properly...

Oh, we are holding hands together again! This is bliss!~

"Uhmm.... it will be problematic if your family saw you holding hands..." The young native organism said something.

But who cares? Can't you see we are trying to bond together!?

Ah, what is it My Ayato?

Oh, I see... okay...

He is the one who stop holding onto my hand before we pass through the plant-based construct they called the door. Then we see the other young native organisms looking at us.

So, are you really sure about this? Even if we are still so close to each other, I want to be more closer to you!

I see. We have to blend as much as we can. Okay My Love, I will do my best!~

We nodded to each other, and finally we reluctantly separated on our ways.

It's not like we are far away with each other. We are practically sticking together with our essences!

Even with our organic bodies separated, I can see My Ayato getting close to his organic body's originator. If my brief understanding of this world can be believed, I think they are what the people call as a female human.

Oh, I am also using an organic body that is considered a young female human. I still don't understand what's the difference between what they called as a male human and a female human, but I think I might understand it if I browsed through the collective knowledge of the intelligent race of this world.

For now, I should greet the originator of this body. They are considered old on the natives of this world, but they are still young native organisms to me. The female originator moved towards me through an action they called running, and then wrapped me with their two upper limbs.

It feels warm, and I like it. I think they call this hugging. I like hugging!

"Oh my sweet baby! Don't worry, Mama is here!" The young organic female originator kept saying as they kept moving their hand and pressing my head up and down. Wait, I think they call this as rubbing?

I don't know what to say. She is exhibiting an expression I haven't researched yet. The collective knowledge of the intelligent races here are so messy, that it's a bit hard to read specific things like the action this organic being is doing right now.

I look at the male originator getting closer to us. He is exhibiting what I considered a negative behavior. The way his optical organ is directed at my organic body felt like he is underestimating me. Is he trying to pressure me with something? I think people at the Dark Side loves that kind of thing?

"Mukuro. I heard what happened this afternoon. You should stop interacting with commoners! You are embarrassing our family!"

The female originator made a gesture that I think is called a gasp, though I don't care about that.

This young native organism... I hate it!

This is the first time I am writing a perspective that is alien compared to normal humans. I hope I managed to do it right...

Thank you for reading, and see you later next time!~

Chapter 2: How Dare You!?
Genesis... no, she is called Hayasaki Mukuro right now.

Mukuro is sitting together with the short lived creatures. They are inside a black weirdly shaped box. It must be their way of transport.

Very inefficient.

This short lived creature calls themselves my mother. This meant that this small creature is the original's relative.

The soul of this creature is close to the original's one.

"Look at you, your uniform is a mess! Don't worry, I'll take care of it quickly!" They pull me away to go to the small box I identify as the original's nest.

Ah... no, it's a house. Lady Mukuro said so.

"... There?" I got curious why were moving inefficiently, so I pointed to one of those mysteriously shaped objects.

"What is it?"

I want to know why we are moving inefficiently.

"Uh... right, they explained that a side effect occured when you awakened for the second time. Do you want to know what it is?"

Yes.

"It's called a car. Are you interested by it?" The one designated as Mother asks so. I did the universal action of affirmation they called as nodding. "Well... I am sorry, we don't have something like that. But I think with you awakening for the second time, you might be able to afford it in the future!" Why does this creature speak so softly?

Also, what does this being meant from that?

"Don't worry. I'll make sure to take care of you. Just ask anything you want and I will tell you."

Hm. This small creature is very... gentle. Right, this one is gentle to the original.

As she offered, I will ask anything I am curious about. I can't let Lady Mukuro be burdened by my lack of knowledge. I need to gather my own.

Reading the memories of every people here is easy, but I can't make sense of it without knowing their language. I need Lady Mukuro's help for interpretation.

Lady Mukuro is truly my fated one. She is so thoughtful of a brute like me. It's why I even decided to run away. I don't want those beings at the Light Side to put her back on the highest seat.

By the way Lady Mukuro, you seem mad, why is it?

Oh, that creature designated as Mukuro's Father is ordering you to stop interacting with me? Don't worry, we are still connected together!

But I suggest not being hasty enough to erase him. My lowers and your subordinates might still be lurking around. We can't afford to let them know we are here.

I take the time to expand my influence on this reality, and I can feel it is incredibly fragile. We should find out the average strength of the inhabitants of this area, and limit ourselves to that level to ensure that we are hidden by the prying eyes of those beings.

Yes, Dear Mukuro. You shouldn't care about the words of that creature. It might be their instinct to be overprotective to their organic kin. I look into the future, and I know we can still meet each other into this place they called school.

That's right, so please calm down. We are still connected and holding to each other. We must content ourselves with that.

"Ayato... what are you doing standing there? We're already at our house!"

"... Okay."

My dear Mukuro, we can speak more after our flesh bodies take a rest on our nest. So please find it in your heart to forgive this being designated as Mukuro's Father.

Yes, My Ayato. I will try...

"--hat you have awakened for the second time. Your future is so bright, now that you have fully awakened to our divine ancestry. So you shouldn't concern yourself with the useless plebeians. Forget about that commoner and listen to me. It's the only righ--"

I decided to selectively mute his words to my ears. Now this old man only looks like he is moving his mouth without reason. I chuckled within my spiritual self. Can't let my physical body to laugh. It might just ignite the temper of my "Father".

I am getting used to the garbled knowledge of the humans around here. Time scale, language, knowledge, and other things are being easily absorbed within my well of knowledge. I think it will take until tomorrow before I get used to it.

Of course, I am passing the knowledge to My Ayato, so both of us can act like we are natives. These native organisms... I meant, the humans of this world are relying on their ancestry with the higher natives of this reality. We should try and replicate that, I think?

But that will come tomorrow. We have this something called school, and people of the original body's age attend this school to learn. The school she is attending is called the Crescent Island Academy, the only academy catered for the humans who has managed to awaken their connection to their ancestors.

I'm sorry, Hayasaki Mukuro. Your soul has melded with my entire existence, so your divine ancestry also vanished along with it. Though it is fine. Your ancestry originated by the Light Side, so it's like taking a lesser part of me.

I'll make sure to use your body and make love with your lover. Love is truly amazing after all!~

Anyway, it seems like we arrived at home. My "Father" said something I don't hear as I still muted him to my ears, though I can read his lips somewhat so I generally know what he is saying.

Of course I don't care. No way I am ignoring My Ayato!

We spent all night just sharing our love to each other until morning comes. Along with that, I also slipped in snippets of the common knowledge of this world to him until he completely gets it.

As expected of My Ayato, he is a fast learner!

Well, this is just a lowering of our own comprehension, but it is still impressive. Making sense of this inefficient way of conveying meanings through vibrations is actually a novel idea. I learned a new thing again!

Of course sharing it with My Ayato is the best part. Anything I know, he should know too!~

Humans has a really limited knowledge bank. If they can surpass the limits of their flesh, I'm sure they will evolve into something acceptable to our ranks.

But it's not like we are going to do that. My dear lover specifically chose this place so we can hide from the eyes of those deniers. They always looked down on the lower lifeforms, and I can understand because their creation is incredibly inefficient, but we are using that arrogance to our advantage!

With just a bit of tampering with future events and other aspects of reality, it will take an extremely long time before they notice us. It's enough time for us to experience many honeymoons!~

I can only tamper with reality. My lovely Ayato took care of the incomprehensible stuffs. It's his specialty after all.

While we are having a really lovely chat, I am using half of my attention to control my human self. This possession stuff is still a bit new to me. It's the first time I possessed a lower, organic-based life form. Well, it's a first time for both of us.

With the knowledge that I accrued from the collective consciousness of humanity, I managed to learn the etiquettes used by higher born families. It seems like the Hayasaki Family is a part of this nobility thing they are going on.

It's like the hierarchy of absurdities and concepts in my seats. Very disgusting!

I am clothed in something they called as a night garment. It's something humans usually wore before they sleep. The one I am wearing is specifically catered to girls, and it's incredibly flowery if I may say so myself.

I'm learning a lot of things just by looking at the knowledge of this world. Many of these are lesser concepts on the Light Side, but it's fun to learn more about them.

Hayasaki Mukuro has people called servants. They can be compared to the lower strata subordinates of the Light Side. By the word itself, these people served their master. As they worked on the house of Hayasaki, they worked for my current family.

I have servants personally catering to my organic body... err, I mean me. I should really get used to not calling my physical body as the organic one. I find out that it felt denigrating and rude to the human species as a whole.

I also told My Ayato about this, and he quickly changed the way he referred to the humans. It's good. It's been a short time since we got to this place. We have a lot of time to get used to it.

Anyway, when I leave my room, the servants wearing those fluttery white and blue outfits quickly moved towards me and guided me to a series of rooms, where they catered to my appearance and cleanliness.

My Ayato is watching, and I don't mind. We are lovers after all!~

Though I can't understand why I have a strong urge to block his sight from seeing my naked physical body. I wonder why?

Well, it doesn't matter. My lovely Ayato is currently taking a bath. I actually don't mind seeing him not wearing those clothes, but I have this strong urge to block my own eyes. I wonder why?

Anyway, unlike myself who have servants, the body that my dear lover possessed seems to be poor. Poor seems to be a term used to people who are lower class on this society. They are specifically called commoners, which seems to indicate their status in this society.

It has something to do with their ancestry. Once again it resembles the hierarchy of the Light Side. Very disgusting!

As my dear lover is living in a humble family like that, he has no servants to cater to him. I would have asked my own servants to immediately take care of him, but I stopped myself after My Ayato reprimanded me for that.

Well, the Dark Side usually took care of themselves. That unrestrained freedom is something I sometimes envied to the Dark Side.

If he wants to take care of himself, then fine. But if we are together physically, I will spoil him a lot!~

Of course, he also told me that he will take care of me!~

How sweet!~

I wonder what will be our first honeymoon?

After a short bath, which is weirdly long based on the humans of this world, my next task is going to a room they call as the dining hall where my family is waiting. When I go there, I can see the varying expression of my family's faces.

"Father" is looking at me with a strict nod. My mother has her hands clasped together as she smiles at me. My older sister looks at me with her mouth slightly open, and my younger brother looks excited.

That should be the end of it. I read the knowledge about the present family of Hayasaki, and know that other than the relatives who lives somewhere, they are the ones who are staying within this estate.

So seeing an unfamiliar man makes me curious. It's a man wearing a soil-based object they called glasses, and a lighter shade of brown hair, if I recall my human biology right?

Who is this guy? I haven't completely reviewed the collective knowledge of humanity in this world, so I don't know who are currently alive in this world!

"Mukuro! I'm glad you are fine! I heard that you are in your house, so I immediately came here to apologize!"

Apologize? Why?

Dearie, why is he trying to apologize to me? Yes, please read his memory!

... Oh, so he is the one who abandoned the original Mukuro and Ayato... huh...

His name is... Shunsuke Hadou. He is from the Shunsuke Family, which is one of the twelve illustrious family of the Crescent Island.

I see, I read about the history of Crescent Island. So this person is a part of that family?

First of all, I should act politely. I think that's what people call for acting good in this world?

"It's fine." I think that is fine right?

"Mukuro, I know you can't forgive me because of... wait, really?" Why do you look surprised?

Is it because he feels guilty?

"Let us continue this on the meal. Come, let us sit." "Father" invited us to the chairs.

I decided to do so, and he followed suit after awhile.

"I heard that you abandoned my daughter. You know what that means, right?" My "father" says.

"Of course. Even if she can take care of herself, what I did stains the name of my family and betrays the trust your family has given to me. I am willing to give recompense to the broken trust that I caused."

"And what are you willing to do?"

"Of course. I'm willing to give you something precious to our Shunsuke Family. All I wanted is to mend the broken trust of your daughter."

"That's good enough!" My "Father" smiled, and I don't like the way he smiles as he turned to me. "What do you think, Mukuro? Your fiance is asking for forgiveness!"

Fiance? What does that mean?

Uhmm... Dearie? What is it? Do you know it? I haven't browsed the collective knowledge of humanity enough... I think I might have missed it!

Dearie? What's the problem? Why do you seem so mad?

I am done with sustenance my Mother called as breakfast, and has just left my small home to walk.

I am still having a good time just bonding spiritually with my partner when I heard that man designated as Mukuro's Father claim that young guy as my lover's fiance.

Lady Mukuro is busy sharing the knowledge she discovered to me, so she might not know, but with the added context of emotions and other knowledge humans have and reading their memories, I managed to learn what they meant from that.

That insignificant quark!

They dare claim my partner as theirs!?

How dare they!? I will erase them from existence!

These puny life forms daring to claim what is rightfully mine!?

She is mine! Just as I am hers! No one is allowed to break this bond!

... My lovely Mukuro? What is it? Why are you stopping me?

Ah... right, if I rampage here now, nothing will remain in this fragile reality.

I see. I understand.

I'm sorry for losing my patience. Thank you for comforting me.

Yes, as I am always yours, you will also be only mine. We are one and together. Regardless of our opposite nature, we will be always together for eternity.

Okay, my dear Mukuro. I will stop erasing this reality. Yes, you can trust me.

... Why are you giggling? Our roles were reversed?

Well, you are always the most impulsive one. But hearing some lower life form desiring you... I lose my calm there...

Thank you for calming me down. Your touch always calms my violence. You are truly my fated one, my dear Mukuro.

The world was unaware just how close they were from perishing into oblivion. The one who now acted as Mukuro blankly smiled as she ate together with her family, though she haven't answered her father's question.

Of course her father was mad, but held himself back as they have a guest. Though his sharp stare was directed at Mukuro who simply ignored that.

Nothing in this world mattered to her. Even as her mother and sister looked a bit uncomfortable, and that man who claimed to be her fiance was trying to get her attention, most of her focus was dedicated to calming down her lover, and at the same time mumbling sweet nothing to his ears.

In their true incomprehensible forms, she was doing the equivalent of giving a lap pillow to her eternal partner. Nothing else mattered to her other than that.

Even though I haven't planned anything at all when I wrote this, I am slowly forming a plan within my mind. One of those minds is them slowly acquiring human traits that wasn't so detached to their emotions and socialization to other people.

That's just a passing thought though, I am still thinking if I am going to incorporate that.

Hope you have fun!~
