Welcome to my first quest here on SV. You are playing as an Ork in Warhammer 40k. Specifically an Ork with a Gamer system, made Propa Orky by Gork and Mork after they looted it off some git who tried to "Fix the Galaxy". There will be rolls, done on a D100 mainly, with higher being better. The first part of this quest will be surviving and gathering a band of fellow Orks, and later parts will depend on your choices.

Starting World Type (Pick One)
[ ] Jungle World: Full of life, hot and humid, a paradise for the Snakebite Klan, this world has plenty of good fights around every corner, be they with fauna, flora, or other Orks. (+2 Green, +1 White, +1 Purple)

[ ] Mountain World: Towering peaks and deep valleys, this world is rich in resources for Meks to make things with. The beasts are also towering titans, packed with strength, and some older than parts of the ranges they wander. (+1 Green, +1 Black, +1 Blue, +1 Red)

[ ] Ocean World: Mostly water, with various islands scattered about, the seas are deep and treacherous, but untold treasures may lurk beneath the waves, guarded by tremendous creatures, large enough to swallow a Trukk whole. (+1 Green, +1 Blue, +1 Purple, +1 Yellow)

World Modifiers (Pick as many as you want)
[ ] Deathworld: Not just merely dangerous, the planet is a Deathworld, tough enough for even Orks to struggle with living on it. Adds 1 Black and 1 White to Starting Bonuses.

[ ] Imperium Presence: The Imperium of Man has at least one major outpost on this world, if not multiple. Adds 1 Blue and 1 Purple to Starting Bonuses.

[ ] War-Torn: Multiple interstellar factions are fighting on this planet, for one reason or another, including an Ork WAAAGH. Adds 1 Green and 1 Black to Starting Bonuses.

[ ] Write-In: Write in a world modifier, and I will put a set of stat boosts that fits it.

Which Klan you are (Pick One)
[ ] Bad Moons: The wealthiest and flashiest gits, with the best gear and the most teef, and a need for more of it. Add 2 Yellow to Level Bonuses and gain the Grinning Merchant Skill (Grow your teeth faster than other Orks, sell things for better prices, and buy things for cheaper).

[ ] Blood Axes: The most tactics-minded, but seen as Un-Orky by others for their use of Kommandos and strategy other than just rushing in at the foes. Add 2 Purple to Level Bonuses and gain the Camouflage Skill (Gain the ability to construct basic camouflage and simple traps if the materials are available).

[ ] Deathskulls: The loot-hungry, blue-clad scavengers, with a penchant for sticky fingers on other Ork's stuff. Add 2 Blue to Level Bonuses and the Happenstance Skill (If you would die from an attack or effect, roll a Variable DC Blue Check, and if you succeed, you do not die or have that effect apply).

[ ] Evil Sunz: The red-clad, fastest gits in the Ork Klans, but a need for speed drives their every move. Add 2 Red to Level Bonuses and gain the Speed Git Skill (If moving fast, enemies have to beat your Red score on a flat D100 roll to hit you).

[ ] Goffs: The biggest and meanest of the Ork Klans, with a love for melee combat, and the tendency to take harder hits than others while staying up. Add 2 Black to Level Bonuses and gain the Hard Git Skill (If you would die from an attack or effect, roll a Variable DC Black Check, and if you succeed, you stay alive, even if you shouldn't).

[ ] Snakebites: The beast-tamers, the most primitive of the Klans, they have a penchant for poison and using a good old Choppa to take down their foes. Add 2 White to Level Bonuses and gain the Choppin' Skill (If wielding an edged weapon, and get a crit or completely outclass an opponent in melee, you remove a limb or appendage in the area you are attacking, in addition to any other effects from a crit)

Oddboy Tendencies (Pick One)
[ ] None: You are not an Oddboy, just a regular Ork. Add 2 Green to Level Bonuses. Gain the Meaner and Greener Skill (Can command other Orks up to 2 times your Green Bonus).

[ ] Kommando: You have a tendency to sneak around, and fade into the background more than other orks when you want to. Add 2 Purple to Level Bonuses. Gain the Sneakin' Skill (Can hide in plain sight, if there are enough orks around, or become much harder to notice if behind cover).

[ ] Mek: You aren't a proper Mek, but you can fix up a broken Shoota or make a Stikkbomb out of some scrap and some gunpowder. Add 1 Red to Level Bonuses and the ability to progress down the Mek path. Gain the Fixin' Bits Skill (Can fix weapons and gear, and craft simple consumables if the necessary materials are avaliable).

[ ] Weirdboy: You can hear the beating drums of WAAAGH, the crackling promise of violence, and channel a bit of that power to minor effects. Add 1 Blue to Level Bonuses and the ability to directly wield WAAAGH energy. Gain the Channelin' Skill (Can use WAAAGH Energy to enhance the self and other Orks in the Command Group, at a risk of damage or death).

[ ] Dok: You can patch up a Boy who isn't dead or almost there, but not bring them back from that abyss. Add 1 White to Level Bonuses and the ability to progress down the Dok Path. Gain the Fixin' Boys Skill (Can heal other Orks with basic methods, along with make temporary enhancements that can be applied to the self or other Orks).

Awakening
The Yoof awoke within its pod. It pushed upwards with its back and legs, and burst out of the moist soil to the surface. After following its first instincts, it noticed a dark green rectangle with bright green glyphs on it in its field of view. When it looked at the glyphs, it heard a twin-toned, booming voice in its head. The thunderous voice spoke out "OI YA GIT. YOUZ A TEST OF DIS NEW FING DAT WE NICKED OFF SOME HUMIE GIT WHEN 'E TRIED TO FOIGHT US. MORK MADE IT PROPA ORKY WIF DA META-FIZIKS BITZ. IZ MADE DA FING WERK, BUT IT AIN'T ABLE TA ATTACH TO WUN OF OUR WARBOSSES DAT ARE ALREADY PROPA KILLY. SO YOU, A YOOF, GETS DIS SESTUM FINGY. AFTER WE BROKE DA HUMIE GIT'S POWER, DERE WERE A FEW SKRAPZ LEFT. I DID YA DA FAVER OV ATTACHIN EM TO YA, SO YOU DON'T GO AND KICK IT ROIGHT AWAY. ALL YA GOTTA DO IZ KRUMP GITZ, AND NOT GET KRUMPED IN RETURN. MORK SEYZ DAT 'EZ TOSSED SOME BITZ OF SKRAP AND GUBBINS NEAR YA. GO AND GET IT, IT'Z SUM GOOD BITZ. YER ALSO IN A WURLD FULL OF GOOD FOIGHTIN, SO GET OUT THERE AND KRUMP 'EM."

When the echoes within the Yoof's skull stopped bouncing, it looked around, the rectangle having disappeared. There were towering trees thick enough to be used as Stompa legs, and slithering vines twisting around the trunks. The Yoof saw a field of fungal caps around its feet, up to its thighs in some places, and movement amongst the mushrooms indicated that there were some other mobile things nearby. It carefully moved over to the disturbance, and saw a mottled red and green creature roughly the size of the Yoof's arm being torn apart by two other creatures, one with gray-green scales covering its body using its jaws to tear off flesh, the other with vicious claws ripping off an entire limb from the dead creature. The creatures didn't seem to notice the Yoof, so it backed off to look for something to hit the creatures with.

Over in the edges of the mushroom patch was a smoldering scar in the loam. The edges of the gash still crackled with sparks of emerald lightning emanating from a Choppa embedded in the dirt. The Choppa was about the length of the Yoof's arm, and was lined with mycelial threads of bright green and black over its dark green steel blade. The handle had a sturdy guard with four spikes for punching, and was made of the same material as the blade. The grip was a steady red with black stripes circling it. The Yoof felt, deep in its soul, that this weapon was one of the scraps that Gork mentioned that Mork had tossed out.

Reaching into the cut apart earth, the Yoof gripped the Choppa in its hand. As soon as the newly emerged Ork closed its fist around the grip, it felt a shock lance up its arm. The entire weapon shivered and shifted slightly, before it became perfectly fitted and balanced for the Yoof with a crackle of that same emerald lightning. The Yoof hefted the Choppa, and moved back over to the feasting creatures.

The two creatures were threatening each other with growls and hisses, and didn't notice the Yoof approaching them with its Choppa raised. The gray-green lizard had its head removed from its neck with a snicker-snack, and the other creature, clad in mottled tan and green scales, with spines running along it's back, had its broad head covered with bright red blood from the lizard's gushing arteries. After a moment, the last remaining creature leapt at the Yoof, with its hand-length claws outstretched. With a quick movement, the Yoof put its Choppa in the way of the claws, managing to successfully block them. The following kick from the creature's hooved back legs broke a couple of the Yoof's ribs. The next swipe of the creature's claws causes it to lose one set to the return swing, and the next slash from the Yoof removed the creature's head from its neck.

After a moment of looking around for more threats, the Yoof noticed another box in the corner of its view. As if the box knew it was noticed, it moved to the center of the Yoof's vision. It said that the Yoof had gained a level, and had gained two Black, two Green, and two Free Points, along with the Skills Looting and Inspect. Another box after the first one disappeared said it had made a soul-link with something called the Vorkal Choppa, but that the Choppa was Dormant. After that box, the next one exclaimed that the Yoof had encountered a Challenge and overcame it, giving the Yoof a White, a Black, a Purple, and a Blue. What turned out to be the last box said that the Yoof had gained a level in the Ork Toughness Skill and the Choppa Proficiency Skill each.

With the boxes over and done with, the Yoof had a few things it could do, it thought. It could poke around the clearing a bit more, it could wander off into the forest around it, or it could test out the new Skills that the boxes said it had. The Looting Skill gave it the feeling of taking things from dead enemies, and the Inspect Skill gave it the feeling of gaining more knowledge on things, be they living or dead. This was an important decision, the Yoof felt, as it was alone in a world where it could feel the echoes of multiple Bosses, but none of them overpowering the others.

Looking and Looting
The Yoof stepped over to the corpses it had beheaded, and looked closer at them. The smaller corpse made one of the boxes pop up, one that said that the corpse was a Riverstone Lizard, it was dead, and that it could be Looted. The other corpse was identified as a Hysenk, also dead, and was also able to be Looted. The creature that the Riverstone Lizard and Hysenk were eating was apparently an Eatin' Squig, was dead, and wasn't able to be Looted, as it was too damaged for that.

It decided to use the other new Skill it had on the two corpses it could, and when it touched the bodies, they broke apart into swirling green flakes, before coalescing into a reinforced vest, bracers, and a pair of trousers. The Yoof used its Skill on the clothing, and got back the information that it was a set of Jungle Lizard Light Arma, which gave it two Black, along with two Purple when worn in the jungle. Wondering about the Choppa that the Yoof had picked up, it Inspected the weapon. After a moment of buzzing in the Yoof's head, the box popped up with glyphs that said The Vorkal Choppa, Dormant and More Information Restricted. Another box said that Inspect and Looting had each gained a level as well.

The Yoof put on the set of Arma, finding that the thick leather and scales fit it almost perfectly. The bracers had a line of spines from the Hysenk on their outside edges, and the trousers had reinforced knees to protect them against wear and tear. After it got the Arma on, it noticed more Orks emerging from the soil of the clearing, about four of them. Also coming out of the ground were nine Grots, wiping the dirt from their faces. After all of the fresh Orks and Grots had gotten themselves out of the ground, they spotted each other. One of the Yoofs, slightly larger than the rest, said "I'z da Boss! I'z da biggest 'ere!" before socking another Yoof in the jaw, causing a couple fangs to fly into the air. After that opening blow, the Orks fell into a full out brawl, punching and kicking each other for the position of Boss. The Grots backed away from the fight, before one of them ran into the Yoof's legs and fell down with a slight shriek.

The Grots whipped their heads around and spotted the Yoof, who stared dispassionately down at them as they cowered in terror at the much larger, armed Ork. It nudged the trembling Grot on the ground with its foot, and said "Oi. Get up. Or I'z gonna punt ya into da trees. I'z watching da foight ta see who wins it, and don't wantz to be bothered roight now. Pick some 'shrooms or sumfing, just stay out ov it and out ov my way." With that, the Grot rapidly nodded and scrambled out of the way, going to do something else other than be in the Yoof's way. The rest of smaller greenskins quickly follow the Grot, heading over to the Eatin' Squig's body or grabbing ripe mushrooms. When the Yoof looks back to the fight, and sees one of the Orks has already gone down, the one that is an Evil Sunz Yoof, which the Yoof finds out when it Inspects the unconscious Ork.

The Evil Sunz Yoof has the ranking of Lesser in the Inspect box, along with the statuses Unconscious and Dominated. When the Yoof looked closer at the Lesser rank, it got the information of the unconscious Ork being more fragile and less killy than itself, but slightly faster when awake. The next Ork to go down is the Deathskulls Yoof, which is also found out when it is Inspected, and it has the same ranking and statuses. When the Yoof tries to get more information, the box doesn't pop up. The two Orks still in the brawl keep fighting for long enough that the Yoof is somewhat impressed with them, but the particularly toothy one goes down just before it could get its own finishing blow against the one that started the fight, who collapses on its back onto the ground, breathing heavily from the exertion.

The toothy one is apparently part of the Bad Moons Klan, and is once again Lesser with the same statuses. The extra information also doesn't come up for it, which leaves the Yoof a bit puzzled. When it uses Inspect on the winner of the brawl, it gets that the other Yoof is part of the Goff Klan, same as it. The other Goff Yoof has the statuses Heavily Injured and Exhausted. It is ranked as Slightly Lesser, with no extra information available once again. The next box to pop up is one that says that Inspect has leveled again. After the Yoof finishes looking at the boxes, the Goff Yoof looks behind itself, and notices the other Ork. It speaks out with ragged but recovering breath "Oi, you, ya git! Iz ya sneakin' up on me afta I'z won dis foight fair and square loike sum kinda Grot? Dats gunna get ya a kickin' when I'z gets up! Come on, anzer me!"

Gathering and Equipping
Responding to the Goff Yoof, the Yoof said "Nah, I'z ain't sneakin' loike a git, I'z wuz just waitin' fer da winner so I'z could make 'em my Under-Boss. You seem loike a cap-a-ble git, so you gets da spot. Ov coarse, I'z iz betta, so I'z da actual Boss. Letz look and see if we can find ya a proppa Choppa or sumfink." With that, the Yoof bent down and hauled its new subordinate to its feet.

After a quick look-around for a weapon, the Yoof found a basic Shoota, one that had a pitch-black mushroom colony growing ontop of it. It Inspected the fungi, and found that they were 'Ard Shrooms, which gave a temporary boost to Black when eaten. It picked the choicest caps from the colony, and put them in its pockets for later. Then it pulled the Shoota from the network of mycelial threads, and tossed it to its Under-Boss with the words "A Shoota. Just fer ya. Da 'shrooms will even toughen ya up fer a bit if ya eat em."

After getting the equipment for it's new subordinate, it went over to kick awake the other Yoofs. As it walked over to the starting to stir Orks, a Grot came up to its leg and pulled on its trousers. When the Yoof looked down at the smaller Greenskin, the Grot spoke out in a slightly terrified, squeaky voice "Uh, Boss? Me and da ovver Grots were doin what you said, and not botherin' ya, but we'z found some Choppas, Shootas, and Grot weapons in a pile over dere. Would ya like ta look at dem and pick one out fer yerself? Dere are also da signs of more Yoofs and stuff popping out real soon."

The Yoof patted the Grot on its bald head and said "Ya did a gud job letting me know 'bout da weapons. Ya get furst pick of da Grot bits fer dat."

The Yoof then strode over to the pile of weapons with its Under-Boss and saw an arrangement of Choppas, Shootas, Grot Blastas, and shivs being sorted by a pair of Grots. It saw one of them had grabbed a Grot Blasta and tied it around its waist with a length of vine. The Yoof picked up the armed Grot and shook the smaller Greenskin until the knot in the vine came loose. It then said "Dat wun gets furst pick ov da Grot bits. Not you, ya git." indicating the Grot that had told the Yoof about the weapons. It then looked over the assorted weaponry and grabbed one of them.

VOTE FOR SECONDARY WEAPON AT THE BOTTOM.

After picking out it's new weapon, the Yoof kicked awake the other Yoofs from its Under-Boss's group, and directed them to grab one weapon, and only one weapon from the pile. While they were doing that, another Grot came up to it, with a greedy look in its eyes. It spoke out in an almost greasy voice, still a bit shrill "Boss! My group of Grots haz found some special 'shrooms fer you ta look at. Dere are some fuzzy white ones, a big purple one, a bunch of little blue ones, and dis weird green one! I'z also got enough Eatin' Shrooms to last a good bit for yer great and powerful self, yer Boyz, and even some for yer favorite Grots! It can all be yers if ya give me second pick from da pile!"

The Yoof looked around the area, seeing its new subordinates doing the things it had told them to do, and looked back down at the Grot, who was twisting its hands in an unconscious motion that tipped off the Yoof to the fact that the Grot was probably lying to it about something. It then asked the Grot "Were'z yer second in kommand? Get dat git over 'ere real quick-like."

The Grot nodded, and called out for a Gragger to come over to it. One of the four Grots gathering mushrooms dropped what it was doing and rushed over to the group of three. While that was happening, the Yoof said to its Under-Boss to watch carefully. After Gragger had run over, the Yoof said to it "Dis is what 'appens when you try ta get one over on me."

The Yoof then kicked the first Grot across the clearing into a particularly thick bundle of the slithering vines on one of the trees. The vines quickly wrapped around the unfortunate Grot, sprouted thorns, and started to constrict around it. As Gragger watched its former boss get pulped and juiced, the Yoof said to it "I'z knows when someone iz tryin' ta cheat me. What's da things dat youz gathered dat are special."

Gragger, in fear for its life, quickly rattled off the things its former boss had said, in addition to a rocky and gray mushroom, and another patch of what the Yoof recognized as 'Ard Shrooms. The Yoof patted it on the back, and said that it got its pick of the Grot weapons from any of the Grots other than the one the Yoof had given first pick. Gragger rapidly nodded and ran off to the other Grots to get a weapon better than the shank it had already.

The Yoof then Inspected the special mushrooms, getting that the fuzzy white mushrooms were Zerker 'Shrooms, which increased White by a good amount, but decreased Blue a bit in exchange. The big purple mushroom was a Hidin' 'Shroom, and had two things it could do. It could make you invisible to the naked eye, or make you think you were invisible. The little blue mushrooms were Lucky 'Shrooms, and if eaten by a Weirdboy, they would grant a bit of extra luck to everyone nearby when the Weirdboy was channeling the WAAAGH. The weird green one turned out to be a Shieldin' 'Shroom, and if eaten by a Weirdboy, would stop them from blowing up one time. The rocky gray one was a Steel 'Shroom, which could be fed to a Squig to make it grow plates of armor over its body if it was also fed bits of scrap.

VOTE ON MUSHROOM DISTRIBUTION AT BOTTOM

After dismissing a box that said that Inspect had leveled, the Yoof saw that more Greenskins were pushing themselves out of the soil. Some Grots had already gotten out, and were helping get the rest get above the earth. The Yoof watched as all of the Orks pulled themselves out, and then walked over to them. It said to the Greenskins still wiping the amniotic fluid and loam from themselves "I wuz waitin' on some more Boyz to get 'ere. Go an' grab a Choppa or Shoota from da pile over dere, an' den come back over 'ere. Any ov you gits get ideas when I sayz dese words? Buildin' a Stompa or makin' a Big Shoota? Takin' a git's head an' stitchin' it back on? Gettin' a Squig ta be as big as a Trukk? Spittin lightning and 'opefully not 'splodin from da fighty-ness ov da Boyz? If so, lemme know."

A total of five of the newest Yoofs had ideas related to one, if not more, of those statements. Two of them had ideas for putting Grots into miniature Stompas, or a bunch of Snotlings in one of the same, calling the latter idea a Megorkziod, before starting to squabble about the colors of the Snotling's uniforms. One of them had started to crackle lightly with emerald lightning when that happened, before being told to stand away from the two now-brawling Yoofs. Another one had wandered over to some of the freshly emerged Squigs and was looking at their teeth to find the sharpest ones. The last one was muttering to itself about Cyborknetics, the most efficient way to revive a dead Ork with a lightning rod, and something about looting bugz.

After all the Greenskins had been organized, equipped, and prepared for the venture into the jungle, the Yoof set off with all of them in tow. As the band of Greenskins tramped through the trees, a multitude of creatures were attracted, disturbed, or fled from the noise. The ones attracted were mostly smaller predators, which were torn apart by Squigs or blasted to chunks by a hail of inaccurate gunfire from the Grots and Orks with ranged weaponry. A couple of the Snotlings got snatched by a leaping creature, before the Yoof threw its Vorkal Choppa to behead the creature, and succeeded. After the Yoof retrieved the Vorkal Choppa, it got a box that said that it's Choppa Proficiency had leveled.

It Inspected the beheaded beast, and got back that it was a Leaping Fang-Beast Corpse, and that it was able to be Looted. The Yoof did exactly that to the now-dead creature, once more having the corpse turn into swirling green flakes, and got four daggers, a strange necklace, and a rough metal tube with a stopper in it. It Inspected the loot, and found that the daggers were Fang Stabbas, giving 1 White when wielded, and were able to be enhanced by a sufficiently skilled Weirdboy. The necklace was a Leapin' Talisman, which gave the ability to jump up to three times your height into the air, and land safely when the leap ended, up to three times per combat or every hour. The tube was apparently a Potion of Speed, which increased Red by roughly one third of the base amount for one combat, up to a maximum of 10 Red added to the base.

LOOT DISTRIBUTION VOTE AT BOTTOM

After a while of crashing through the undergrowth, the group came across a clearing that contained a muddy, stone-edged pool with a large rock in the middle of it. On top of the rock were patches of multicolored mushrooms, growing in the rough ridges of stone. When the Snotlings saw the mushrooms, they went wild and rushed towards the pool. Once a couple of them had gotten on top of the outcropping, they started tugging at the mushrooms to pull them up. One Snotling, slightly larger than the others, managed to pull a fungal stalk and cap nearly the size of itself off the rock, along with a patch of stony hide.

With the ripping of skin from its back, the apparently not a rock awoke and roared out into the afternoon air. It stood up, its body emerging from the pool to show that it had eight pairs of limbs. One set was insectile, with thick plates of chitinous material covering it, and was mostly a jagged, inward facing blade that was large enough to cut an Ork in half from head to groin. The first set of legs had claws thick and strong enough to slice through the rocks around the pool, as it hauled its seemingly ponderous body from the thick mud. The last two pairs of legs were trunk-like and sturdy, with thick nails and pebbled hide.

After it had pulled itself from the swampy pool, the beast turned to face the group of Greenskins. Its head was broad and reptilian, with two large tusks coming from its lower jaw, and jagged teeth lining the rest of its mouth. It had a rough, pebbled, and scaly hide, with plates of similarly shaded chitin along its upraised torso, protecting its underbelly. Its tail was heavily muscled, long and had a bony, club-like end to it. The creature was roughly two and a half times the height of the Yoof, and about three times as long as it was tall. It paced about the opposite edge of the pool from the group, with the Snotlings still on its back, while the enormous beast was warily glaring at the group of Greenskins.

Krumping and Finding the Camp
The burgeoning Boss yelled out to its fellow Greenskins its plan for attacking the creature they had awoken from slumber. "BOYZ WIF CHOPPAS! EAT DA WHITE AN' BLACK SHROOMS, THEN CHARGE IN AFTA DA 'SPLOSIVE SQUIGS AN' GET DA FING'S LEGS! GROTS WIF STABBAS! CHARGE IN WIF DA BOYZ! BOYZ WIF SHOOTAS! SPREAD OUT AND SHOOT IT! GROTS WIF BLASTAS! DO THE SAME AS DA SHOOTA BOYZ! RUNTHERD! MAKE DA 'SPLODIN SQUIGS CHARGE IT! DEN HAVE DA ATTACK SQUIGS CHARGE WIF DA BOYZ! AFTA DAT, MAKE DA SNOTLINGS SWARM DA BEASTY! WEIRDBOY! EAT DA BIG GREEN SHROOM AND WUN OV DA LITTLE BLUE WUNS! DEN BLAST DA BEASTY OR MAKE DA CHOPPA BOYZ 'ARDER OR MORE KILLY! WAAAAAAAAAGH!"

With their leader roaring out their ingrained battle cry, the Greenskins followed the orders given with their own shouts joyously filling the air. The Runtherd picked up the 'Splodin Squigs, and tossed them one at a time towards the large beast. The quartet of volatile chemical-filled Squigs, seeing a target in front of them, and being annoyed at being thrown through the air like inflated bladders, rushed towards the eight-legged creature. Two of the bounding balls of explosive fungal beasts got speared through their mouths, but still exploded from the sudden force. The force of the blasts seemed to do nothing but smear the spear-limbs with greasy ash, but the other two Squigs managed to jump up onto the creature's clawed legs, bite down, and then detonate themselves. The lower limbs were less protected than the chitin-covered spear-arms, and exploded with gore. One of the Squigs had managed to get itself onto the knee joint of one of the limbs, and had blasted the lower part of the leg clean off. The other had comparably only flensed the skin and muscle from the front of the leg, leaving only bloody ruin and exposed bone left facing outwards.

At this point, the Orks and Grots armed with melee weapons had reached the somewhat wounded beast, and started to hack and stab at it. The larger Greenskins managed to get through the hide of the predator somewhat, and cause the beast to bleed, but the Grots' Stabbas aren't sharp enough, or have enough force behind the strikes to get into the creature's flesh. After the more intelligent Greenskins had struck at the massive beast, the Attack Squigs leaped up at the now seven-limbed creature, having reached it as well. The bouncing, two-legged beasts managed to bite through the stone-like scales and skin of the former octoped, as well as get their clawed feet into the gaps between plates of chitin and scale. Continuing to gnash and bite into the flesh of the much larger beast, the Squigs become covered in blood and gore, until they get shot by bullets from Shootas and Grot Blastas. The bullets managed to crack through chitin plates and shred through scales, riddling the great beast with Ork finger-width holes in its hide.

(POV Switch)

After shaking off the shock, the creature looked around, seeing itself surrounded by the same type of strange bipeds that drove it off from its former home, and roared out in fury. It was bleeding and wounded severely enough that it would take at least a season to heal, even if it did survive this fight. It swung its club-like tail to drive off some of the larger bipeds, sending a couple flying off into the trees or other bipeds. Its foremost legs couldn't be used to lacerate its foes in front of it, with one having been either blown off and the other stripped of most of the flesh upon it, but its spear-limbs could still function. The limbs stabbed out with a crack that echoed through the clearing, and pierced through multiple of the smallest green bipeds. Its rear two pairs of legs stomped in thunderous rhythm, shaking the earth and causing sodden parts to transform into pits of mire and muck. Multiple of the smaller types of bipeds were trapped in the pits as they formed under them, or they fled before the creature's might. As the mighty beast drove back the invaders, it saw a growing green light in the corner of its eyes. It turned its head to look at the light, and saw an orb of emerald lightning being formed above an individual of the larger bipeds.

The orb of lightning was held aloft above a strange, spiked, metallic branch, and the branch was being held by both hands of the biped as the orb arced lightning and the branch shook within the green-skinned creature's grasp. The staff was swung down a moment after the creature looked over, and the orb of electrical doom started to drift unerringly at the creature as the biped that generated it collapsed to the ground. The creature then heard a warcry from above it, and looked upwards. The largest of the bipeds had somehow managed to leap into the air above it, and was falling downward with great force, its hands holding a glowing green blade, with the edge pointed directly towards the creature. The creature pushed forward with its back two pairs of legs, and shoved through the mass of bipeds in front of it, which caused the falling one to miss its chance to take off its head. The creature only lost the remnants of its already-useless foreleg, but the largest biped managed to land on the creature's wide back, where it couldn't reach.

It is a moment later that the orb of furious lightning impacted the creature, complete with a snarling face reminiscent of the larger bipeds. The arcs of verdant electricity cut through the beast's hide and bone, before the lightning's containment broke, and a beam of emerald power pierced straight through the creature's chest, evaporating its primary heart and the part of its spinal column that was in the way of the beam. The creature lost all sensation and control of its body below its head and neck, and collapsed over onto its side. The last thing it saw was the largest of the bipeds, with a hole through its covering that exposed its bare chest, swinging its blade down at the creature's neck.

(POV Switch)

The Yoof grabbed the head of the creature that it and its Boyz had slain, and roared out "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHH", which its warband echoed a moment later.

It then Inspected the creature's corpse, which revealed that the slain beast was called a Harmantdo, and was still able to be Looted, which the Yoof did a moment later. The familiar sight of the corpse dispersing into emerald flakes happened once again, before those flakes combined into an array of items. The first item was the Harmantdo's skull, formed into a pauldron that boosted Black by five, and boosted Green by three, while being called the Beast Skull Pauldron. The next two items were Choppas, named Jagged Bug Choppas, made of the spear-limbs of the enormous beast, with one side of the sword-like weapons the jagged inside part of the limb, and the other side sharpened to a razor edge. The two Choppas gave three White when wielded, and could be enhanced like the Fang Stabbas. The next item was a set of armor made from the Harmantdo's armored hide, called Stony Beast Heavy Arma. It gave five Black, like the Beast Skull Pauldron, three Red when charging in a straight line, and two Purple when in a rocky environment.

Then there was the armored bandolier with multiple pouches, made of the hide of the Harmantdo once again, but the leather and chitin plates had streaks of emerald green traced throughout. It was called the Bandolier of Holding, and could carry up to fifteen different types of consumables, at up to five of the same type per slot. The consumables could be pulled out by only the wearer of the item, and it was always the one that the wearer wanted at that moment. The last piece of equipment was a large mace, made from the tail of the Harmantdo, named Arma-Breaka Smasha, that gave 3 White when wielded, and could be activated to crush a foe's armor in a location up to three times per combat or hour.

The consumables were the next things that the Yoof Inspected. There were a few strips of dried meat, called Rage Jerky, which increased White and Black by four each, but decreased Blue by six. Then there were a couple sacks full of some kind of liquid, seemingly made from the Harmantdo's stomachs, and were labeled by Inspect as Rock-Melt Acid Sacks. The description provided by the Skill said that they were able to melt through most rock-like or similar material, and that the acid was similarly potent against flesh. The last consumable was a strip of scaled skin, and it was called Scaled Saver. It would apparently stop the being who had it from dying from an attack or effect, putting them into a statis-like state if needed, and removing the thing that was killing them over time if the thing was a substance or sorcery. The remaining stuff was labeled as Crafting Material, and included a good amount of the Harmantdo's hide, its claws, and its sturdier bones.

VOTE FOR LOOT DISTRIBUTION AT BOTTOM

After the Yoof finished with its Inspecting and distribution of the loot, it looked over the boxes that it had pushed to the side during and after the fight. They had been partially compiled, with Skill levels and personal ones separate. The Yoof had gained three personal Levels, and was now at Level 4. WAAAGH Energy Generation had gained three levels, and so had Hard Git, leaving both skills at level four, which Looting had reached as well. Ork Toughness was now at level five, and had a marker next to it. When the Yoof looked closer at the marker, another box popped up with the explanation that the Skill was ready to Upgrade or Evolve. After reading the explanation of what that meant, the Yoof selected one of the improvements offered.

VOTE FOR ORK TOUGHNESS UPGRADE OR EVOLUTION AT BOTTOM

Choppa Proficiency had reached the same level as Ork Toughness, but was gray and when the Yoof tried to select it, didn't respond. The next time the Yoof tried, the Vorkal Choppa shook within its grip. The next box was one that said that the weapon had Awakened, and that since it had Bonded to the Yoof, it had chosen what to do for the Skill. The Skill had been Evolved to become True Cutting Expertise, which allowed the Yoof to cut metaphysical things with the right conditions and focus. The Skill also added a quarter of the Yoof's White as a bonus to attacking with bladed weaponry.

The boxes after that said that the Yoof had gained a couple Skills. The first one was called Leadin' Da Boyz, and added a portion of the Yoof's Yellow to its Ork subordinates' White when it commanded them. The second Skill it had gained was called WAAAGH Empowerment. That Skill gave it a temporary boost to its stats depending on the situation and how much WAAAGH energy was directed onto it at the time. If the Yoof was fighting, it would gain more White and Black, and if the Yoof was talking, it would gain more Blue and Yellow, as the examples given. The Yoof had also gained two Red from Challenge Growth.

After looking through the boxes, the Yoof turned to its warband. It saw the one that it Identified as a Mad Dok Yoof tending to the other Orks who had been seriously hurt. One of them had died from being hit by the Harmantdo's clubbed tail, so the Mad Dok Yoof was using the dead one's intact arms to replace the mangled arms of another Yoof who had blocked the tail as best it could. The Runtherd Yoof was feeding scraps of flesh to one of the surviving Attack Squigs while it set the Squig's broken leg. The Grots who weren't stuck in the pits of mud were pulling their fellows and the still-living Snotlings out of the pits with long branches and the help of one of the Mek Yoofs.

After every Greenskin still alive had been gathered and patched up, the Yoof did a count of its remaining troops. It had twelve other Orks still, and it had the same number of Grots remaining. After the Runtherd got its Squigs back up and going, it had six Attack Squigs and still the same amount of Guard Squigs, having the total number of Squigs at nine. The Yoof did its best to count the Snotlings, and ended up with a total of fourteen left. The dead Squigs and Snotlings were butchered and prepared to be eaten as the group continued trekking forward.

As the group moved through the jungle, the Yoof heard the sounds of an Ork camp ahead. When the warband broke through the underbrush atop a hill, the Yoof saw a moderately sized Rok that had been partially broken down for parts to build the camp. The camp wall was a mixture of scrap metal and tree trunks, with parts scarred from beasts attacking the camp. The warband was spotted by the look outs after a moment, and one of the camp Orks called out "YOUZE NEW GITS! GET OVAR HERE! DEREZ A REAL BIG BIRDY-FING HUNTIN' ANY YOOFS IT FINDZ OUTSIDE DA WALLZ! IF DAT DON'T GET YA OVAR, WE'Z GOT FUNGUS GROG AND GUD FOOD FOR ANY GIT WHO FIGHTS IN DA BEASTWACKA'S 'RENA!"

With that, the Orks in the warband look to the Yoof, to which it nods back. The warband then moved down the hill towards the gates of the camp, which the Yoof shoved open as the gate slowly opened inwards. A Nob emerged from the guardhouse, with a mug of some greenish liquid, and spoke out to the group with an acrid smell on its breath "Get da Grots an' Snotters outta 'ere, urgph. Dey gotta be in dere, urp, area. It'z 'rena day! Free grog at da shopds! You'z new gits should's get sum! It'z da gud schtuff! Get on in dere!"

With that, the warband moved into the camp, and the members peeled off one by one till it was only the Yoof, its Under-Boss, and the two Grots, Gragger and Grabba. The other three Greenskins look to the Yoof, and the Under-Boss says "Boss, whatta ya wanna do in dis camp? It looks like sum git made a map or sumfink on dat wall over dere."

The Yoof walks over to the map, and looks at it, seeing markers for different major locations in the camp on the crudely-drawn map. It then picks one of the locations with one finger, and speaks out with finality "We'z going dere."
