The aftermath of the Rachni Wars led to death and destruction on a massive scale across the Galaxy. 250 years after the war's end, when the last Rachni went extinct, the Galaxy breathed a sigh of relief and thought conflict to be over. 400 years after that, the Krogan rebellion began and the Turians were brought into the galaxy to fight them off and maintain order. 100 years later, the Krogan are neutered as a species, doomed to a slow death. From the peace, the Citadel Conventions were made, one of the topics and decisions made was the declaration that all Mass Relays yet to be opened will remain shut to prevent a Rachni or Krogan like species from ravaging the Galaxy again.

And for 1300 years that decree was respected. Very few races were brought into the Galaxy after the Turians, with only the Drell and Yahg being discovered, and only the Drell brought in. But all it takes is one contact to throw off centuries of established power balance.

The Turian Hierarchy has finally found the monsters in the dark that the Council feared, and the political, technological and military balance of the Galaxy was never the same.

Chapter 1: Blindness
Hey everybody! You might recognize me from my Star Wars/Ultrakill story, if you do, don't worry I will continue on that one as well. This story is one I've been thinking about for a long time.

Welcome to the timeline where Humanity pressed the "randomize" button on their technology. Sit back, relax, and enjoy!

Fleet Captain Flaso Abinius, Captain of the Command Cruiser THS Palaven's Fury and leader of the 6 Frigates and 2 Cruisers of the 12th Patrol Fleet, was internally bored. To his men he looked like a vigilant statue, watching over the space in front of him like a Salarian with a telescope, but on the inside he was begging for something, anything to happen.

His dad was an Admiral with connections, and even though there were more qualified officers to staff in a patrol fleet that guarded a Relay that led to unknown space, his Dad had gotten him put here, "To learn self-control before getting a real assignment." Sure Dad, whatever you say. Dare he say he had come along way in learning not to rip his mandibles off in boredom.

It took everything in his power not to tap his foot or drum his finger along the side of his Command console, he had to maintain his air of professionalism. A Turian captain could not be impatient, that would harm them when trying to achieve an objective. He was just, wishing for excitement.

Relay 314 suddenly activated, and his excitement peaked, 12 ships. "Get our scanners on them, are they pirates?"

"No captain, their markings do not match any known pirate group and their ship designs don't fit any known faction or species. High energy readings but we have no idea if their weapons are online or if that's the normal output of their ships." Said his weapons officer.

"A new pirate group maybe? This breaking of Citadel law cannot go unpunished if they are pirates, but if they're a new species entirely, best to make good first impressions." He thought for a moment

Flaso crossed his arms. "Send a first contact package to them, if they are a new species we need to establish good initial relations. At the same time, probe their communications, if they're pirates, I doubt their electronic warfare suites are up to par with ours, and if they aren't, let's hope they forgive our probes."

"Understood sir." His comms officer and electronic warfare officer saluted.

The package was sent out and probes were sent, Flaso eagerly awaited a reponse. None came, the EW officer reported that the probes failed to come back with anything, this was starting to get tense.

"Should I ready the mass accelerators sir?" asked his weapons officer.

He gripped the command console hard as he thought about the consequences of saying yes.

Would they interpret aggression if they weren't pirates? And if they were and he didn't, is he signing the death sentence for his patrol fleet?

"Go ahead. Warm them up and provide target locks, but don't shoot."

He waited, and waited, and waited,

Unknown to the Captain, the fleet across from him had received their assignment.

"Energy spiking in the unknown fleet!" The weapons officer reported.

"Get us firing!" Flaso knew for the last brief moments of his life, he chose wrong.

The mass accelerators barely began firing before the ship's hull melted as dozens of balls of red light moved through the mass barrier, impacting and burning the hull.

General Desolas Arterius read the report delivered to him.

'The 12th Patrol Fleet has been lost with all but one frigate and some survivors. Debris recovered from the system around Relay 314 has pointed to a conclusion that is not merely a pirate attack. Plasma burns were discovered, pointing to either a Geth attack or an entirely new power. Whatever the case, a Turian Fleet has been attacked. The Captain in charge is presumed dead or captured. Survivors reports ships of unknown design attacking them after attempted, pointing to new species conclusion.'

He was upset, majorly. Not just from the innocent Turian blood likely spilled, but the fact that some damn primitive species would attack Turian ships. Yes, anyone who gets it in their heads that it makes sense to attack Turians must have not fully developed intelligence, because if they did they would recognize that Turians are the supreme martial force in the Galaxy!

General Sparatus was a proud Turian Nationalist, and he'll be damned if he let's an attack go unanswered. The Hierarchy called upon him to lead an expedition beyond Relay 314, of course it will need to be on the quiet side in order to ensure that any and all measures can be applied without the cameras seeing, and it will need to be quick. A deadline of one year is provided, and with the force he's being given, he's sure he won't need a whole year to crush the threat.

The Hierarchy tasked Admiral Tulius Ramiraka's fleet to support Desolas in the goal of retribution, and had even provided 3 additional Dreadnoughts along with Tulius's own Command Dreadnought. Not to mention, the great 26th Armiger Legion was to join him on the ground. Victory was not in doubt, it was certain.

Glory to the Hierarchy! And in crushing all opposition!

From: Dr. Benning

Report: First contact achieved, war likely provoked.

Fleet Command Agent 048, under my orders, opened fire upon new species in order to capture them and pieces of their technology for study. Samples will take time to analyze and be sent out. In the mean time, I have requested additional flash clones and construction cadres to be moved to Experiment Grounds Shanxi in order to prepare a trap for when the enemy reponse inevitably arrives.
Shall I begin adding remote explosive potential to our weapons?

To: Director Dotsenko

From: Director Dotsenko

Directive: All technology must be primed to self-destruct

I have conferred with First Director Ebrantil, he has demanded that for the period of combat you experience with the newly discovered enemy, you are expected to rig every piece of technology, from starships to weapons to starch factories, all to be blown apart remotely. Do not under any circumstance let enemy forces gain technology from us.

Shanxi holds many of our special projects, it must not fall Dr. Your career and potentially the species are riding on you holding it.

Oh this is going to be good! Here's my theories on what's going to happen;

Machines (V1 especially) absolutely steamrolling through Citadel forces.

Hell or the angels enhancing the Rachni, Yahg, or both.

The Reapers finding about Hell, Hell proceeds to terrify them to the point that they try to kill it, or they become its servants out of fear.

Lots of gore, guns & blood-fueled robots developing a taste for alien blood, considering it like fine wine. Lemme give an example:

Random Multi-Armed Machine: (Holding multiple containers of various alien bloods) I have thirty bottles of Turian Blue, twenty bottles of Asari Purple, twenty five bottles of Salarian Green & fifteen of Krogan Orange, this vintage is restricted until we cure the Genophage so we get more blood. I also have fifty bottles of Geth White, although I suggest mixing it with something a bit more organic. I also have five bottles of Keeper Black & a single bottle of Collector Gold. What would you like ma'am?

V1 (I just headcanon V1 as feminine or at least sounding feminine after watching Ichellor's animations): I'll take ten of each Council race, five Krogan Orange, twenty Geth Whites & your entire stock of Keeper Black & Collector Gold.

RMAM: Very good ma'am.

Chapter 2: Fear and Hatred
The first 3 chapters of this story were written before the 1st chapter of my other story, so you get 3 servings today. So, eat well.

Admiral Tulius Ramiraka stood proudly as his Command Dreadnought, THS Invictus, stood at the speartip of an entire fleet group. Their convoy was General Arterius and his army, their destination was whatever system was beyond Relay 314, and their goal was retribution for the unprovoked attack of this arrogant new species.

Tulius and Desolas had both been tasked with this task force and mission by the Hierarchy, while the rabid Ultranationalist Desolas was likely foaming at the mandibles at the thought of gunning down whoever attacked them in his mind, Tulius was thinking about the future. Sure, these species might be as aggressive as the Rachni, or they could have made a missfire mistake and had to be punished but not as harshly.

Tulius ordered a scout floatilla ahead through the Relay to ensure there was no trap immediately after Relay jumping. They came back intact and reported a settled planet ahead with a small defense fleet. Likely, in their view, a capital if they're a smally spread out race, or a lightly defended industrial world if they're a highly spread out race.

"With that level of development," the Captain of the scout floatilla reported, "It has to be something major."

"Excellent", said Arterius "We should continue ahead and lay siege to the world, once their measly little fleet is crushed, and their people and capital under Turian occupation, they will be forced to the table."

"Unlikely, I don't think it's a capital world. I don't think a force that could take out a patrol fleet would have that small of a fleet." Said Tulius

"Nonesense Tulius, they're most likely backwards savages like the Krogan before enlightenment if they attacked us right away, so I doubt they are developed enough to be more then a single world state." Said Arterius

"Whatever they may be sirs, I think the fleet should move quickly, I have no doubt they detected us, is it not better to get the drop on them immediately?" interrupted the Scout Captain

"Of course, Admiral Tulius, bring us in." Said Arterius.

"Of course, Glory to the Hierarchy!"

"Glory to the Hierarchy!" everyone in his command bridge along with Arterius and the Scout Captain cheered.

Ship Captain Veruns Romulnius, of the Cruiser THS Courage and Honor, led his ship, part of the Task Force 314, through the enemy system. Scanners had spotted an enemy space station at the edge of the system, he was to send his boarding crews and sieze them to check for tactical value then leave.

No mass accelerators or torpedoes met them when boarding crafts were sent for the stations, while in theory this would be good, in truth it just put everyone on edge. All was normal as he pulled away his cruiser from the station in order to keep firing lines open if it does turn out to be a trap.

Then the station exploded.

His command bridge crew were jarred into alertness, "Do we have contact with the boarding crew?"

"No sir, I assume they're dead." Said the comms officer

"Damn. A trap then. They're smarter then we give th-"

"Hostile contacts ahead! 3 ships, frigate length!" The operations specialist reported

"Send out an SOS to the main fleet and ready the guns, give them hell!"

"Yes sir!" The comms officer and weapons officer affirmed.

The Courage and Honor's guns went live as mass accelerator shots were fired with precision, they impacted enemy barriers and most assuredly downed at least one of them after a concentrated volley.

The hall shook as it was impacted by, lasers!? They had DEWs!? This made things more complicated.

"Fire our torpedoes, fire off the GARDIANs, can I get an approximate damage equivalent for those DEWs?" He asked

"Well sir, whatever they just fired at us hits harder then any GARDIAN that's sure, but it's no more damage then being hit with a Frigates spinal accelerator." The weapons officer reported.

"That's not comforting when they can bypass our barriers" He ground out

"Enemy torpedoes inbound!" screeched the Operations Specialist

"Brace for impact!"

The ship shook once more as the torpedoes of these, savages, impacted Courage and Honor's hull. Mass accelerated rounds met one of the Savage frigate, Courage and Honor's spinal gun ripped it in half after it's barriers were shredded, the frigates remains detonated soon after.

"Reinforcements have arrived sir, 2 additional cruisers and 4 frigates of our own." reported the Comms Officer

"Enemy frigates are fleeing Captain, should we pursue?" asked the Operations Specialist

"Negative to that, what's our damage?"

"Heavy damage to engines, multiple mass accelerators on our starboard are out, there's some damage to the crew quarters and we have multiple sections of the ship taking in void" The damage control officer reported.

"Got it, get us back to the fleet, tell them to be careful when picking through the remains of that ship, the debris left could be rigged to blow." Veruns ordered

"Understood sir." Said the Comms Officer.

"Hell of a day." Veruns remarked.

Tulius was worried. While Arterius just rambled on and on about the vengeance that needed to be sought for this ambush, he was more worried about the DEWs employed. If they could produce frigate sized ones, it's not unlikely they have cruiser or dreadnought sized DEWs, and with DEWs negating Mass Effect barriers, that would be a problem for both the troops on the ground and the ships in orbit.

Arterius was gunning for the planet itself and had threatened to just take his escorted with him of Tulius insisted on sending out scouting floatillas to check for ambushes. Arterius screeched that Tulius was just getting good Turians killed and that only by siegeing their planet would all the "Savage Primates" be drawn out into the open.

While Tulius and Arterius were effectively the same rank chain of command wise, Arterius's brother was a respected SPECTR, and he had some pull in the Hierarchy's politics. Meaning he can very likely get Tulius reassigned and if he does that, then there will be no cooler head to ensure he doesn't run off and get himself or the whole task force killed.

Tulius had finally decided what to do, Arterius's fleet escort along with Tulius own dreadnought and it's escorted will leave the formation to attack the hostile planet, the rest of the naval aspect of Task Force 314 will patrol around the system to ensure the forces siegeing the planet aren't trapped and killed. It settles both Arterius's demands of immediate vengeance and his own of caution.

Spirits, please let this not blow up in his face.

Report: Objective failed, naval supremacy in Shanxi system unlikely.

Frigates were unable to completely destroy isolated cruiser, even losing one of their own, in calculated strength of Hostile navy, it is unlikely that the Shanxi fleet will be able to hold off an attack. As such, this unit recommends sending a messenger frigate to Arcturus system to inform additional forces of the threat and organize a counter attack.

Okay I can't help but add some funny short stories, I need to type them. Also I'm thinking that V1s/V2s might be mass-produced in some way.

Turian Soldier Before Shanxi Invasion: Let's shoot some threats to galactic peace!

Turian Soldier After Shanxi Invasion: It just had a pistol & coins… and IT KILLED AN ENTIRE FUCKING PLATOON WITH JUST THAT!!! IT WAS FUCKING TOYING WITH US!!! FUCK THIS I'M DESERTING! I DON'T CARE IF I GET EXECUTED FOR DESERTION I'M DEAD EITHER WAY!!!

Asari Commando Before Getting Captured By Machines: Such foolish machines shall fall before our might.

Asari Commando After Getting Captured By Machines: Please I'll tell you everything just don't let that thing- no, wait ple- (Proceeds to get mind flayed by a Mindflayer, have a headcanon that they can manipulate & control organic minds. Husks, demons, angels & other machines aren't affected though).

Salarian STG Member Before Finding Out About The Final War: Hmm, there must be some failsafe the humans have against any rogue Machines. Most likely can use it to shut down the Machines.

Salarian STG Member After Finding Out About The Final War: We're fucked. Absolutely fucked. No failsafe against rogue Machine, no special button, why would they? To humans, that's the equivalent of making a device that would permanently disable any biotic powers in every biotic in Citadel space, the height of stupidity. The humans fought a war that lasted two & a half centuries, constant arms race of developing newer, better Machines to counter Machines, then creating Machines that counter the new Machines, and the cycle repeats. Said war makes any planetary war seem like small skirmishes & historians will consider it one of the most brutal wars in galactic history, only rivaled by Rachni War & Krogan Rebellions. Worst part, human A.I. have already hacked Extranet & could shut it down without warning. Only reason why I know this is because they sent an email to me about it. They sent it to me because there's literally nothing we can do about it. Nothing.

Krogan Merc Before Seeing Earthmover In Action: Let's smash some tin cans!

Krogan Merc After Seeing Earthmover In Action: Fuck this, I'm surrende- Wait what are they doing to those Vorc- OH SHIT!!! THEY JUST MADE THAT VORCHA BREATHE FIRE!!!!

Batarian Noble Before Getting Shoved Into A Gutterman Coffin (humans in this story probably won't have Guttermen like in Ultrakill but it's probably a punishment): New slaves!

Batarian Noble After Getting Shoved Into A Gutterman Coffin: WHY CAN'T I DIE?!?

Swordsmachine After Taking Over Quarian Migrant Fleet: Attention bloodbags, you are now under my command. You will do as I say or your body will be turned into fuel for me. Seriously, your blood is fucking good, way better than Geth White.

Geth After They Discover Machine Probe In Their Space: We surrender.

Hell Before Finding Out About The Reapers: I wonder what sort of fucked up things the humans will cook up for their little skirmish against the aliens.

Hell After Finding Out About The Reapers: Well, time to fuck with robot squid ships.

Chapter 3: Terror and Malice
Second Lieutenant Caesoia Seveso was in charge of a 44 bird platoon that was to land with the second wave of General Arterius's army upon the planet. Currently, she only had her 1st squad of 10 was here. as the rest would come after the LZ was secure. Caesoia was a freshly trained officer, she hadn't had a deployment before this one, so this would be her first time leading the platoon in a non-training mission.

Over the comms she had heard that the first landing group was encountering heavy resistance on the ground with multiple red zones being declared in LZ's almost as soon as the dropships land. While she hadn't heard specifics she thought that things must be bad on the ground if the first wave is dealing with that much resistance.

She steeled her nerves and assembled her platoon. "Alright people, listen up, we're going into a highly dangerous landing zone, so when we land there will likely be mass accelerators fire already on us."

A private raised his hand "Is there no where safer to land?

"Not from what I'm hearing. It's either mass accelerators or SAMs and command would rather risk mass accelerators." She replied, "Now, when we get out I want one fire team of seven to provide cover from the drop ship while the other team of seven gets out of it, when that team is out, they provide cover fire for the one at the dropship to move up. Understood?"

"Yes Ma'am!" 1st Squad saluted as they replied.

"Landing in 15 seconds." The dropship pilot said over the intercom

"Alright, you heard the LT, check your mass barriers and let's give em hell!" said Staff Sergeant Luctius Badros

The Squad split itself in half, Caesoia took the side that would be first out.

"Dropping in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1-" came over the intercom

"Move, move, move!" Said Sergeant Camter Calatius.

Caesoia ran out, her mass barrier instantly took hits as the fireteam left. She got behind a sturdy looking rock while another 6 birds of her fire team proned into raised parts of the ground or joined her behind the rock.

She poked back out of her cover to scope down one of the Savages, she saw it aiming to fire at one of her comrades, she let out a burst from her Phaeston Rifle that broke the creatures barrier and punched bloody chunks in the creatures chest.

Aim, shoot, aim, shoot, adjust, aim shoot. Mass accelerators didn't produce as much recoil as old bullet guns so you didn't have to adjust as often, but they still had recoil.

"Fire at will!" Caesoia commanded as she pulled back out of her cover once again. Her rifle fired as she fired into the wave of attackers until her heat sink popped.

The wave of savages came at them quickly, depsite her soldiers efforts in taking down a good 7-10, there was at least 15 more behind them. If they couldn't get backup, they were going to lose this LZ.

"Lieutenant Seveso, Squadron XV here, enemy air defenses have been breached in your sector so we can provide support. Paint us a target." Caesoia tightened her jaw and used her omnitool to lay down a marker about 20 meters ahead.

"Copy, firing."

The screech of engines drown out the zip of accelerator fire, thousands of rounds ripped apart the advancing tide of enemies, buying her squad significant breathing room.

The sound of accelerator fire near her ended, but the heavier constant stream of zips she could still hear far away.

"Head count! Who's alive?" She called out.

"Aye" The Staff Sergeant popped up

"Aye" A corporal and 4 privates popped up from their cover

"Aye" The 3 privates next to her chimed in.

That meant the one dead was the other Corporal.

Oh, oh no. She just got somebody killed. Oh, spirits, how was she going to write to the family? How could she lead her platoon forward if she couldn't keep one whole squad alive?

"Lieutenant, come check it out!" A private kicked the corpse of one of the primitives.

Caesoia let the curiosity supress the guilt and doubt for a second and walked up to the body, it was, different, but familiar.

It was kinda like an Asari, but grey instead of blue, and without the head crests or hair that some species had.

The creatures hardsuit was all black and grey, while it's blood was red. It also had flecks of green on its skin.

"Run a vital, make sure it's dead."

The private did as instructed and reported, "Well, it's heart has stopped, so I'm pretty sure it's dead."

Staff Sergeant Luctius walked over. "Is it just me or is the green on its skin growing?"

What?

Caesoia looked at it again, and, yeah, the grey was slowly being replaced by green. Huh.

"I think we should back away from it, never know what kind of diseases it might have." Caesoia pointed her accelerator at it as she backed away.

"Sounds fair enough, we don't really know what it might hav-"

The corpse stood up. It's grey skin entirely replaced by a sickly green. It's jaw opened and seemingly tore itself apart extending as wide as possible, Caesoia forgot to fire in her shock.

The thing lunged at the poor private that had yet to move away, it's jaw completely engulfed the private's head, he barely had time to scream before it crunched, and bit his whole head off, hardsuit included.

Caesoia unloaded into the creature's body, blasting apart it's chest, but it just kept going! It lunged at the Staff Sergeant, but unlike the private Luctius brought up his omniblade directly into the thing's head. It dropped back to the ground dead.

The sound of accelerator fire refilled her ears, she looked around, and the corpses were rising again. How!? Why her?!

She fired wildly as the savages bodies starting walking again, and the LZ lit up once more in accelerator fire.

Desolas looked at the graphic images presented to him by a survivor of the 1st wave and a Turian xenobiologist.

"What the hell am I looking at?" Was all Desolas could word out at the images he was seeing.

The xenobiologist looked at something on her omnitool before answering "I have no idea. Based on the reports I've received, it seems the new species possesses the ability to just, revive themselves after death."

Desolas didn't even know how to respond to that.

The Sergeant took his chance to speak after her,

"The commonality between when these, reanimates, were encountered is when we didn't completely blow apart the Savage warriors. Those they were reduced to paste or even just separated limb from limb didn't get up. Those with just lethal gun shot wounds did get up."

"Are you suggesting I order complete evisceration of bodies after death?" Desolas asked, he wasn't really opposed to it.

"Yes." The Sergeant responded.

Desolas nodded, then asked "What has happened to those wounded by these, reanimates?"

The xenobiologist sighed and said "Nothing to report. We have them under 24/7 watch and medical testing, but we haven't found anything foreign in their systems. That however, hasn't stopped some units from executing their wounded in fear." She seemed more angry at the last part, and he was inclined to agree, a wasteful loss of life. What part of Turian Honor hadn't been sullied by these, animals?

"Tell the commanders they have my full permission to burn or destroy the dead of the enemy. Furthermore, I will discuss with Admiral Tulius about orbital bombardment on Savage positions and increasing the amount of deployed troops at a time. We will do what we must to win." Desolas growled out the last sentence.

"Understood General. Courage and Honor! Glory to the Hierarchy!"

"Glory to the Hierarchy!"

Report: Agents and Reanimates unable to prevent hostile landing.

Dr. While projects that were requested to be secured by other Directors and Dr's have been secured, like the Tyrant and the Combatiforms, initial landings by invading enemy force have repulsed our attempts to force them back off world. Depsite the shock and awe of the sudden reanimation of Agents, it was not enough to break their positions.

However, they have not begun an offensive as predicted the analytics predicted they would. It appears shock and awe was at least sucessful in stopping them for now. However, this unit requests unrestricted deployment of Agent J-22 against enemy positions to give agents and advantage on the ground.

Directive: Authorization for use of J-22, ALL1, TKBs, Project Einstein and Project No.22

Commander, I understand your reasoning, and I agree. I have been given full authorization for the use of all available assets to deny Shanxi to the aliens. As such, your request for Agent J-22 has been approved, the gas masks and cannisters are being shipped currently.

In addition, the usage of ALL1 Enhancers as approved as well, it's encouraged to only give one per agent. Projects Einstein and TKB have also been approved for field use against alien targets. Finally, Project 22 units will be used to slow the alien advance. Use your advantages well Commander.

To: Agent-Commander 076

The TKB-059 is a real-life project that was suspended for impracticality, here, that's not really a concern.

Let's just say that this is only the first of many surprises for General Desolas as the campaign for Shanxi continues.

For clarification, the TKB-059 was a Soviet three-barrel assault rifle capable of fully automatic fire. Also I can't help but be curious about what the other projects are, can we have some teasers on what J-22, ALL1, Project Einstein & Project 22 are? Also how can humans turn into Filth? Can humans reanimate into Strays? Schisms? Maybe even Sisyphean Insurrectionists? Can reanimated humans turn into Soldiers and/or Stalkers? More questions than answers.

Also if humans are willing to turn themselves into husks (the Ultrakill kind, not the Mass Effect kind), then they probably have zero issues against turning aliens into husks as well, makes one wonder what husks like that will be like.

These humans seem very much willing to genetically modify themselves, or at least turn themselves into husks. Honestly I think when they find the Vorcha, they're going to see "Perfect Test Subject/Excellent Testbed For Affordable Organic Troopers" & get a lot of them, like a lot of them. They'll probably going to consider the Citadel Council idiots for what they consider improper usage of a species that can adapt to anything so effectively as individuals they no longer can evolve naturally like other races because there's no need to. If you think about it, the Vorcha are the most evolutionarily perfect species in Mass Effect. Here's what I think the humans will do to the Vorcha;

Super strength
Super speed
Limbs take minutes to regenerate
Durable flameproof carapace
Fire breath
Tail that can either shoot out toxic spines or explosive spines
Bioelectric hands
Capable of eating anything organic & even inorganic materials
Can survive decapitation
Can grow wings & fly

It's probably too much but screw it, Ultrakill will never be known for its realism

Now I just realized something, what the hell is the Tyrant & Combatiforms? I think the second might be upgraded V1s (terrifying just in concept).

Lemme theorize on what the Tyrant, Combatiforms, J-22, ALL1, TKB, Project Einstein & Project No. 22 are.

Tyrant: Maybe an upgraded Earthmover or some sort of powerful & durable Machine.

Combatiforms: Mass-produced & upgraded V1s and/or V2s.

J-22: It's some form of gas, maybe it can turn turians into husks or it's just some super poison gas.

ALL1: They are called enhancers so it's pretty obvious.

TKB: A fully automatic three-barrel assault rifle, probably an electric gun.

Project Einstein: Some form of handheld weapon, probably radioactive or related to quantum physics judging by the name.

Project No. 22: Some form of Machine judging by them being called units.

Also if humans are willing to turn themselves into husks (the Ultrakill kind, not the Mass Effect kind), then they probably have zero issues against turning aliens into husks as well, makes one wonder what husks like that will be like.
This humanity, unlike Ultrakill, is based around WWII's biological advancements instead of WWI technological advancements. Imagine the biological equivalent to a Blood Machine, a creature with pieces of machinery instead of a machine with pieces of a creature.

Last edited:
Well let's just say Unit 731 never had a reason to disband in this timeline, which is a small part of the reason why this humanity could care less about genetic enhancement.
Oh f*** that ain't good. Lemme guess, Hell or Heaven? Will we see actual Machines in this story? Because in my opinion, it's not really Ultrakill without the killer robots powered by blood & are basically the favorite adopted kids of a massive intelligent superorganism made in a fit of despair to house & punish the souls of the damned & one that enjoys extreme violence, suffering & death.

It's not really an Ultrakill crossover as much as simply taking a page of inspiration. You'll still get machines that might feel familiar in a certain way though.
