In another world, the year would be 3500 BCE. Across the green, grassy Sahara Plain civilisations are beginning to emerge along the rivers and inland seas of the region. Some will turn into great Empires, others will fizzle out and be conquered. You must guide a civilisation through the end of the Copper Age, Bronze Age, Iron Age and beyond. This is The Fertile Plain.

As this is about the rise and fall of civilisations over a long period of time, turns will be 500 years at the start but I will probably slow down later on.

Civilisation Creation

Name:
Ethnic Group:
(Can be an OTL group (but bare in mind the divergence), an original one or one created by another player. You don't own the ethnic group but it would be courteous to ask another player before using their group)
Language: (All languages here will be part of the Afroasiatic family. It would be helpful if you put down what branch of the family your language is in, to help with language modeling)
Location: (Where you are on the map. If your are a nomadic civilisation then say so.)
Preferred Map Colour: (First come, first served.)
Civilisation Type: (There are three types at the start. River, City State and Nomad. River and City State will eventually evolve into Sedentary Empire, while Nomads can either evolve into Sedentary Empire or Nomadic Empire. I will provide more information on this front later.)
Cultural Information: (What is the culture of your civ? Remember that the river will be a major part in the culture of a River Civ (ie Egypt) etc. I don't need an essay, a couple of hundred words would be great)
Religious Information: (What are the major deities of your civilisation's religion. Remember that your civ type will affect your religion and again I don't need an essay.)
Traits: (Total of 20 points to distribute, 1-5 for each trait)
Aggressiveness:
Devoutness:
Tolerance:
Maritime Skills:
Innovation:
Scholarship:
Centralisation:

Tech Tree
It is the building block of this game. Each turn you can do three focuses, but some are limited by Age. It is compulsory that you enter the Bronze Age in Turn 1 while it is compulsory for Nomads to domesticate the horse on Turn 1. Here is a link to the tree.

Plans
Unlike standard Nation Games or GSRPGs, you won't be able to do war plans, espionage plans etc because of the length of the turns. Instead, each plan should explain what direction(s) you intend to expand in, what focuses you are doing and anything else you think is relevant.

...

This is going to be a Test Game to see if this format works. It is likely we will only be playing the Bronze Age, although there is a chance we could do the Iron Age as well. I've also created a Discord for it, the link is here.
