THe faith is not stupid enough to risk starting a civil war when we have a lot of support and dragons.
They are however, very much about to do some very good powermoves.
Considering he literally stole millions from the throne, put us in a very precarious financial situation that would make Braavos very wealthy and powerful, and fed Roberts paranoia where he basically tried to commit genocide on the Valyrians in WEsteros (the only group of people who could conceivably hatch dragons to their knowledge), and then just ran home to be a conquering hero and became Sealord?
Yeah, littlefinger just pulled one of the greatest espionage operation in the history of the world, and then is rewarded for it.
Gotta admire the mans gusto.
