The Dawn of the Urban Dead (A Simple Zombie Quest)

The first thing that hits you is hunger.

Not for food, or drink. But for flesh. Human flesh.

And as you stand up, in a random street of Malton, you rise as a member of the living dead. You are… you're… not sure. But that doesn't matter. All that matters is you need to eat. Eat the living. Eat the dead. It doesn't really matter.

You must eat.

You start off with Brain Rot, one Human Skill, and one Zombie Skill. You can use the Human Skill as a Zombie. Each of these options opens up more options, so keep that in mind.

[ ] Vigor Mortis - You claw… you bite… [Clawing and Biting gain a +10 chance to hit.]

QM's Notes! Welcome to Dawn of the Urban Dead! Based on the browser game Urban Dead, I found out the game closed down recently, and got nostalgic. This is mainly me having some fun with the setting. Don't expect a grand story. Just some fun playing a zombie.

It's too much of a blur. But as you look down, you see medical kits hanging off of your body. You know what these were. You know how to use them...

But the hunger... you still hunger...

[You start with 3 First Aid Kits, or FAKs. FAKs heal 10 HP, and are single use.]

It takes you a while. But you eventually make your way to the hospital.

There is a corpse here. You can't tell if was human or zombie when it died, as it's face down.

It is still full of flesh. So full of flesh. It holds a metal bar, with a curve at the end. [Memories of Life]. You take the bar. You think it'll help you get more flesh inside. +1 Crowbar. Crowbars make it easier to break barricades.

And with that, you finally give into your urges, and chomp down on the flesh. And as your teeth pierce the skin...

FIZZZZZZ!

You jerk back, releasing your hold on the corpse. Something is wrong. Something tastes like strange chemicals. [Medic] Like medicine. Foul tasting medicine. You can't eat this meat.

You look down, as the bite wound you had just inflicted start to heal. [Medic] Faster then possible. This is strange. A dead body healing? The bullet wounds are also healing...

But you hunger. Oh so much, you hunger. Hunger enough to start looking for non-fizz corpses.
