[x] Give me the damn file.

For your first couple of kills you tend to crash pretty hard. It's best to get your first, second, and third around the exact same time so that you can have your crazy freak-out all at once, preferably taking it out ON the fourth, instead of inefficiently wasting time with down time and guilt.

I'll discuss buying and such later XD. I'm too tired for this shit.

Also, as long as I'm involved your rolls will be screwed if you roll for us. So just let us roll using whatever system you think is optimal. Why is your invistext in two parts?

[X] Yes, I'd like to buy...
-[X] A gun, along with accompanying supplies (bullets, cartridges, cleaning kit, etc.)

No particular preferences on other purchases, but the pen? That was just embarrassing.
Also, calling it: the office worker wasn't just an office worker.
Mithrandir threw 1 20-faced dice. Reason: Site, whatever that means. Total: 6
6 6

Not so much asking for a roll right now, but I meant I was offering to have rolls done on the site's roller rather than my own dice.

A totally mundane handgun with mundane supplies runs ten points regardless of model, complete with a contract's duration-worth of bullets.

Oh. That makes sense. Mea culpa. I thought the cryptic voice was being cryptic.

Still buying it. Especially with nigh-infinite bullets!

How much would it cost to get a high powered silencer on that?
And maybe the knowledge of how to shoot a gun?(if we don't already have that)

Oh hoh. The silencer for the normal handgun is free. You could, of course, buy a weird gun that would have... less comprehensible properties, one of which would be quiet bullets, but that would cost more~

Any simple physical training/hand-eye coordination improvement costs (15 * total + level). For example, to purchase Endurance from + to ++, it would cost 30 points. The limit is +++ for any skill, however, and each + takes up a full purchase, no stacking.

To train, or not to train - that is the question. Either way, at least we've already decided suicide isn't the answer!
Gun-wise, I think we can learn on the job. Our first kill was at close range anyway. Just throwing it out there, but could we get:
-[ ] A mystical trench coat that will protect us from harm, maintain an even temperature, hold our stuff, and charge itself off excess body motion.

That sounds really expensive, but I'm not totally against the idea.

Again, from the arcane to the mundane and everything in between, you can probably buy it, so long as it's not going to go around blatantly screwing with physics on a scale that literally cannot not be noticed.

Of course, just buying a magic portal to australia was 100 points, soooo...

Specifically, I'd like to buy that pistol with the silencer. That could come in handy.
And Mithrandir is right. We don't need training, we'll get it in the field.

Now, is there any way we can get it set up so that the gun returns to us if we lose it? I'd rather not lose the gun on a stupid roll if we're paying for it like this.

On 'learning' skills, and why they're kind of necessary in the long run.

When I need to roll, I check what things are most likely to be needed. For instance, firearms(pistol) for shooting, or a mixture of sensory reflex+ and acrobatics+ if you want to go parkouring, or sensory reflex+ and size- both improving a check to get through a crowd despite there being a size- (now where do you remember that happening?). You might notice that you inexplicably have an easy time blitzing through the electronic boards in Providence despite it being a security nightmare. That's because you've got +++ in tech and science, in a general sense (and always roll high on it). If you had something a little more specific like computers, it would be twice as useful as a general skill for checks.

Quick learner lets you pick up mental skills, or rote skills like martial arts or weapons training, at all on a day-to-day basis without the kind of focused training you'd otherwise need, but never higher than the + of quick learner. To be nice, I'm gonna warn you that the odds of picking up random +'s are not super great, only one in ten, and then only on a success.
