AN: I always wanted to try write a story, this is my attempt!
Somewhere in ancient Pannonia, far removed from the grandeur of the world's kingdoms, a miracle of life was taking shape. The miraculous and painful transition from womb to world unfolded in the usual fashion. However, in this labor, the ordinary was intertwined with the extraordinary, for the infant making its way into existence was destined to stand apart from the wider tapestry of humanity.
This child was chosen to bear the Ancestral Codex.
Within them, the ancient script of their people, the Ancestral Codex, was reborn. They held the promise to rise as a champion, a beacon for their people, being the first in many generations to carry the Codex. The Codex had once been a symbol of strength and unity, but millennia of oppression against the Old Ways and its followers had nearly extinguished all knowledge of its existence.
The child's journey would not be easy. To manifest the Codex's power and bring about the resurgence of the Old Ways, they would need to survive a hostile world. His screams echoing through the ancient stone walls, the child began its journey, entering a world desperately awaiting their ascendance…
