So I was going over some of my old threads, and realized that my most successful Quest was my first one. It wasn't trying to be super-historically accurate, or ambitious, but it was fun, people liked it, and it reached 17 pages.

With this in mind, and aware I might be pissing off the community constantly trying to do quests and failing at them. I'd like to give the ck2 system one more shot.

To Start with, pick any character from any time period from any universe. It can be anyone from a king to a peasant (You better hope to become a king though). Keep in mind that I reserve the power to refuse any choice no matter how popular it is. I probably won't be using the power though (Except when you vote for someone or something evil and/or super-controversial like Hitler or some dark overlord dedicated to destruction and misery) as I have my friend the internet to help me research. Of course the less time needed for research, the more chance it has of being accepted.

Voting Format:

Time: []
Place: []
Universe: []
Character: [] (If the character is historical, or already established as a character in a fictional property all you need is his or her name. If not, his name and a short Bio will be required)

Time: 9:30 Dragon
Place: Ferelden, Thedas

I have no idea what I'm writing

So sorry, but no crossovers. If the game is taking place in Gotham City, it has to be an original character with a bio or an actual person who lives in Gotham City

Alright, I was a bit too broad, so I'm gonna leave out the option for a universe. Our world only unfortunately.

Uh, uh, how about this idea:

Time: No idea
Place: Gotham City
Character: Commissioner Gordon

Let's run a CK2 with us controlling the GPD.

That's not a bad idea, and I'd take it in a second if I wasn't worried that the decade's worth of DC universe canon I haven't read was going to ruin it.

You could start out with a blank universe, that Gordon is taking charge before the emergence of metas; thus later on add elements of whatever universe you like.

You did say that we could pick from our earth right?

Alright, turns out we're going with the Gordon Idea after all. Then again, if there is enough player resistance...

True choice
Decided that we should establish what setting the game will take place in first before we actually choose a character. Here are some setting choices. You can do write-ins, but I reserve the right to refuse them.

[] Sci-Fi Horror: This setting takes place in a world where Humanity is in the process of colonizing space, and finding that some species are best left undiscovered

[] Standard Sci-fi: Those species you encountered can talk to you and don't want to kill you! Wonderful! There are still problems that need to be solved though.

[] Standard Dystopia: Turns out handing all of that power to that one guy wasn't a good idea after all. But as long as there is life, there is hope. And you intend to protect both

[] Contemporary World Dictator: The opposite of Standard Dystopia and Sci-Fi Horror, this setting features aliens coming down from Space and helping us poor unenlightened humans by mathematically determining the best possible ruler of Earth. Turns out it's you.

[] Wild West: Or sometimes you wanna go back to the past and enjoy a unique setting among all of the land of lawlessness-type settings.

[] Fantasy Dystopia: Just because you don't have telephones yet doesn't mean the world you inhabit isn't currently complete and utter shit for everyone but the elite. Yes I got this idea from a certain Fantasy author!

[] Fantasy Feudal Japanese-esque: Just because it's from the west doesn't mean it's the best! Take on this setting if you like fantasy elements combined with Samurai and Ninja.

[] Weird Fantasy World: Or maybe you want to throw Humanity out the window all together. We've got you covered. Take a walk on the truly wild side in a land populated by truly strange creatures and societies that bring to mind a cartoon.

[] Less weird Fantasy World: If you've got a hankering for some more relatable fantasy then go ahead and pick this option. There will still be strange creatures, but also familiar ones.

[] Horror World: Like a contemporary World, but it suddenly got more dangerous as all the evil spirits and such suddenly decided to start impacting it.

[X] Fantasy Feudal Japanese-esque: Just because it's from the west doesn't mean it's the best! Take on this setting if you like fantasy elements combined with Samurai and Ninja. Haven't done one of these before.

Standard Dystopia Wins. Unless it violates forum rules, I'm going to create a new thread for the game itself since it took so long to finally get to it. Of course I'll update this thread as well when it's ready.
