So yeah, this will hopefully help us clear up our own and the sectors religious stance, next turn i would probably focus a lot on recruitment and meeting nearby chapters.

The basic idea is that we are the sword and shield of the Imperium and we are NOT going to participate in the internal struggle of the Mechanicus and the attacks of the Ecclesiarchy on people who are not even cultists.

1. We have ships, so it makes sense that we use our strengths.
2. The help of the Imperial army will allow you to transfer regiments to more necessary directions.
3. A kind of reconnaissance of uncharted territories.

Why contacts with the Army and Navy? We will meet with them most often.
The Inquisition would also be useful, but if the Inquisitor needs the help of the Astartes, then the world will be lost within a week)))
 
Honestly i dont really want to participate in the religious struggles, but more important for me is a) the chance to find an STC which would be huge and b) hoping that we can mediate in the ecclesiarchal mission bc a world still running on great crusade era principles and tech could be a great boon.

a) One technology is not worth the discontent of thousands of Mechanicus. It won't be funny if we mechanics restrict our access to their shipyards and factories.
b) Will you seriously try to peacefully resolve the ideological conflict between such different ideologies? During the Great Crusade, all Ecclesiarchs would have been hung from trees .
If we had a different background, we could try, but we are who we are.

You know, the problem with this plan is that it does nothing against the Orks who are gearing up. Sure, they're not that deadly now, but it's that mindset of negligence that sees big Waghs be formed.
While the orcs suppress the defenses of the planets, while they find out who the Boss is here, while they build normal ships, until they reach our planets...
All this takes time. +Methods of dealing with orcs are known and simple. Kill the Boss and the WAAAGH will split into warring gangs. To be honest, at the moment, the pirates look more dangerous.
As a compromise, I propose to ask for the next turn to send the freed guards with us to return these planets.
