Bulma, someone who can turn her talents to almost any field and understand alien technology near-effortlessly is thrust into a ruined city having similarities to her future son's timeline before it got erased and later on joins an organization dedicated to protecting humanity.

Post DBS: Super Hero
Displacement
Bulma sat on her couch as she finally placed the last Dragon Ball on her purple cushion. With the set complete, she wondered what kind of wish she should make. She had decided on this as her annual routine whenever the Dragon Balls were active again, to make any wishes that her or her friends could think of. Something 'small and insignificant', as Piccolo put it, to prevent someone from misusing the Dragon Balls with ill intentions.

Like the incident with Frieza all those years ago.

"Small!" she huffed, "as if he would understand any of my wishes. Let me show Piccolo just how small and insignificant my wishes are!"

Earth was in relative peace right now, even with the whole Red Ribbon Army secretly coming back together just to be stopped by all of the Earth's defenders. They were still on Earth, of course, as they couldn't even get in contact with Goku and Vegeta, who were still training on Beerus' planet.

The scientist grabbed a purple and green device. "Hello, Whis? Are you there? "

The device shined for a few seconds, with the screen of said device revealing a man with light-blue skin and white hair.

"Oh, hello there, Bulma." The Angel greeted with a warm smile. "Is there anything you need? "

"Can you get Vegeta over? There's something I need him to do," she asked.

On the screen of the device, Whis turned to his right. "Vegeta! For you."

The screen shifts towards a familiar face: "What do you want, Bulma? Can't you see I'm busy training? "

"Well, excuse me for interrupting." Bulma glared at her husband slightly. "Anyway, I want you to pick up Bulla from Gohan's house. She should be finished with her playdate with Pan, though."

"What? Me?" Vegeta pointed at himself, "Why don't you do it instead? I'm busy here. Ask that Android you hired to pick her up for us if you don't want to do it."

"Gamma 1 is busy helping Dr. Hedo, so that's not an option," she shot back, rubbing her temple when faced with Vegeta's stubbornness.

"Then what about—" Bulma was already having none of it.

"IF YOU DO NOT, THEN THERE WILL BE NO DINNER FOR YOU LEFT ON THE TABLE, SO STOP ARGUING AND JUST DO IT!" She yelled at the device at the top of her lungs.

That shut Vegeta up immediately, not wanting to feel her wrath. He gave a defeated sigh. "Y-Yes, I'll be on my way."

"There we go; see you later at dinner! "Just like that, Bulma brightens up. "I'll also make food for you and Lord Beerus to pick up, Whis."

"How generous of you; we'll look forward to it," the Angel replied, his eyes twinkling in anticipation.

With that, the communication device was turned off.

She should start getting dinner ready early, Vegeta and Bulla should be arriving soon and Trunks would soon be finished with whatever he had going on with Goten. Bulma grabbed a picture frame to her left and lifted it up to her face.

It was a picture of her, Goku and Krillin when they first entered the World Martial Arts tournament. She sure missed those good old days of adventure, those had been a wild ride which she'd fondly remember.

Just as she was about to stand up, her office was engulfed in a flash of golden light which swallowed her and the Dragon Balls whole. When the light died down, Bulma and the seven Dragon Balls were both gone.

A knock was heard on the door of the office before the door opened to reveal Trunks.

"Oh hey, Mom. Sorry to bother you if you're busy with something but can you tell me when dinner is gonna be ready—" As Trunks entered the room, his mother was nowhere to be seen.

"Mom?"

Unspecified Location…

The sensation of a lick on her cheek made Gudako awaken slightly, finding it hard to push the intruder off with her limited energy. She struggled to open her eyes, her memory hazy; just how did she find herself in such a predicament?

The only thing she could recall was... not much. Freezing, extreme cold, then a face trying to comfort her and finally a furious expression. A joyful talk, then suddenly flames, flames, severe agony, and bleeding. The cries and the cacophony of destruction brought an end to the lives of those lucky few who had survived.

A frown appeared on her face as she concentrated on the kind words being said to her, eventually finding the strength to open her eyes and observe...

Additional fires. Everywhere she turned in the city, there was fire and destruction. There was not a single living soul to be found until a frantic scream of a woman was heard somewhere in this devastated city along with gunfire and explosions.

She could only hope that her brother and Mash were safe.

As she got closer and closer to the noise, she saw a white figure with light blue hair running away from the same skeletons that were chasing behind her as well. She had to guess that was the source of the screaming followed by gunfire, given that she had a rifle in her hand which was directly pointed at the skeletons.

"DIE! DIE! DIE!" The blue-haired woman yelled out as she kept firing at the skeletons. "DIE YOU SACK OF BONES!"

The bullets rained down on the skeletons but they had no effect, making the woman grumble in irritation.

"Of course, bullets wouldn't work on these things," She grumbled before pulling out something from her pocket and revealing… a capsule…? "Good thing I have these in my pockets just for cases like these though."

BOOM

A puff of smoke exploded from the capsule which soon dispersed and revealed a new weapon in the woman's hands. She aimed and fired at the skeletons, blasts of energy coming out of the weapon instead of bullets.

It hit one of the skeleton's heads which disintegrated, they stopped for a moment to look at their fallen comrade which the woman gladly used as a distraction to kill them all until none were left in her sight.

Gudako took this as an opportunity to make herself known to the woman. "HEEEY! MIND HELPING ME HERE PLEASE!"

The woman noticed her, she gestured for her to duck which she compiled as lasers firing and making contact with the skeletons rang into her ears, she turned around to find the skeletons that were chasing her were now gone given the scattered bones and weapons were piled up on the floor.

The woman with the futuristic rifle walked up to her, crouching down to her level with her arms stretched for her to take. The orange-haired girl took as the woman helped her stand up.

"T-Thanks…" Gudako rasped as she caught her breath.

"No," The blue-haired woman replied, "thank you for confirming to me that I'm not alone in this ruined city that reminds me of my future son's timeline before it got– Ah! Sorry, forgive this woman's ramblings."

"Anyway, call me Bulma." The woman now named Bulma introduced. "What's yours, kid?"

"Gudako Fujimaru, pleased to meet you Bulma-san!" She let out a smile despite the destruction around them, at least she got in contact with someone who wasn't hostile.

"Say, do you know where we are? It seems to be that this isn't the West City I'm familiar with." She asked, looking at their surroundings with her rifle gripped close to her in case anything hostile like those skeletons decided to attack them.

"West City?" The orange-haired girl tilted her head in confusion, she shook her head. "This… is Fuyuki…we were supposed to Rayshift here to prevent this from–AHHHH!"

"What's wrong?" Bulma asked in concern.

"We have to find my brother and my kouhai Mash!" She realized, frantically looking around in all directions which way to go. "Let's move. Hopefully—"

"Hold it right there, young lady!" Bulma stopped her, Gudako glanced at her. She was about to ask why she stopped her until she glanced at something on Bulma's hand.

It was the same capsule-like device that Bulma used to summon her laser rifle with a label number '9' printed on it.

"If we're gonna find your brother and friend then, this will make it faster." Bulma pressed the button on the device and threw it on the ground, a puff of smoke dispersed revealing a futuristic-looking motorcycle with a roof built in.

"Man, this sure is nostalgic." She inspects it before taking a seat in the front. "And it still fits! Come on, we need to find your friend and brother before more of those skeletons appear." Bulma gestured at Gudako to get on the bike. Gudako nodded and went behind Bulma in the backseat.

Bulma then handed her the laser rifle she was holding, making Gudako confused but she took it. "Use it to watch our backs or anything hostile coming our way."

With that, Bulma pressed a button and the vehicle came to life and blasted away leaving a trail of dust behind.

Unbeknownst to the pair, a figure on top of a building was observing them before jumping from building to building to follow them.

The pair navigated through the ruined roads of Fuyuki as Bulma dodged any obstacle that was on the road, Gudako was laughing as if she was having fun shooting down any hostile monster that was scattered on the roads, which she used to practice her aim while on the ride.

"This is even better than those shooter games my brother and I play—! Huh?"

"G-Gudako? Do you read!? It's me, Romani." She immediately lights up her wristband and activates it, bringing forth a hologram of a young man without any hesitation.

"Doctor Romani!" Relief in her voice seeing a friendly face.

"Oh, I'm so relieved that it finally linked up. I attempted a broad scan, however, the entire system is functioning poorly right now. I'm glad I was able to connect to you." He was relieved to find another surviving master, he took a look for a moment and realized that there was another person next to the orange-haired girl. "And who's that with you?"

"Oh? Well, she's someone I found when I got here. If it weren't for her, then I would've been toast! Alright, hang on a second…" Romani was confused when Gudako glanced at something on her shoulder before witnessing her wielding some sort of rifle, taking aim and—

PEW

"Headshot!" She called out, "Another one bites the dust! Damn, I'm already loving this thing!"

Romani sweatdropped at her antics, "Anyway, with the few bits of navigating data I have acquired. I'll send you the coordinates where Ritsuka, Mash, and the Director are stationed at the moment."

"Is it possible to transfer those coordinates to the GPS that's on my bike here?" Bulma asked as she maneuvered through all the abandoned cars and trucks on the road. After a few seconds, the GPS came to life producing a waypoint.

"Alright, that should be it. I'll pass on the message to the others. Good luck you guys." The transmission ends.

"Huh, so it isn't far away from where we are right now—LOOK OUT!"

Bulma had just enough reaction time to dodge the bike on the skeleton that flew in front of them like a missile.

"There's more!" Gudako pointed her finger at more of those flying skeletons that looked like they were thrown at them, quickly aiming her rifle and started firing. She was able to take out a few before she missed one, and it collided with the motorcycle.

"Dammit!" Bulma cursed, as she tried her best to maintain control, "Hang on tight, I don't know if I can maintain it for long."

True to her words, it finally broke down but she still tried her best to negate the force of the crash as they busted down a gate of a ruined mansion and the door. Bulma grabbed Gudako as both jumped off of the motorcycle.

It crashed into the wall but it did not explode, Bulma approached the motorcycle and let out a tired sigh. "At least on the bright side, I can still fix it."

"Oww…" Gudako groaned as she slowly stood up.
Bulma tensed up as she felt something crawling up to her pants, slowly lowered her head, and gasped at what she saw.

Worms.

Worms that looked oddly shaped, Bulma doesn't need to describe, as she shrieked as they were crawling up to her pants. She quickly got them off of her body before they could reach her torso. Bulma didn't notice a mass of worms appearing behind her, taking shape.

It formed a figure that was half of their height; it formed a hand made of worms trying to reach the scientist but was met with a shot of energy from a laser rifle from Gudako.

Gudako kept firing until the abomination exploded into a mass of worms waddling away as far as they could from them. "Fuck worms, I hate those—Bleehgh! "

The orange-haired girl puked on the ground. Bulma hummed in agreement as she rubbed Gudako's back in comfort. Both widened their eyes when they heard footsteps coming from the entrance.

Bulma narrowed her eyes, pulled out something on her back, and threw it at what was once the front door when they saw a looming figure with weapons on its back entering the mansion.

The figure grabbed it and crushed it, which resulted in the room being enveloped in a flash of light.

Both Gudako and Bulma used this chance to run to the second floor of a mansion, locking the door and barricading it with everything available in the room.

"You know, this won't work right?" Gudako bluntly said.

"What choice do we even have!?" Bulma replied, pulling out her other rifle. "I am not dying in this shithole!"

The door busted open and both started firing at the figure, the figure didn't bother blocking them as he used the blunt side of his spear to smack the orange-haired girl away.

"Gahhh!"

"Kid!" Bulma cried out, she felt her rifle ripped away from her hands and saw the figure inspect it.

"I commend you for that tactic, but it was futile in the end." The Servant with the spear states, crushing the rifle in his hand effortlessly.

Bulma stepped back, but the man kept approaching her slowly as if like a predator playing with its prey before eating it.

"I-If my husband was here with me then y-you'd be sorry!" The scientist stood her ground which looked rather awkward given that her legs were shaking.

"Oh?" The man looked amused by her statement, "Are those your last words?"

Her stomach dropped, but she still remained steadfast and glared at him.

Gudako recovered slowly, raising her laser rifle and taking aim only to stumble, dropping the rifle as a result. "B-Bulma-sa…"

The man raised his spear, ready to stab her at the heart.

'Is this how I die? Getting stabbed by some weirdo? Screw that, I already died once against the evil Majin Buu by getting turned into chocolate and eaten. Thank you very much!'

Bulma's last thoughts were her children, Vegeta along with her friends.

'Alright you damn weirdo… bring it on!' Even though it was useless, Bulma still taunted the Servant to do it.

Gudako could only stare helplessly at the woman who helped her, ready to be executed by this Servant.

'Please… This isn't what I want to happen… Please, anyone…!"

'PLEASE SAVE HER/ME!'

In some miracle, their cries of help were heard as the circle which Bulma didn't notice that she was standing on glowed.

Two figures materialized, one in front of the spear-wielding Servant, and another in front of Gudako.

In front of Gudako was an old man with sunglasses in a Chinese martial arts uniform who made the first move, performing a series of punches and kicks on the enemy Servant, disorienting him.

"WHA—!?"

Followed by another individual with a male physique wielding a gauntlet on his right arm produced electricity on both hands and slammed them on the spear-wielding Servant, sending him flying.

"I have answered your call," The old man said. "Li Shuwen. Servant Assassin, I'll be under your care."

The man with the gauntlet stared at the blue-haired woman. "You there! Are you my Master?"

Bulma stared at him for a moment before letting out a sigh of relief as she hugged herself. "I don't know what's even happening but yes! Just get that weirdo away from me, please!"

"Very well." He turned around to the direction where he sent the enemy Servant flying.

"My name is Nikola Tesla, Servant of the Archer Class. Allow me to demonstrate my brilliance against the enemy Servant."

After bringing up that I want to try out writing FGO fics in a Discord server. Instead of the usual top names in Dragon Ball like how most people would generally pick the Saiyans so they can throw hands on Servants with no problem, I picked Bulma when a discussion about how her expertise can help Chaldea a lot with her getting along with Servants like Da Vinci, etc. This is the result.

Comments and criticisms are welcome.

Bye-bye.

"My name is Nikola Tesla, Servant of the Archer Class. Allow me to demonstrate my brilliance against the enemy Servant."
Well, the American singularity is going to be VERY interesting. I can already imagine the arguments and bitching back and fourth between Edison and Tesla now that he will be in the singularity from the start. Also he will probably help Bulma and DaVinci's efforts quite a lot, and really help with R&D.

Awesome intro.
Looking forward to more.

Man, can't wait till the meeting between Bulma and Da Vinci, where Vinci will have to admit that Bulma is the better scientist than her.

Let's remember people, Bulma discovered how to time travel (which could also count as a form of dimensional travel), a form of True Magic made possible through technology.

OK a Bulma being in F/GO on her own sounds genuinely interesting. Where did the Dragon Balls go though?

First Battle in the City of Flames
Bulma caught her breath as she helped Gudako up as the Servant, Nikola Tesla introduced himself and exited the room to engage the enemy Servant he knocked away with electricity, followed by Li Shuwen, who assisted him.

She has been in life-threatening situations more times than she could count, adding that she died getting turned into chocolate and eaten by the evil Buu years ago.

While almost getting stabbed by a spear-wielding weirdo is certainly scary to any ordinary person, the scientist is no ordinary person. After all, having friends, a husband, and a kid of her own who can shatter planets like toys is certainly part of everyday life.

Plus, she's always aiding her friends with whatever threat will attack Earth using her inventions.

Grabbing the laser rifle on the ground and handing it to Gudako, said girl gladly took it. Gudako's wrist brightened as a hologram of Romani appeared. "What's taking you two so long? Dear Director Olga is getting impatient."

"We just got ambushed by an enemy Servant!" Gudako replied as she heard a lot of noise in the mansion's living room. "Me and Bulma somehow summoned Servants and they're fighting off the guy with a spear right now."

"A Lancer-Class Servant then," Romani noted. "Seeing that having two Servants at your side means there shouldn't be a problem but please be—"

"FUJIMARU! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!?"

Another hologram appeared, revealing a woman with white hair and orange eyes who was angry at the orange-haired girl.

"D-Director Olga!"

"We've been waiting for you to regroup with us—who is that with you!?" The woman now named Olga pointed her index finger at Bulma.

"Well excuse us, we just got ambushed and I almost got killed!" Bulma glared at the screen, "I just got teleported in some ruined city I'm not familiar with and this is how I get treated!? At least the kid and the gentleman here is polite."

"I'll have you know that I can be polite myself! You're just some random civilian who somehow slipped into my organization and got dragged into this mess!" The woman on the screen yelled, her look of frustration shifting into a frown.

"Romani."

"Yes, Director?"

"You said that they summoned two Servants that are now fighting off the enemy."

"According to what they informed us, yes."

"That means that blue-haired civilian—"

"Hey!"

"—also has Command Seal aside from Miss Fujimaru here?" Ignoring Bulma's outburst, Olga continued.

"That would be the case, I suppose. Miss Bulma, right?" Romani turned his attention to the scientist who nodded. "May you do us a favor to confirm our suspicion? Just raise your hand towards us."

"That's it? Well if you say so…" Shrugging, Bulma lifted her hand revealing… "I don't remember going to a tattoo parlor— Oh you mean this thing printed on my hand you call a Command Seal?"

"Great!" On the digital screen, Olga threw her hands in the air. "Now we have three civilians who aren't even Magi having Command Seals, meanwhile I got nothing!"

"With that attitude of yours, you aren't getting any, especially with winning any guys over despite how beautiful you look." Bulma mocked the Director of Chaldea, grabbing a Hoi-Poi Capsule from her pockets, pressing a button and the smoke from it revealing a copy of the laser rifle Gudako had.

"Come on kid, let's help our new buddies outside." Reading her laser rifle, Bulma exited the room, leaving Gudako, Romani, and Olga stunned.

They continued to stare at Bulma's retreating form before finally leaving their site. It took a few seconds before Olga started fuming with anger at how casually this newcomer was talking about her love life.

"Did she…?" Both Gudako and Romani began.

"Insulted our dear Director with a straight face and lived to tell the tale? Yes, yes she did." A new voice finished for him.

"Was that you, Da Vinci!? Because I swear—!"

The communication suddenly shut down.

Gudako takes another look at where Bulma last left, still processing what she just witnessed as if it were the most glorious thing ever.

"I wonder if I can be as sassy as her," Gudako mumbled before following where Bulma went.

Luckily, Bulma didn't go as far away as she thought, said the scientist was currently hiding, and turned her body to the open door firing her laser rifle while the Servants in the ruined living room were engaged in battle.

The room is a complete mess. The ceiling is no more, with all the destroyed furniture from what was once a rich mansion scattered about.

Both readied their rifles and began firing, providing support to their Servants.

The Shadow Servant only growled in frustration as he had to deal with two Servants and their Masters and their strange rifles. "Annoying pest! Do you two have no honor!"

Without warning, the spearman launched himself at Bulma, only for Tesla to interfere once more with a blast of lightning, forcing the massive shadow to change course with an annoyed grunt. Pivoting on the ball of his foot, he used his other leg to kick off of a nearby wall and redirect his momentum to attack Gudako from the side.

The fist of Shuwen intercepted the blade heading for the poor redheaded girl's neck and with a shower of sparks the shadow was yet again forced to retreat. Bulma smirked nervously; it seemed this old man was cut off the same cloth as old man Roshi.

'Hopefully with a slightly better disposition towards women though' she thought drily.

Still, this was good. With a martial artist of that calibre and a blaster-type fighter like Tesla they should be fi—

A glint from the corner of her eye caught her attention and instincts kicked in as she whipped her arm out to protect the young girl. Sharp pain elicited a gasp of pain from Bulma as a dagger buried itself into her forearm, almost up to the hilt.

"Bulma-san!" Gudako cried out in worry.

'A throwing dagger!?' She realized in alarm as a sharp cackle seemed to come out from everywhere around them. "I'm fine, I had way worse than thi—Tsk!"

A second glint caught Bulma's attention from a different angle. Grabbing Gudako's collar, she dragged the girl to the side as another throwing dagger buried itself in the wall behind her, and another cackle permeated the area.

"A second one!?" Bulma yelled out in alarm as if this day just couldn't get any better!

An armored gauntlet blocked yet another swing of the halberd-wielding Shadow, pulling Bulma from her thoughts and forcing her to focus on the battle at hand.

"Focus, young lady!" The old man roared as he snapped a kick out and knocked another flying dagger to the side. The cackles echoed all around as this second foe seemed to toy with them.

"Assassi—No… Mister Shuwen," Tesla corrected, as gauntlet and spear clashed once more "Go take on the enemy Assassin and protect our Masters from harm, I shall deal with this Lancer."

"Very well, I wish you victory then." Li Shuwen replied. He began jumping from wall to wall until he kicked something in the shadows, revealing the enemy.

"Kekek… That won't work the next ti—" The figure didn't have enough time to react as his mask met with Li Shuwen's fist, violently sending him crashing down to the floor.

"Your opponent shall be me," Li Shuwen declared, adjusting his body and taking on a fighting stance.

Wiping out blood from his mouth, Shadow Assassin dashed forward. "Cocky bastard, let's see who is the best Assassin-Class Servant among us!"

Nikola Tesla growled in annoyance, dodging yet another swipe of the muscle-brained Shadow Servant, using his gauntlet to deliver a few thousand volts of glorious electricity to his opponent's side and eliciting a satisfying grunt.

He had to give it to the fool, he was quite durable indeed.

"Hey, Tesla, right?" His Master called out to him as he stepped around another increasingly wild swing.

"Yes Master, I am." He called back, firing another blast to get his foe to back off, "I am a bit occupied, however!"

"I just need to know if lightning is all you can do?" She called out and a tick of annoyance caused his face to twitch.

Lightning? LIGHTNING!? As if his glorious Alternating Current was something as wild and barbaric as lightning!

"Electricity!" He stressed, "Is indeed all I can manage at the moment, yes!" He wondered where the young lady was going with all of this.

"Good!" His Master smirked. It was not a nice smirk, Tesla decided there and then as he watched his Master hold up a rubber hose and the young girl accompanying his master turning some kind of knob.

Water sprayed from the hose and doused his opponent in a moment of distraction and Tesla's annoyance gave way to amazement. It was so simple, yet absolutely genius!

His opponent roared in frustration as he bolted for the two young women who dared soak him like that.

'A critical error has been made!' Tesla thought victoriously, charging his Voltaic gauntlet to its maximum output and slamming it into the puddle forming near him.

Electricity shrieked, and the Shadow screamed and spasmed violently as the addition of water negated whatever durability boost his class advantage gave him. Tesla laughed madly as he dashed over to his stunned foe and grabbed the man by the head with both hands and a titanic surge of energy ripped through the shadow's head. There was no scream, no real sound aside from an ear-splitting zap and the smell of burning flesh before the Shadow dropped to his knees and began to disintegrate into motes of light.

"That was an excellent display of tactics, Master!" He praised, his Master and the young girl approached him. Both clenched their fist and lightly tapped them with one another, the gesture the Holy Grail provided him when he was summoned to the modern era is called a fist bump.

His Master also raised her first towards him, gesturing for him to do it with her as well, and he gladly took it.

"I suppose we should only have to wait for Mister Shuwen to finish off the enemy Assassin." He said. the Archer-Class Servant narrowed his eyes as he felt bloodlust and— "Curses!"

Behind him, the Shadow Assassin appeared with his demonic-looking arm revealed to the world. Tesla calculated that he was aiming for his Master's heart.

"Human souls are insubstantial things. Writhe in agony!" The masked shadow shrieked out, grotesque arm unfolding and glowing a menacing red color as he reached for the blue-haired Master's chest.

"Zabaniya!" The stretched-out arm became closer and closer, her Master aimed her strange rifle at the Shadow Servant but it was too late… "Delusional Heartbea—"

…Until the Assassin's Noble Phantasm is intercepted by Li Shuwen's iron fists barrelling into the masked shadow's face, flinging him into a pile of rubble. Before the shadow could recover, the old man was on him, kicking his knees out from under him and slamming his elbow into the shadow's neck. With a loud snap, the shadow's head lolled to the side and the shadow collapsed to the ground.

Li Shuwen turned around to see his allies were able to finish off Lancer when a wave of killing intent alerted him from behind.

He spun around on his heel and backhanded the dagger out of his opponent's hand before stomping the ground and cratering the floor beneath him and his surprisingly sturdy opponent.

"If it is Death you wish for, then Death you shall have," Li Shuwen grunted, pulling both arms back and tensing up.

"There shall be no second strike. Wu Er Da!" He roared, snapping his hand forward in an open palm thrust and striking the shadow's chest with devastating force.

A wet crunch, followed by a massive shockwave filled the air as Li Shuwen could feel his opponent's insides liquefy from the force and expel through the various orifices as the wall behind the Shadow Assassin cracked and blew apart.

"Brutality!" The redhead cheered, and the blue-haired Master whistled as she finished wrapping bandages on her forearm.

Tesla could feel his Master's gaze locked into him, looking at him from top to bottom. "Is there something you need, Master?"

"Judging by your appearance and how you carry yourself, I assume you fashion yourself a scientist like myself then?"

"You have a good eye, indeed I am!" He bowed slightly, he then offered her a hand. "May I know the name of my Master, young lady?"

"Bulma, CEO of Capsule Corp." She took his hand and shook it.

"Master Bulma then," Tesla said with a smile, "I look forward to working with you from now on."

Bulma returned the smile, she let go of his hand and began walking in another direction with the young girl and her Servant following along, curious about what his Master was up to as he followed behind.

Arriving at the destination, he saw her crouched down in a damaged vehicle of a unique design, Bulma glanced at Tesla. "Oh, Tesla! Do you mind helping with repairing this bad boy? It got damaged when me and Gudako got ambushed before we summoned you two. Here, use this."

Pulling out a strange object in the shape of a capsule with a button on the top, pressed it with her thumb, and let it go and a small harmless explosion later revealed a set of tools.

"Interesting device…" Tesla cupped a chin, his Master certainly piqued his interest more and more. "What are these, Master?"

"They're Hoi-Poi Capsules," she answered, picking up a wrench from the toolbox. "My dad made and distributed them to make anything compact and easy to transport."

"Be it a car, a house, or anything that isn't a living being can be stored in them." she finished, grabbing another tool from the toolbox.

'This must be fate that I get to meet an intriguing Master.' The Archer-Class Servant mumbled as he began helping her with the repairs. Perhaps he should ask her for more details about these 'Hoi-Poi Capsules' when all this is over.

The group didn't take long to reach the destination mapped out from Bulma's GPS. The abandoned school had no hostiles in sight, Bulma drove closer and was greeted by the haughty woman, Olga, a teenager with black hair and blue eyes, wearing a male version of a uniform Gudako has, and a lilac-haired girl in a rather revealing black medieval-style armour with purple outlines and held a shield in hand, as it towered over her and everybody else.

Bulma wasn't surprised at the girl's attire. When she was 16, she had many outfits that revealed a lot of skin, and many more were still in her drawer.

The scientist parked her motorcycle, and Gudako got off to greet her brother and the lilac-haired girl, with Li Shuwen following her behind.

"Yo Big Bro and Kouhai!" Gudako called, tackling the girl with a large shield, Mash. Said the girl stumbled a little but returned the gesture. Her brother approached her joining in. Bulma let out a smile at the reunion.

"Hey Gudako, I'm glad you're okay." the black-haired boy, Ritsuka said.

"Senpai… Is that a gun?" Mash pointed out, the laser rifle at the redhead's hand.

"Oh, this?" Gudako raised the rifle a little as if showing it in front of a classroom. "I got it from Bulma-san here, it's pretty handy! Let me tell you the fun I had shooting down a bunch of monsters on our way here…"

As Gudako went on telling her tale, Bulma had other matters to do.

She pressed a button somewhere on the motorcycle as it returned to its Capsule form. Pocketing it, she approached them with Tesla manifesting beside her.

"Let's see here…" Pulling a case where she stores all her Capsules, she opened the case and counted that there were twelve total slots with eight currently available. "A garage, a house, an airplane, a clinic with medical supplies… Man, I forgot my dad always prepared me like these whenever I got out doing my own thing, especially when food was prepared."

Even now considered an adult with a husband and kids, her dad still bothers doing these for her to get prepared for whatever obstacles in her trips.

"Hey, Tesla," Bulma called, gaining the Archer's attention. "You should tell me more about whatever this whole Master and Servant thing—"

"YOU!"

Bulma and Tesla's conversation was interrupted by an angry Olga glaring daggers in their direction, Bulma specifically.

"You think you can get away with what you did back there?" The Director of Chaldea growled, her eyes twitching from embarrassment. Olga was ready to unleash her fury until Tesla interjected.

"If I may say something, young lady," Tesla said, "I suggest that we continue this chatter inside. Enemies could be lurking and waiting for the right moment to strike."

"He's right, you know." said a man with blue hair and robes, chiming in. "So you're an Archer? Don't see anything that can classify you as one, though. I'm Caster, Cu Chulainn of Ulster. Normally we Servants hide their identity but circumstances change everything."

He offered a hand which Tesla gladly took, letting out a heartful laugh. "So you say, Nikola Tesla, the genius. And the fellow there is mister Li Shuwen, an Assassin."

The old man perked up at his name being mentioned but nodded in acknowledgment.

Mash widened her eyes, gasping. "As in the man who brought forth modern electricity?"

"The guy that transformed what technology is now in the modern era?" concluded Ritsuka.

"Yes to both of those!" answered the Archer, Bulma playfully nudged him with a grin.

"You sure are famous, ain't 'cha?"

"Famous? I'm not just famous, Master. I am the one who pioneered the generation, transmission, and use of alternating-current electricity!" He boasts, clenching his gauntlet high up in the air.

"Why am I being ignored? Ok fine! I don't care anymore!" Olga deadpanned, sighing in defeat, stomping each step in frustration as she walked off.

Ritsuka, Gudako, Mash, and Cu watched her and turned to Bulma.

"What?"

"You kind of tease her a little too much, though." Gudako pointed out.

"Pretty sure calling that "teasing" isn't right," Ritsuka added.

"Umm… Bulma-san? You may have to apologize to her after all this is over." Mash requested, with her eyes saying that the scientist should insist.

"Since you asked nicely, then I'll consider it," Bulma responded, Mash smiled in response.

"I still need answers to whatever is going on here, and you're the ones who could explain it to me." She sighed and looked up, the smoke and ash of this burning city kept getting darker and darker.

'I just hope this whole thing isn't gonna end up like my future son's timeline getting erased…' She mumbled to herself as she joined the group in the building.

So uhhhh... As for why this took a month to post. I had school and it's been packed for me and I rarely get any chances of free time to write this until now. Let me know is there any to point out in the chapter and I'll try my best to fix those or expand on them.

Comments and criticisms are welcome.

Preparations New
Beta'd by someone on Discord, props to him!

Everyone got comfortable on the rooftop to take a break. Ritsuka recounted how he, Mash, and Director Olga had to fight through monsters and a Rider-Class Servant, along with allying with Cu of the school building as their temporary hideout. Romani had briefed that Chaldea had lost 80% of its members, with the doctor temporarily taking over command, and all the 20% remaining staff to work on everything functional.

All the Master candidates weren't so unfortunate, all of them have been put into cryogenic sleep and will be put into a coma until further medical assistance is available.

"Dammit… This is worse than I thought," Olga cursed under her breath.

"With your permission, Director," Romani said on the holographic screen at the Chaldea Command Center. "I'd like to become acting director of Chaldea until you are back here safe. I have shifted all available manpower to repairing the Rayshift System, and maintaining CHALDEAS' and SHEBA's current states."

"As soon as external communications are back up, we'll request supplies and start rebuilding Chaldea."
He continued.

"Permission granted, while you're there with the remaining staff repairing the Rayshift System and everything else, we shall be here to investigate solving this Singularity." Olga declared.

"On account of the lack of supplies and expertise, we'll be going blind on this operation to find the main cause of this singularity." Bulma, with her forearm healed thanks to Cu offering it, perked up what Olga stated.

"Director… Since when did you become brave and reliable?" Romani blurted out. Ritsuka and Gudako held back their laughter at the poor doctor.

"...I'll have both of your heads if you all don't shut up." She threatened with a scowl, causing both the doctor and the Fujimaru siblings to flinch a little.

"Supplies, you say? What kind?" Bulma asks. Olga, out of the corner of her eye, sees her pulling the case she carries with her. "I think I can provide that."

"As in supplies all Magus needed for this operation, I suppose." The Chaldea Director answered, cupping her chin. "Perhaps navigation without us just going around aimlessly would be beneficial."

"I think I can help with navigation. Make room, people!" Bulma called out, observing the space available on the highest floor of the school building. Seeing that there was enough space for it, she pulled out a capsule from the case. Olga was not amused at what she was doing before she could speak about it. Bulma threw the capsule a few meters away from them.

A big puff of smoke bursts from the capsule, and in its place is a structure resembling a small warehouse.

"A-A warehouse is inside of that capsule!?" Olga gapped, clearly shocked at the display. "Is this some sort of Magecraft I haven't heard up?"

"No, it is simply technological advancement!" Tesla corrected, gingerly joining his Master at her side.

Bulma pressed the button, and the warehouse door opened. Everyone gathered around to see what was inside. Inside were various pieces of equipment, several advanced techs lying around, and cables and wires attached to a generator that powered the warehouse.

"If we're gonna have to find the thing you want to solve then building a drone to find a route to this maze of a burning city would be beneficial, yes?" Bulma declared, slamming her hand on a nearby workbench. "I think some weapons that could help us aid our buddies here besides this laser rifle I have."

Olga scoffs, "Oh, please. Even though I am amazed at your technology, it won't cut it since conventional weapons can't affect Servants."

"She is correct, Master," Tesla said, grabbing the laser rifle and holding it for them to see. "Any weaponry or firearms cannot harm us Servants for we are spiritual beings."

"However, I can enhance this rifle and imbue it with mystery or magical properties in my Master's case, it can harm and do damage to any Servants without issue." He clarified, looking around the various materials in the warehouse. "With this warehouse, I think I have more than enough materials to help provide weapons for the Masters to use to support us against the enemy."

Bulma looked perplexed but nodded in understanding. "So it's a magic that must be defeated with a magic scenario then?"

"Basically, yeah." Cu chimed in, crossing his arms. "It is practically suicide trying to fight a Servant with just mundane weapons without any enhancement to back it up."

"Director Olga," Romani from the holographic screen interjects into the conversation.

"What is it?" Olga asks.

"The FATE System should be functional now. We could summon either one or two more Servants to aid you on this Singularity courtesy of Ritsuka here," Romani informed, and the black-haired teen perked up.

"And what is this FATE System exactly?" Bulma asked, simultaneously voicing both the Fujumaru siblings' questions as well. "You guys still haven't explained this whole thing about Master and Servant stuff to me."

"Fine, I'll explain it to you. Listen carefully, I'm gonna explain it to you this once and never repeat it to you. You two as well, Fujimaru." Olga looked at the siblings with her eyes narrowed.

"Which one?" Ritsuka lazily pointed at himself.

"Yeah, me or my brother?" Gudako chimed in.

The director of Chaldea massaged her forehead, "You all seriously want to annoy me this bad… it's the both of you!"

Both siblings rubbed the back of their heads sheepishly, Bulma watched nearby in amusement.

Olga then began to explain, starting with the history of Chaldea and its mission to prevent the extinction of the human race by specializing in handling temporal anomalies and existential threats to humanity.

"CHALDEAS, a device based on an Earth model to observe the future." She explained, Bulma raised an eyebrow at that. "LAPLACE, we use it to compile records from the past. You could say that its job is to gather data on history that wasn't made public and information buried in obscurity."

The next topic was the discussion was the FATE System, a summoning system and the third invention Chaldea used or was at least intending to use, since it had never been consistent until this very moment, only achieving the summoning of 3 Servants throughout Chaldea's history.

Last but not least is the topic of Servants, Masters, and the Holy Grail War.

"So let me get this straight," Bulma began, processing each piece of information she was given. "Servants are heroes from legends who ascended to this place called the Throne of Heroes and were summoned by Magi people to participate in an all-out war called the Holy Grail War with the winner having a chance to get a single wish."

"Correct, and according to the data on LAPLACE, we have Rayshifted back in in the year 2004 on this city where the 5th Holy Grail War took place," Olga stated.

Bulma raised an eyebrow, a look of familiarity. "So you're saying that we time-traveled in the past?"

"That's right, Bulma-san." Mash said, "We simply have to find the cause of this Singularity and it'll fix itself once it's done. We'll return to Chaldea shortly after."

Bulma crossed her arms, a look of doubt was present on her face. "Just that? There's no possibility that you'll just make a whole new timeline where this didn't happen?"

"No, none of that. You seem to have experience with this type of scenario?" She asked, Bulma let out a sigh.

"A story for another time," She dismissed her question. In her mind, she was panicking mentally.

'Great! First day in some burning city I had no clue of and I got involved in time travel shenanigans! I hope Lord Beerus won't skin me alive when I get back…' She said in her mind. "Wait… Did she say the year is 2004? Questions for later then..."

"Mash, come closer here for a moment," Olga ordered and Mash complied, Olda put a hand on her shield. "Since Mash has successfully been fused with a Servant thus making her a Demi-Servant, it would appear that her shield can be used as a catalyst capable of stabilizing the summoning process."

Olga instructed the Demi-Servant to place her shield on the ground. The group turned their heads to Mash's shield, which emitted a blue light. The center of the shield was the source of the light.

"As such, we cannot allow this opportunity to be wasted," She eyed Tesla and Li Shuwen, "Ritsuka Fujimaru will be the only one doing the summoning process since these two already summoned Servants of their own."

"Ritsuka," The boy turned his attention to Romani on the holographic screen called. "I'll be providing you with some Saint Quartz back here; they are a large concentration of magic energy used as fuel for this system."

Several rainbow-colored star-shaped diamonds appeared on top of the shield. Bulma walked towards the shield and grabbed one to inspect it. "#18 would kill to sell these off with how expensive they look."

"Who's that?" Ritsuka asked.

"Eh, it's a family friend obsessed with improving her family's financial situation even though they're doing great," Bulma answered, handing the Saint Quartz to Ritsuka.

"Relatable." Both Ritsuka and Gudako said in unison, accepting it.

"I trust you all will be able to get back here safely. I'll be ending the communication now. Good luck out there." With that, the doctor ends the communication.

"Now that's done," Olga said, glancing at Ritsuka and Mash. "Let's perform the ritual outside the warehouse. Wouldn't want to disturb their work."

Both of them nodded, collecting all the Saint Quartz with Gudako helping along.

"I'll keep guard with them in the meantime," Li Shuwen said, following the group retreating from the warehouse. Only leaving Cu, Tesla, and his Master behind.

Cu was about to follow them but Tesla stopped him.

"Caster," Tesla called, Cu glanced at him in confusion. "We may need your runes to further the drone we are in the process of making. Say, do you know any runes that can avoid detection from Servants?"

Cu gave him a confident smirk, "Sure, I know a thing or two."

"Excellent!"

With that, the two geniuses and a Caster began working on and developing the drone, as well as modifying the rifles.

Later

"So, we have to follow the readings?" Bulma asked Tesla. The Servant was currently piloting the newly constructed drone in the dark skies of the burning city. A video feed through the monitor showed that, thanks to the wireless connection installed, the drone was far away from its current location.

He simply nodded in confirmation. The Servant was silent, only focusing on the task at hand.

Bulma watched the visuals as she tapped the monitor, deep in thought. Her fingers tapped on the glass surface of the screen in a rhythmic motion as she pondered about the situation.

She didn't know how much time had passed, but she knew it wasn't much since the time they finished building the drone and had it remotely roam the city.

The drone flew past the city and approached the forest where the sensors picked up.

Tesla zoomed the drone's camera to get a better look, on the screen was a ruined castle.

Cu narrowed his eyes, leaning forward to the screen displaying the castle. Bulma glanced at him. "Something wrong?"

"Maybe," He answered, frowning. "A big one at that, I can't see the big fella who rarely leaves his spot. Probably inside of that castle, best we ignore him. He won't cause us any problems if we don't disturb him."

"And that is?"

Before he could answer, someone interrupted what he was about to say.

"Berserker." The voice, which for some reason is the same as Cu's, said suddenly. "His True Name is Heracles, one heck of a Servant to fight against."

Bulma and Tesla stared at Cu, who shook his head. "I didn't say that."

"That would be me!" They turned around to see the group and... Cu? He has the same face and hair but wears an entirely different outfit, a deep blue jumpsuit covered with gray metallic pauldrons, and a metal plate over his lowest abdominal section.

In his hand was a blood-red spear.

"Lancer-class Servant, Cu Chulainn at your service!" He introduced, his eyes trailing towards his counterpart. "So… This is how I looked as a Caster?"

Cu Chulainn, the Caster, looked flabbergasted. Behind the Lancer was Ritsuka, "We had the same reaction as you when he appeared."

Lancer Cu walked towards his Caster counterpart, nudging him a little. "I hope you still lived up to our legend even though you're a spearless me."

Caster Cu finally came out of his shocked state and flashed him a cocky grin. "I think I held out just fine, though sometimes I'm completely outclassed. Say, wanna settle a score with a certain red Archer?"

"That bastard is here? You bet!" He exclaimed, a toothy grin appeared on his face in anticipation.

"They… Get along rather quickly." Mash commented.

The monitor beeped, prompting everyone to look at the screen. The drone was picking up something, Caster Cu stepped forward to examine it more closely.

"Guide your drone there. There should be a cave underneath that temple," Caster Cu instructed, pointing at the huge temple on the mountain on the screen. Tesla followed the Caster's directions and flew the drone towards the location, navigating through the forest and terrain. It eventually found an entrance to a huge cavern lit by a violet glow.

"Is there anything about this?" Bulma glanced at Caster Cu for answers, and he stared at the screen for a moment.

"The source of this Singularity you are talking about? That would be the Greater Grail Saber currently guarding it." The mage stated, he glanced at Bulma and the Fujimaru siblings and decided that he should clarify it further. "That would be the 'core' of this Holy Grail War I participate before hell broke loose."

"Since we have dealt with Rider, Lancer, and Assassin." He glanced at Tesla and Li Shuwen. "Saber, Archer, and Berserker should the be ones remaining."

Li Shuwen raised his hand.

"If I may ask a question." He asked, stepping forward. "Cu Chulainn, the Lancer, you seem to have prior knowledge about the Berserker, Heracles, yes? Can you share with us what you know what does his Noble Phantasm function?"

"God Hand," Lancer Cu answered. "That giant stone of a bastard can revive up to 12 times and gain resistance to what killed him, so essentially we have to kill him with different kinds of attacks until he's on his last legs."

"Is that so?" His Caster counterpart rubbed his chin and thought, "I suppose we are fortunate that we only have to kill him at least 5-6 times. Half of his lives got taken out by other Servants before he got corrupted by Saber thankfully. Though, we still need to be careful."

Li Shuwen nodded at his fellow Servant's warning, satisfied with this newfound info.

"Alright, we got the coordinates," Bulma said suddenly, she showed them the GPS she held in her hand. "Tesla now's the time to retreat the drone."

"Very well," The father of electricity replied. Thanks to Caster Cu's runes, the drone returned to them without much damage. "Master, shall I leave the drone in the warehouse?"

"Yeah, do that and let the Capsules do all the magic," Bulma said, she walked towards another table, and on it were the modified and enhanced laser rifles. "Gudako, Ritsuka! The enhancements are done, they should function better than ever."

Gudako almost ran towards the table and eagerly grabbed one, followed by her brother.

"Huh? We have one more, did you make one in case?" He asks,"

"Oh, they are for your director. Catch!" She tossed the extra laser rifle toward Olga who caught it clumsily.

"Wha… W-Why would I need one!?" Olga yelled out, glaring daggers at Bulma. "I don't need it!"

"You need it." The scientist countered, giving her a blank look. "In case your magic is ineffective, these guns are an alternative."

"It's Magecraft!" She corrected angrily.

"Magic, Magecraft. Whatever, it's all the same." Bulma rolled her eyes. Everyone exited the warehouse as the blue-haired woman walked toward the back of it. She put her hand on it, and the warehouse was engulfed in a puff of smoke. This revealed that the warehouse had turned back into a Capsule in mid-air. Bulma swiftly grabbed the capsule and placed it into her case of Capsules.

"So… Everyone ready to head out?"

"Yeah," Caster said. "The sooner we get this done, the better right?"

With that, the group then walked out of the school building.

Olga was busy inspecting the laser rifle she held, "Stupid scientist, why would I need this piece of junk!"

Due to her inexperience with holding a rifle, much less a futuristic one, she failed to follow basic rules of gun safety procedures, as her finger pressed the trigger. Olga recoiled as a large beam erupted from the rifle, everyone could only stare as it traveled to a building that was once the school's swimming pool.

The moment it hits, the water reacts violently. A brilliant explosion bursts, sending shockwaves through the entire pool. The water around the impact point churns in a violent frenzy as if the very essence of the pool is being ripped apart.

Everyone stared at the large pillar of water rising from the explosion. Then, they turned their heads towards Olga who had dropped the laser rifle on the ground.

Both Lancer and Caster Cus whistled at the firepower.

Ritsuka looked astonished and terrified at the same time.

Gudako looked at her rifle and then at the explosion. Li Shuwen looked at his Master with concern that she would do something reckless.

Tesla on the other hand…

"Hahahaha!" He laughed somewhat crazily, a look of satisfaction was present on his face. "These are the fruits of me and my Master's efforts! Truly I get to be paired with the most interesting Master!"

Olga turned around to see Bulma walking towards her, looking at the now-destroyed swimming pool and then at her.

"I'm impressed, you managed to create an explosion bigger than what I demonstrated to an old friend back when I was 5 years old." She praised simply, clapping her hands.

Olga's response was only looking at Bulma with her jaw open wide, shakingly pointing her finger at the destruction she caused.

"I-IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN SOMETHING!? I COULD HAVE DIED!"

I think it's time for me to start making schedules for writing sessions so I can write fanfics more consistently as I started writing this chapter on December 20, 2024, yeah laziness does that to you and it's a pain. As usual, do comment on something that is rather inconsistent or anything, it will be appreciated and I'll do my best!

Comments and criticisms are welcome!

Bye-bye!

I can't wait for Bulma to half-ass a few stories and accidentally convince everyone she knows Sun Wukong.
The real fun will be when she meets Caster Sanzang and they compare notes.
I'm not sure which of them will be weirded out more (probably Sanzang given Bulma actively dated her Sha Wujing equivalent at one point).

Could be worse. She could've dated her version of Pigsy.

Come to think of it, who does Vegeta count as? Maybe the Six-Eared Macaque?

Not really an equivalent, the Dragonball = Journey to the West parallels only really apply to the OG Dragonball, primarily the Search For the Dragonballs/Emperor Pilaf saga although there's bits and pieces as late as the King Piccolo Saga (e.g., Tienshinan = Erlang Shen).

Only real Journey to the West bits that postdate the shift to Z that I'm aware of are Goku's spacepod as the Stone Egg and Brolly being made out a pile of narrative parts from Son Wukong that didn't go into Goku.

Technically there are still SOME traces in early Z. Specifically that there are originally only 4 Saiyans left to parallel the 4 celestial monkeys.

By that logic, Raditz would be the Six Earred Macaque due to his being Goku's brother loosely paralleling it pretending to be Sun, and Vegeta and Nappa would be the other two.

fantastic, a Bulma fic; I love her but I see few fics about her.
On top of that I summon Tesla, great; It would be nice if all his invocations are other scientists who are on his par (or some others who remember Goku or Vegeta, you know because of the similarity of Morphic resonance xD)
