Current tally, and like always the vote will last three days or so unless there is a decisive vote lead. And judging by how close the votes are the only decisive vote is buying the perk Live day by day.

I can tell this is going to be a rather close vote.

No. We are so close to bringing a witness with us when we go to our locker. Taylor, more than anything, wants someone on her side for once. Just punching her in the face will accomplish absolutely nothing, and just lead to more annoying angst when Emma has her dad sue Taylor or something.

Punching her in the face, while Cathartic, will likely get Taylor suspended, if not charged with assault, and I'm not going to go for a social attack unless someone has a good write in, not with Taylor's social stats being 1.

As for Perks, Alchemy seems like it would be the most immediately useful; I'm not sure of the limits, but any sort of ability to transmute materials means that Taylor doesn't need to source things from electronics shops and junkyards. Gets her a device quicker, and that means she can go out and grind XP quicker.
 
Alchemy at level one would allow you to shape objects anyway you want but to a limit. Like a ball the size of your hand. It wont allow you to completely transmute an object into a different object yet. Like you wont be turning lead to gold any time soon.

It would allow you to clear rust from steel, merge similar objects together and that sort of thing though. Like merging rose quart and rose quart together to make a bigger rose quart. With the size and mass limit though.

At least, that's what I decided.

Not quite as useful as I had hoped then. Still, at least useful for converting scrap and garbage into more useful things.
 
Btw, I'm starting to get sick, or at least I think I am.

Because it sure as hell feels like it.

Surprised it only took three weeks since starting this quest this time. I think I got sick within the first week when I started the previous happy quest.

Think the universe is trying to say something. Like fuck you, Taylor needs to suffer!

At least I'm not bad enough yet to where I wouldn't be able to write again.

Do none of the people voting to punch Emma in the face realize just how badly doing so will hurt Taylor's credibility? Or do they just not care and only want to go the easy bit of payback?

I was under the impression that it's an open secret, with the only reason it's "hidden" being that no one's willing to get Sophia in trouble. The problem isn't that we lack credibility, it's that we lack backing.

Pretty much this. No one to protect her, no one to help her, she's very much alone save for her dad who has no real power in the system she's having issues with.

And I reiterate: And people wanted Taylor to be normal.

I'm kind of surprised people missed the issue that "normal" for Taylor, fucking sucks.

Including myself I admit, although I still voted for 10 yr. old for other reasons. I wanted to give her a clean break but kind of hadn't thought of the specifics for some odd reason. *Shrug* Anyway, I'll stop bringing this up so whatever.

Edit: What do we know about Emma we could use to verbally rip her apart come to think of it? I want this to scar if we're doing it.

Being seen punching her in public would only put her in an even better position.

And for sick burns, our social skill is 1, while Emma is a social spec.
