It makes my heart happy that someone caught the second Easter Egg I've left lying around and said something about it. You, sir, get a cookie. Or, perhaps a Meow in this case.
Alright, I removed Grammarly, sadly, and it appears to have been the issue for why I couldn't load the site on Chrome. I kept Grammarly on my PC but removed it from Chrome.

As you walk along the path and into the jungle, you examine the spear that you had picked up. Your fingers run along the shaft of the polearm, feeling the wear of the wood, and the carvings upon the weapon. The blade is in surprisingly good shape, and it rests in its sheath.
You are not entirely sure as to what wood the shaft is made out of, nor which metal the blade is made of. As you examine the shaft, you find what appears to be runes, or perhaps it is an incantation?
You stop in your tracks, starting to mouth the words and attempting to string them together.
"Forma...autium...bravis…." You mutter. Nothing happens. You squint your eyes at it as if that's going to help you say it. You try again. "Firma auitiyum barvis."
What you said sounds nothing at all like a spell, and as you had expected, yet again nothing happens. You sigh, holding onto the shaft with your off-hand, which is your right, and use it as a walking staff. The blunt end of the spear also has a metal cover, which you note the use of so that the wood wouldn't splinter.
After some thought, you come to the conclusion that this weapon is likely enchanted in more ways than one, and could be very valuable. You get the idea that it may be worth having a weapons expert check it out to see exactly what all they could learn about it, as well as an enchanter, to help you learn what all else this spear has in store for you.
As your thoughts dwell upon magic, you raise your left hand towards your face, stretching it out before you. It has crossed your mind that in your state of undeath you may have gained unnatural abilities. It also occurs to you that even while you were alive you may have possessed magical abilities.
And so you take a breath, and you raise your thumb to your palm while extending out your arm. You think of fire, and smoke. The amazing abilities which it can harness. The power to cook, and to cauterize. As well as the capability of destruction.
Suddenly, smoke emits from your arm as it starts to smolder. Flames surround your hand and your arm, and for but a mere moment you feel panic strike through your body before you realize that you are not burning. You are not in complete control of the flames, but you know how to channel them now. A smile comes to your lips. There are many ways you could utilize the power of flames.
And yet, you know that there is something more. You feel darkness as if the shadows themselves call to you. As the embers and smoke of flames leave the air, you focus upon the darkness. The hatred within you for the man who had slain you. You look upon your arm as a living tendril of darkness and shadow wraps around the limb, wafts of black smoke emanating from it. You can feel that the end of the tendril would be capable of impaling something were you to need to.
And despite the channeling of hatred to summon this rather dark power, you somehow feel that it was a gift of your state and would have no true impact upon your being for using this ability to further yourself in combat.
You feel that perhaps there is more to the world of magic and these dark arts that could be at your disposal as you go. There are certainly those who could teach you further, even amongst the living. You recompose yourself and refix the remnants of the flag so that it covers the lower half of your face as well as the chained scarring upon your neck. You also quickly tear away the scorpion emblem upon it and place the fabric into your satchel. Perhaps it would be best to hide away that which could identify you as an ally of someone you would rather not be an ally of.
You continue to follow along with the path in the jungle, wide enough for even a convoy to trek through. The remnants of their tracks only become less easy to follow. You find yourself down on one knee further examining the trail several times. And each time, you notice tracks which are fresher and some which cause alarm.
Such as the one you are currently examining, which is large enough that your entire body could fit into it. It looks to be tri-toed, with the end of the toes having claws. And it's not old. However, it does appear to have been going to direction opposite of you, so perhaps you had lucked out on encountering this large creature.
You further examine the path, catching the fading tracks of the convoy once more. And, once more you stand and begin to follow them. In short order, you come across a crossroads. There are not one, but five branching paths laid before you. And upon refreshing your knowledge of the ground, too many tracks for you to truly take a guess as to which one where the convoys.
Fuck.
Fortunately for you, however, it appears that in life you had learned at least how to read. Attached to a tree is a sign, pointing in the directions of the paths. One of which says the name of a town which doesn't bear any recognition with you. Lyft. You try to read the other signs, though they're either too faded or too damaged to read. How inconvenient.
Due to the circumstances, you take the path leading towards Lyft. You know not how far it is, nor how large this settlement is meant to be. What you ultimately know is that this place is your only lead. And the first start of your test. Blending in with the living.
As you walk along the trail, you feel a distant trembling of the ground beneath your feet. At first, you dismiss it as nothing. Although, you quickly realize that which you feel is not distant trembles, but near footsteps.
You dash into the trees, hiding in the foliage. A roar echoes out from down the path, as you catch a glimpse of the creature.
It stood tall upon two massive legs, snout down to the ground drawing scent into the large nostrils of the reptilian hide. Large, tawny eyes reflected the light from the sun as the beast rose from it's crouched position. Two, small arms jet out from the massive creature's torso. The left arm was seemingly missing a clawed finger, based upon the appearance of the right arm which had two clawed fingers upon its arm. The overall mass of the body was parallel towards the ground, with a large tail from behind the beast. You had taken the accurate guess that the tail was meant to balance the beast.
Its skin was a tan shade similar to the very sand of the beach you had to awaken from. You had gotten as low to the ground as you possibly could, and as far into the shadows as possible. You had stopped your beating heart, as well as paused your breath. Perhaps, if you were a more skilled warrior or deadly mage, this beast would be of no concern to you.
But this is not that situation. The animal then lowered itself to the ground, opening the strong and powerful jaws as a loud roar emanated from the beasts' lungs. Your hands instinctively jetted to your ears and covered them.
The animal's mouth shut, and it's head tilted in a curious fashion. You could see the eye's gaze shift towards you. And then it took a step in your direction, the very ground beneath it shuddering at its presence. The King was here, and you were his chosen prey.
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
And as such, you do the intelligent thing. You get off of your ass and book it in the opposite direction.
[X] Through the jungle itself. You're smaller and quicker, you can avoid trees easier while this being will have to face them.
That is a freaking T-Rex! We dive someplace safe and wait the beastie out!
Just as a heads up the next update will be the last Prologue Update. This means that the updates will typically be longer, involve more choices, as well as allowing side quests and Soul Purity modifiers.
I'll leave this current vote open for maybe an hour or two longer, feeling kinda antsy about writing today.
[X] Constantly make up something new every single time. It's more fun this way.

Alright, I'm closing the vote!!! Our winner shall be to run through the jungle. I'll be working on this update as well as a map so expect it either later tonight or sometime tomorrow.
I also changed the name of the quest to something better suited.
