Kirito moved at a blinding speed and jumped into the air he was just about to kill his opponent when a man who had a gun for a hand forced him to twist himself and miss his target.
He had barely avoided being filled with holes but he was now on the receiving end of the blond guy's giant sword.
He could only watch as the sword came down so he used both of his swords and prepared himself to receive the attack, but it never came.
He opened his eyes, he didn't know when he had closed them only that he had heard the sound of metal hitting metal.
He let out a loud Huff when he finally hit the ground and as he focused back on the people who he had been fighting he noticed that they weren't alone anymore.
There was a guy with long silver hair and a giant white wing flying in the sky, just beneath him was the blond gut who he had been fighting moments earlier.
The sounds of several explosions made him turn his head and he found Asuna who was fighting against a woman with long blond hair that seemed as if it was on fire.
Next to them was a wolf fighting some sort of strange animal, while a woman who looked like an elf fired spells at the man who had used his gun hand to attack him.
"Daddy!" Kirito heard Yui call to him and he quickly looked back and told her to stay away, but then he noticed that she wasn't alone there were two other boys with her and there was also a little girl.
"Yui, take your friends to the house and wait for us there." he ordered his daughter who lowered her head and obeyed him.
He watched as Yui pulled the other kids and made them follow her even though they didn't want to do it.
"Simulation terminated." he heard Yui say before the world around them began to break, and he was left standing in an empty black void.
Yui materialized in front of him and smiled playfully at him.
People had stopped using the Nerve Gear since the Death Game and while it was still a successful game system, it had things like GunGale Oline and ALfheim Online.
It had gained a reputation that followed it through the years.
The only ones who were willing to use the system were people who didn't care about the risks and just wanted to escape reality, meaning teenagers who didn't fit in or adults who either had problems at home or work.
The other group were kids whose parents didn't believe the stories or thought that enough time had passed so the chances that another death game would happen were almost nonexistent.
"What happened?" he asks Yui.
"There was a bug." Yui answers him as the scene from before replays around them and Yui points at several figures that are nothing but black blobs.
The world moves closer to them but, they are exactly what they look like blobs made out of black material.
"What are they?' he asks Yui.
"Discarded code."
"You know how games are updated from time to time, and some code is left behind. That's them, but they are different."
Kirito doesn't say anything as he watches Yui touch one of the blobs and it separates into thousands of characters.
She does the same to the other two and they separate into places and even weapons, but none of them look complete.
"I can fix them, you know use them as background characters and weapons, as for the locations. I think that I can squeeze them somewhere." Yui says to him.
Kirito wants to tell her that it's better that they just get rid of them, but it's not the first time that they run into this problem and the last time they did that, they ended up destroying not just the games, but all progress they had made.
"Alright let's do this again, tomorrow we announce what we created to everyone."
He says to Yui, they had been working on this for months, they had taken several old games and put them into the internet by using one of the nerve gears' hidden world-building systems.
They weren't the first ones to do something like this, unlike everyone else who just wanted to re-experience their old games but in a new way.
He and Yui had decided that they would mix all of the games and use Sword Art Online's system so that they could use the weapons, and skills from all of the other games without any problems.
Unfortunately, that meant that everyone who entered their chaotic world would have to step back into the flying castle, but that was a small price to pay.
"I have to go now Yui are you sure that you can handle the rest?' he asks his daughter who smiles and nods at him.
Yui stopped working and noticed that a familiar figure was standing behind her, it was her creator, the man who had trapped the players in the death game and then killed himself before the police could get to him.
She watched as the madman looked over her work before patting her on the head.
"What are you doing?" she asks her creator.
The man ignored her and made several screens appear in front of her. Yui could only watch in horror as she watched him merge several other game worlds into her and her daddy's creation.
The madman had made her, meaning that she couldn't do anything against him, no matter how hard she tried.
She watched with cold dread as the madman created something that shouldn't have been possible.
The moment Kirito turned on his headset again, all of the people who were still using the nerve gear would be brought into this new game world.
That wasn't what frightened her, after all the players had managed to escape before, but this time it was completely different because........

The City of Midgard began to shake before its many floors were forcefully torn off and pulled into the air.
The people in the city tried to run but the walls around stopped them, so they were forced to slam their fists on the metal and stone walls as the city around them broke apart.
When the world around them stopped shaking they turned and cautiously walked closer to the edge of the city and found several strange ships fighting with each other.
Some ships barely looked like anything that matched so everyone that looked at them knew that they belonged to different groups.
Next to them were giant machines fighting what looked like monsters, but that wasn't where it stopped.
Knights that rode strange four-legged bets charged at what could only be called tanks, and next to them armed soldiers fired at monsters, who were fighting golems, who were fighting robots.
No one could say anything and could only tremble in fear when they noticed that a giant that seemed to cover the sky raised his hand and summoned lighting.
The giant was forced to stop its attack when a dragon crashed into it.
The two monsters covered the sun's light as they fought one another.
Throughout the entire world, these same events were happening, no one knew what was happening only and chaos had taken over.
Some began to pray, some killed themselves, while those who were either brave or stupid enough to try their luck, picked up whatever they could and prepared themselves to fight for their lives.

Jaune opened his eyes she felt so tired he could hear the sounds of his little sisters crying next to him.
he could only look at the wall that was just above the people in front of him, the Grimm had attacked the city while the earthquake happened, but they weren't alone other things joined the invasion.
The Huntsmen had tried to defend the city, but in the end, they were overwhelmed and Vale was destroyed.
The only reason that anyone survived, was because the monsters were fighting each other just as much as they were trying to kill everyone.
"Hey it's time to move." he hears his dad say to him and Jaune realizes that the people around him have started to move.
"What's this?" he asks his dad, while he points at what looks like a floating blue horror.
The hologram wasn't anything special, it was just a blue screen, but Jaune had failed to notice when it had appeared.
"I don't know they just showed up and the red ones seem to be the monsters, the blue ones are us and the green ones are.
Well, I still haven't figured that out yet." his dad said to him before the screen in front of them changed and what looked like a map appeared in front of them.
"That's where we are going, like it or not it's the only place that has the title of safe zone." his dad says to him.
Jaune looks at the map and can't help but frown, the safe zone doesn't look very safe because they would have to travel from one side of the kingdom to the other and the chances of them making it alive were.
Oh hell, he wasn't going to lie to himself it was impossible.
The screen changed again and the words used the teleportation crystals to get to the safe zone appeared.
Jaune watched as a blue ball of light came out of the screen, he watched with wide eyes as the light began to harden, and he watched with wide eyes as a crystal material in front of him.
Jaune turned and saw that the rest of his family was now holding similar crystals.
'We're leaving." his dad said to him and everyone else.
"What about them?" Jaune asks his dad, while he points at the people were angrily throwing the crystals away.
"You, your mom, and your sisters are what's most important to me, and someone is trying to help us."
"The way I see it is we take our chances here and try to find someplace safe while avoiding the monsters, or we can take our chances with whoever sent these things." his dad answers him.
Jaune nods, he turns and sees that his mom and sisters begin to glow, and then they vanish in a burst of blue light, he follows their example and squeezes the crystal.
The help screen didn't say how to activate the crystal, so he did the only thing he could, so he squeezed it.
The crystal begins to glow and Jaune sees his hand turning into blue light, he looks up and sees that his dad is turning into blue light.
Before he can say anything he finds himself standing in a ton that is overflowing with people.
