Welcome to SuperQuest! SV will be taking on the role of a horribly broken superpowered...
Most powers cap out at a certain point – even the ones listed above, as strong as they are, go only so far. Except, with this perk, they just keep on getting stronger. Every year, your powers increase in strength by a significant margin. For the Eidolon, this means you can choose between increasing the cap on your available powers or your slots. For the Power Manipulator and Inspired Inventor, this means you gain an extra charge every day. For all other powers, you simply get stronger by a noticeable margin.
If you are involved in constant minor or infrequent major conflict, this interval is reduced to 9 months. If you are involved in constant major conflict, this interval is reduced to 6 months.
Your powers start out twice as effective as a one-time boost.
That math is a tad off. It's actually 5x210 which is still potentially ginormous, but a bit more reasonable. A lot more reasonable, actually. It comes out to 1024, which is unreasonably high, but I don't think this setup is designed to last 5 years, which is the minimum needed to get that high. instead of 1 1/2 years to get 5000 which is the way your math would've had it.
I would prefer someone with just this power to the single companion you had listed. Or even the other partner in the Bodyguard Duo. Holy fuck those guys are overpowered.
- Can perfectly analyze and commit to memory an object if given a moment. Works on tinkertech. Accurate down to atomic structure.
- Can assemble anything he's studied from ambient matter.

Edit: Also, I think you're underestimating the power of Infinite Tinkertech

I just like the plan name. I think we get points from choosing what difficulty?Since the CYOA doesn't say you have any I assume you have to take a complication to get points for perks. Also Sol Invictus from Exalted would make a matter much reincarnation for praising the sun.

You just described both Dragon and Glaistig Uaine's powers, and they're considered (with good reason) among the most powerful parahumans in the world. In fact, this infinite tinkertech guy is actually very similar to Dragon (both need tinkertech made by actual tinkers, and then use their thinker powers to understand said tech, and can thereafter reproduce it). And the other guy, with perfect awareness and analysis of a situation (not good, but perfect. He's never wrong) and then able to deal with said situation with perfectly applied skills in a minimum timeperiod... that's basically Combat Contessa (a more specific version of Contessa that's only good for combat, isn't a precog but lacks her blindspots). I think you might be underestimating Thinkers (never a good thing in Worm) and people that aren't immediately obviously powerful.it doesn't have direct application and requires access to other parahumans to work, so it's limited, but it's also very powerful in the right circumstances.

Now imagine them as Space Marines as well, sounds pretty awesome right? You just described both Dragon and Glaistig Uaine's powers, and they're considered (with good reason) among the most powerful parahumans in the world. If we spend more points on our companions, can we bump up their power level? It's right there on the first page, where the difficulties are listed.
Easy is 9, Standard 6, Hard 3 and Skitter 0.
Quite possibly, but
- They come as a pair on the CYOA and I like the theme.
- I enjoy munckinry, and this is a good way to encourage it.
- This is not intended to be serious. So maybe some of the stuff is a little off or unbalanced - so what? Let us not forget the time Superman punched through dimensions.
I'm on my phone so forgive me for missing something and then later correcting my self. It's right there on the first page, where the difficulties are listed.
