Summoner in the Elemental Nations (Naruto Celestial Menagerie Quest)

[x] Creature Roll (250)
We're in that early game phase where every new creature is something special, so let's get some more of them! None of them will match up to Natasha unless we purposefully save up as much as we can sure, but we can't exactly rely on just her.

[X] Creature Roll (250)

Going this way since nobody seems to want a double roll.

@Kejmur when we get Material Extraction what might you go for with Natasha? And if it's that good stuff it might make a great area of effect bomb. Especially if alot is stored in a paper seal tag. But would they be perpetually stuck with it till they meet and attack Natasha?

Being a monster from an MH style game, Shrowds actually have canonical materials you harvest from them mid fight. Beak fragments, different types of feathers from different parts of the body, Nightmare Shards, etc. All of which are used as crafting materials for the Behemoths weapons and armors, which can have some potent effects.

There's a special Shrowd based helmet for example that let's the user revive from death for 15 seconds as a shadow clone that has twice as much power.

[x] Power Roll (250)

Creatures would help more, but power rolls will most likely land on 100 points and next chapter could be a double creature roll, with more than 300 points to spend then.

Most likely will leave this voting round open for the whole day, as I take the break today.

Awwwe damn. I assumed they'd wait a turn or two so we could go with them!

They have decided that it's best to do it fast, before Wave ends up in more trouble, just in case.

Yes, Andy is there, but he is still one guy. And yes, his creatures are strong, but he is still a weak link.

I always assumed there were months in-between arcs\episides for Kakashi to train them properly. Otherwise he's barely trained them at all and they've barely had any time to grow into proper Shinobi.

Naruto timeline. Good luck making any sense of it.

You will most likely meet Team 7. But who knows when will it happen.

Mostly been a lurker here. Thanks Kemjur-san for this enjoyable quest!

You're welcome ;).

Pretty much this. Dauntless thankfully gives some already prepared options ;). But we'll see.

This is true. Shrowd is very powerful, do not be mistaken, but ninjas do tend to not work solo, and the more dangerous you become, the more people will try to do something about it. Most likely one guy who is strong enough to at least keep up or distract, while others go for the main 'target', which is you.

Vote/Count Tally 8
Seeing as there are no new votes, I may as well lock the vote.

Vote Count.

Creatures/Powers Roll.

1. Power Roll (250) -> 5
2. Don't Spend Points -> 3
3. Creature Roll (250) -> 3
4. Creature Roll: Second Roll (250) -> 1
5. Power Roll: Second Roll (250) -> 1

Ok, Power Roll wins. This time just one roll only. Let's see what we get...

Roll: D123=125 Random Gain (200)

Random Gain... Oooh. To be clear, the same ban on creatures of 700 or higher STILL applies.

Roll: D50=40 Lilo & Stitch, D122=101 Phoon (400)

Banked Points: 50

Well, at first I was worried that you would roll something truly bonkers because Lilo & Stitch has some RIDICULOUS creatures, even in the 400-600 range, but Phoon is one of the more manageable ones in terms of balance, which made me sigh in relief a bit, lol.

Pretty much you have a VERY powerful ranged attacker, that can throw absolutely devastating Wind Techniques. Well, if you meet Temari, you will be able to flex for sure, lol. TenTen joke becomes a repeat yet again :D.

So yeah, luck smiles towards you yet again. Pretty much you get a 400 points creature for the price of 200. But yeah, combat wise you get someone who gives you massive crowd control. And I need to think about how to handle mutated form.

Would photon have it mutant form base on the price it cost?

It makes sense, but damn it, I like the cute little form. Andy desperately needs something on the smaller side, lol.

And unfortunately, it sounds a bit unbalanced to keep a small form, that may transform into a big one.

Most likely I will simply go with the big form, as much as it pains me.

Also while I'm here - I'm looking for any photograph that qualifies for Average Looking, Dirty Blonde, 180 Tall, Green or Brown Eyes Preferred, Slight Beer Belly. Just an average blonde Joe, that you may see on the street, and pretty much ignore. But my gosh, it's so damn hard to find anything that fits those criteria.

Handsome? No problem.
Ugly? Also no biggie.

And why I ask? I have an idea of commissioning a portrait of Andy, but the best prices I see are the artists working with photos already there, and I just don't feel anime style is possible to find with those criteria, lol.

But again, any artist recommendations are fine, if reasonably priced. If they are on Fiverr (I have 20 euros on the account left), even better.

Just find worm portraits of Daniel Hebert, although that man has glasses which might not be what you want.

Also pirates vs hurricane has historically had clear results towards the hurricane.

He's too old. Also glasses, yes.

Also this. And Kumogakure as being mostly lightning users, and Wind working how it works against Lightning element in this universe... :p

Is it small enough for Swarm?

How about Benny from Black Lagoon. He should fit enough though he might look a bit old.

Benny is still too good-looking (and too old) for what I'm looking for.

I found something passable, but the photo quality is damn bad.

I'm actually going through Facebook, and it makes me feel dirty, lol.

And I think I have something. It's still not what I look for, and the photo quality is far from perfect, but at this point, I think I'll take it. At least a visible beer belly is there, lol :D.

You people have no idea, how hard is to actually find average or below-average photos on the internet. It drives me nuts, lol. And yeah, anime do have twisted look standards.

Is it small enough for Swarm?

Borderline from what I remember in the cartoon. A very close call. Meh, I'll just go with Mutated Form. Also, I feel like 100 versions of two would be too much anyway, as even in the base form it can still wreak havoc.

Ain't nothing wrong with that. Powers section is supposed to let you have some fun bullshit stuff happening with your Creatures. Imagine a hundred if these guys practicing with Natasha.
Best part is these guys can help deal with Natasha's Tailed Beast Bomb attack. What I mean is the biggest problem is that thing is too wide spread to use because Andy be in range. But these guys can push it further away.

That's not entirely true, once it hits all players it stops expanding, so if the enemy you wanted to hit with it is hit it would stop expanding then and there, otherwise it will keep expanding up to maybe half an islands area and then stops as players avoided it.

There's 2 videos in the thread by @Dolly Fail Fail that can show how big it gets, and the other shows the orb stopped expanding once it hit the single player recording it.

Okay do like, an idea for the Paranatural Category that would admittedly require a good bit of luck on our parts to get: roll Nin, summon her into a kunai, now you can create spectral copies of the kunai to throw instead.
