Celestial Menagerie always wants resilient, adaptable souls to become their agents, and it's not different this time around. OC Andy this time is the chosen one, and his body and soul are pulled into the dangerous world of Naruto. Will he thrive? Will he become a hero or a villain? Or simply ignore everything, and try to pretend that he may still be a civilian. In the end, it's up to you.

Creatures/Powers/Themes List
Creatures Summoned:
1. Death Stalker (Name: Scorpio)
2. Warrior Bug (Name: Zuba)
3. Phantom Steed (Name: Fancy)
4. Toucan Puffin (Name: Lax)
5. African Elephant (Name: Babar)
6. The Shield (Name: Aegis)
7. Chameleon Drake (Name: Sneak)
8. Craterpede (Name: Squirmy)
9. Shrowd (Natasha)
10. Bikōchū (Cenna)
11. Phoon (Davina)

Powers Active:
1. Animals Language
You gain the ability to comprehend and verbally communicate with animals and other non-sapient creatures. The knowledge and awareness of many animals is limited by their intelligence, but at minimum, they can give you information about nearby locations and creatures, including whatever they can perceive or have perceived within the past day.
2. Adaptive Camouflage
At will, you can apply an effect to all your summoned creatures that make them blend better with their environment. This does not render them invisible but they simply change their look to something that looks normal. This lasts as long as you concentrate on this effect. This takes priority on any Theme that may be currently applied and some things may be harder to hide than others.
3. Size Augmentation
At any time you can choose to double the size of one of your summoned creatures; this augments its strength and resistance in proportion but reduces its speed; this lasts until the creature is unsummoned or you dismiss the effect. You can use this ability at will but only on one creature at a time and you cannot use it multiple times on the same creature.
4. Swarm
When you summon a creature less than 50cm in length or height you can summon one hundred of them instead of one. They only count as one creature for the purpose of your summoning limit and for the power Strenght of Many and Mental Partition. You can only have one Swarm at a time.
5. Speed Boost
At any time you can choose to double the speed and reaction time of one of your summoned creatures, this lasts until the creature is unsummoned or you dismiss the effect. You can use this ability at will but only on one creature at a time and you cannot use it multiple times on the same creature.

Enhanced Themes Active:
1. Machine Theme
Metal and plastic are now the main components of your creatures. They look like robots, clockwork toys, or even vehicles. They can have gear, pistons, doors, or even wheels. Your creatures become immune to all poison and diseases. They also no longer need to breathe.
2. Lightning Theme
Your creatures look like they're made of living electricity. Whether this is constantly crackling lightning bolts in the outline of your creature, a thundercloud in the shape of your creature constantly rumbling and flashing with inner light, or a creature-shaped plasma globe. They do not shock anything they touch, are not made of electricity, nor can they manipulate it. Your creatures repel metallic items, lessening considerably the damage that they would receive from metallic weapons, it even affects bullets as long as they are metallic.

Informational 'Power Levels' Post and Some Quest Answers
Let's try to gain a more utility-oriented creature. Those two are nice as basic combat, certainly a match at least for Genin, but finding a good scout, healer, or builder could be good.

Yeah, it's a bit of a shame with my rolls. I wanted to give you guys at least some reliable scout, but having two bodyguard types isn't bad as well.

Also on Genin's part - I will turn this post into an informational one.

With Ten-Tails being 800 points, and Kurama 700 as benchmarks, I know more or less how I see it here. It's NOT a gospel, and if you have suggestions or objections here, just state them.

0-50 - Civilians, low tier creatures
100 - Low Genin, Academy Student
200 - High Genin, Low Chuunin
300 - Chuunin, Tokubetsu Jonin, Low tier Jonin
400 - Jonin, standard ANBU, A-Rank
500 - low S-Rank, high A-Rank (like Hidan, Kakashi)
600 - Kage Level, Sannin
700 - Uchiha Madara (base), Hashirama Senju
800 - Uchiha Obito (full power), 8 Gates Gai
900 - Otsotsuki Kaguya, Full Power Madara, Endgame Naruto, Endgame Sasuke, Otsotsuki Clan Members

I don't think there is anything in Naruto even coming close to 1000, so I think this is a more or less fair assessment. I may block 1000 creatures rolls for a while, as well, I don't want things to be too easy too early obviously.

Also, I need to make the vote tally work. But for now, I may manually count votes as there aren't that many of them for now.

Welcome to the team! Glad to see someone else joining and in Naruto no less.

Too many Worm quests/stories really. I don't mind Worm per se, but some variety doesn't hurt.

Most likely this will end up on just Naruto, although Dimensional Travel at 1000 points is there, so I may think about what to do in this kind of scenario. Most likely some Marvel/DC jump. It would be the fun the most in the potential 'leader of the village scenario' where you introduce yourselves as the leader of the city-state, and they deal with the headache of it. It would amuse me.

Don't hesitate to ask me questions. The CM may still be updated occasionally but we reached a plateau so don't worry about rules suddenly changing.

In version 4.1 there are a LOT of creatures, although Diablo missing is kind of sad. I just imagine summoning literal demon king Diablo in some worlds. It would be glorious.

Have you chosen a theme?

I think on when to include it. I will, but maybe not in the first few chapters.

Have you looked at the bonus categories?

Yup. I'm a bit careful here, but I will include them. Maybe as bonus rolls once per few rounds? I'll think about it.

Oh, I like that idea.

In the end, it's one of the main goals of Celestial Menagerie. Using agents to do it is one of the most obvious uses for them ;). In Worm, I would need to check what exactly is missing.

Potential Naruto Captures, Answers About The Borders, Routine Shinobi/Samurai Patrols, Vehicles.
Posting an informational post about potential captures that don't show up in Celestial Menagerie, and are possible to pick up. I'm not pricing them yet, but obviously, this will change. Just something for the future ;). Also answering some worldbuilding questions.

Potential Capture List:
1. Genryū.
2. Ninneko.
3. Nekomata. (This one is so different from other examples of the species, that I count it as a separate entity).
4. Aoda.
5. Garaga.
6. Elemental Nations Bee
7. Fukuemon
8. Armadiko
9. Condor
10. King
11. Ningame
12. Forest of Death Leech Second Screenshot
13. Forest of Death Giant Centipede
14. Forest of Death Giant Bear.
15. Nine Masked Beasts.
16. Three-Headed Guardian Beast.
17. Tora.

There are also many named Summon Toads, so maybe I will add them. And Kakashi's Ninken (also a maybe). The list may be updated obviously. I swear there was a Giant Tiger in the Forest of Death, but I can't find any screenshot/picture of it, so it's not included.

As for those options that have you go on your own, there are a lot of issues to fret over. He would need a map for navigation seeing as he has no idea where anything is

He may always ask the natives for the map, which isn't that big of a deal. An issue may be map reading. Our civilization isn't used to using standard, classic maps. He is better at it than average Joe, but he may still have issues.

Then there's his biggest issue, an ID for checkpoints. Maybe ninja can get by avoiding them in missions, but that just means lethal measures are okay for any confrontation against them, remember Kisame and Itachi sneaking around Konoha and the response being a Jonin free for all. It would be a safe assumption having Tsunami and Inari would cover that but he's still an illegal immigrant as far as any government would care to classify him.

Kisame and Itachi were also pretty scary S-Rank missing-nin.

The way I see this is that shinobi have outposts in most crucial spots on their country borders, and sometimes in the middle of it in some important places (like nearby rivers or crop fields), and spots they can't cover, they organize routine patrols. Although their border control is nowhere near as advanced as ours.

But most of the times 'civilians' pretty much use standard roads. I would compare them to the roads made in Ancient Rome times. Made out of solid stone/massive bricks, more adapted to travel via carts/horses, than vehicles as we know it. If you move outside of those roads, and show any weird abilities, you may be stopped, and interrogated.

An important note here is that in the Land of Snow cars do exist. Sometimes fanon uses the concept of old-fashioned cars that show up in Naruto, and possibly I will follow it. But with urbanization outside of big cities being very, very primitive you will mostly see either small models, or trucks designed to go through the most difficult terrain.

If we would look for what I imagine here, it would be something similar to Avatar: The Legend of Korra, but maybe even more primitive.
