Not really, the caverns are kind of a ways further away from where hey found Breakdown's bodyframe. That and well, they don't actually know about it. Airachnid uses that location as a place where she can have her... *Shudder* "Fun"
Not exactly, in this continuity, at least my version, Laser Cores serve two functions. One is to be the actual Spark Chamber, the thing that contains the Spark and keep it somewhat protected from outside interference. Helps that it can take a few blasts that aren't too strong.
The second is to serve as the former's personality matrix, if one wants to 'revive' a cybertronian. They need the Laser Core with their living Spark still inside, but with how everyone in Prime (NemeSIs included) stabbing everyone through the chassis and extinguishing everyone's spark.
You can see how doing so is kind of difficult.

Don't diss Soundwave like that. Sure he is creepy due to looking like a Slenderman-looking Decepticon, but he is a professional communications officer and true de facto leader of the Decepticons - he lets Starscream take the reigns and even Starscream had to tread lightly with him.
Arachnid found out the hard way when she tried to take over The Nemesis while Megatron is on a trip to Unicron's spark with Team Prime.

Well I wouldn't say that Soundwave is psychotic, just the strong and silent type who might be in mourning if one takes into account that Laserbeak might be his only Minicon left and Neme managing to bring them back might be what causes Slenderwave to defect and if he says his iconic line,, then it'd just be perfect

Plus any major construction site would be very very noticeable, as the energy expended by a lot of heavy equipment would make both factions notice the strange readings.

Ok, canonically this Prime-verse is followed after the events of War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron. With of course quite a few modifications to the lore.
The Ark was being torn up when both ships entered the massive portal. The autobots basically did everything to keep the ship intact, as an effort to save as many as possible. They began using the long distance escape pods to launch them all over the galaxy. However this was largely unneeded as the Ark survived the travel throught the portal. Although the damages they accumulated meant that she would not be space worthy for a LONG time.
Funnily enough, I did not goofed his name. I intentionally named him Pacekeeper. It's supposed to be a little bit of an easter egg.
Peacekeeper for one thing, but the first part of his name came from Pacemaker, the piece of medical equipment. Ta daaah~

Because Motormaster is the main body of the Stunticons unified big fusion robot body...
And a LZV would give him more a truck/van like main body, with attached lorry with big trailer, for the supermode.
It basically let his official transformation make more sence, while also accounting for the big fusion form, it's height.
It makes him more massive as well and don't you want to troll the Decepticons???

Oh my and I can imagine Megatron bluntly roasts C.Y.L.A.S. that he acknowledges Nemesis Prime to be considered as an honorary Cybertronian, even if artificially made and brought to life with a Spark of her own, than some pompous human who thought attaching himself to a Breakdown's body would make him one.
Indeed and Soundwave would rather crash his own systems than let the Autobots hack into them to access important information before saying, "Soundwave, superior. Autobots, inferior."
Although I wonder if Soundwave will understand and accept Megatron's reasoning after learning that he officially called for the end of Decepticons and the war with the Autobots is over post-possession by Unicron had the communications officer been there.
Ya especialy considering that NemeSIs Prime is a sort of roundabout Cold Forged Cybertronian that gained a Spark more or less on Accident
Whilst also then preceding to as effectively a Newborn from their perspective with some remnants from Silas start Pulling Shennanigans with a fair degree of Competence such as snagging the greater portion of the Lacon Relics
Alongside making full use of available tools in a fairly ruthless and Efficient manner

The way you described how the situation looks from an outsider's perspective who doesn't know much about NemeSIs Prime.
All I am getting here is that pretty much both factions would look at Nemesis like.
Nemesis Prime: "I have just woken up and I choose violence."
Pretty much but if they took the time to go over context they would probably put it down to having somewhat nonsensical but pertenant Data from having been active before actually becoming an independent existence
alongside any oddly human general mannerisms being a result of pulling on data left in the Cache from being hooked up to Silas and whatever else MECH did alongside anything that happened to be on there from The Frankensteined Parts of scavenged Cybertronian bodies
Or atleast that's the probably theory they would probably run with especialy with how intelegent Silas was

It looks like Nemesis Prime might want to start recording alt-modes from around the world.
A funny, IF she can get the Hammer of Solus Prime, then she can prevent some shit from happing.
The only problem left, is her not being a prime.
Heh, stealing the body of that Prime, could also work, you know, would give her the needed body to revive somebody, with.
AND it would let her get a use out of that hammer.
It just means groundbridging to the spacebridge, so they can travel furture.
Same in reverse.
Hell, getting that combo going, even offers a change to restore the Harbinger as well, now that I think about it.
Especially if she, as first act, constructs a charging station for the Hammer.
I do have to ask what happend with the Project Mechanoid of MECH, you know.
If simply because Agent Novo might be willing to help Nemesis Prime.
It's funny, but if all the MECH (Projects) can pull together, be briefed on the whole situation, I think even Silas might be on board with helping Nemesis.
Back-stabbing would be a great risk, yet on the other hand, the rewards are great as well.
I feel as if Silas needs a concreed goal to work towards, a target.
Preventing Unicron from waking up and thus wrecking Earth, sounds like something he could get behind.
He really needs a briefing, could alter his plans, dramatically.
It would also give Nemesis, full access to MECH it's database and thus allow her more options, like say resurrecting a certain Prime, it's body.
Might even give her a trailer, that she could use, as a body upgrade & extended arsenal.

Wait a minute, doesn't she have TWO Starscream bodies laying around?
Can't she steal his engines, for her plane alt-mode?
StarScream has a single engine alt-mode and she has TWO bodies, so that gives her, her needed two engines and even a T-cog for the both of them as well.

It might let her intergrate them as transforming add-ons, thus giving her, her tank barrel, when in tank mode and so on, like say mine clearing equipement.
Maybe even a boggie alt-mode for said engines, so she can go full on LZV Truck, the moment she can get herself a trailer.
And if she can use her old remote-control-system to gain a supermode and potentially a Combiner form...
We will see what happens next, Nemesis needs to get a move on.

Not only that, she managed to pull a Shockwave when creating her children from the Protoforms at The Harbinger on her first try, and they grow up quickly with respective personality traits and alt mods of their own.
