It's just an old SB name for 'play by post' games. But you'd kind of have to make sure it didn't turn into a BROB type thing. I don't think this new site could handle that kind of traffic and intensive posting.
That does make a big difference. This website is actually more capable of handling that kind of traffic than Spacebattles currently is. Also the guy in charge of the technical side of things is actually available - Xon is a very reliable guy.
Elsewhere Squishy posted that the board could be upgraded to a max of 56 gigabytes of ram and 20 cores. Which would be enough for 50,000 users posting like BROBites without too much issue. This website is actually more capable of handling that kind of traffic than Spacebattles currently is. They generally are much longer type of game; the one I'm in has been around for nearly a whole decade. It's just an old SB name for 'play by post' games. Yep, some of the older "story debates" I was in (before I got serve writers block and more paid work hours) had upwards of 10 pages per post. None of this 10 line "BROB" stuff. ^^;;They generally are much longer type of game; the one I'm in has been around for nearly a whole decade.
It had it's own subforum because it was just so goddamn extensive.
Yeah, if it became necessary.Just as with SB, a game could probably get its own subforum by request.
Just to be absolutely clear, do story debates refer specifically to play-by-post games and not high quality quests or council games?
