Stellaris: Paradox Grand Strategy in Space

Heh, Grand Archive seems to have a lot of comments about Trazyn the Infinite's collecting tendencies and the British museum in space in the Trailer comment section.

I find it ironic that Broken shackles get's warning for difficulty but it's been my most successful so far. Having multiple alien species from the start is such an advantage despite starting out without ships or fleets.

Grand Archive is out now. If you want to add another piece to your collection.

... the Curators will let you donate to receive relics from them (they give you an offer for two at a time, pick one or do not).
One of the Curator relics offers +1 of all the rare resource as a passive effect.
The active effect doubles the passive effect, permanently, but also doubles the cost of the next activation.

Actually started my latest run (after like a month away) within the hour of Grand Archive dropping. Only realized what was going on when I went to check my modlist after my first attempt failed after species creation.

Personally find the whole curios system neat thus far. And I do like that it adds extra stuff to previous little anomalies. Like the drifting robot or the mercenary who used orbital weaponry to write an autobiography now give you curios to exhibit if you want to. Oh, and the intergalactic projectile, which basically always brings a smile to my face when I get that event.

That's both not very useful nor actually true. Not all DLC are created equal, some are worth buying at full price and some very much are not. Utopia for example was a Stellaris DLC that was well worth the price. As was Synthetic Dawn. But something like Leviathans or Astral Planes are best to wait for a sale.

I can't speak about Archives but I definitely wouldn't say that there are no Paradox DLC worth buying at full price.

I would agree with you if there aren't dozens of DLCs to sift and grab or if they have no other titles.
