Stark Transcendent (Iron Man/Marvel Quest)

[X] The Reporter : The reporter is still hanging around, and he's probably aiming to ask for permission to use the photo he made of your little fight with Richards - a rookie mistake for someone from the paparazzi. Although you're doubtful the reporter would have much to add as far as technology went, having an in with the media that's not a total shill might be worth a lot.

[X] Henry 'Hank' Pym : You haven't seen him yet, but Henry was the one who gave you an invitation, so it's probably nice to go and have a word in thanks. As an expert in miniaturization, it's pretty likely that Pym's got a lot to offer when it comes to small-scale applications of your technologies, ideal for mobile use.

honestly he sounds smarter than Hank. we need him on our payroll ASAP.
If we put Peter, Tony, and Hank in a room together for a month we'll probably fix all the things forever.
No, all the things.
All. The. Things.

free energy with Parker Particles. In his free time.
They're like Pym Particles, except instead of making you bigger or smaller, they provide free limitless energy. Forever.
Once again, this was all in his free time not patrolling the city, fighting bad guys, or stopping crime, in addition to a tiny budget.
Now, that is interesting. We need a way to utilize and market them.

Hey, don't sell short SCIENTIST SUPREME!
I am not even joking.

Henry is THE mad scientist.
For reference sake, Peter is the third person who it would have gone to if he ever had free time, but he doesn't, so he was not even considered.

Yeah, yeah, I know. Not very original. Debated on replacing the reporter with Strange, but magitech is too overpowered at this point. Also, I just reread the thread-did you guys seriously choose to use chemical weapons? Jesus Christ, that better bite Stark in the ass in the future.

If this is Toby Maguier version I say we rost him over a fire.

Anyway, when are we going to cut down Starks military subsidiaries to nothing or change how they work entirely.

Edit: I also won't like it if this is Mad Genius Peter Parker on the level of Reed Richard or Tony Stark. He's a smart kid, but there is a thing like taking it too far.

We need to make them safe first though.
Because of that shoestring budget, the original containment wasn't strong enough and it blasted a random teen.
Said teen got powers that grow in strength, forever. If he didn't agree to self limiting, then he would have been one of the strongest human derived beings in Marvel.
Pym Particles = Ant Man
Parker Particles = Curb Stomp Galactus

Why are Jean Grey and Scott Summers here? -more than slightly worried- I don't remember either of them being techies.

...Then again I don't remember much at all about them. -thoughtful-
The Phoenix might be giving her visions...

Once we transition to Energy primarily.

Probably because they're representing Charles. Who's a leading mind in genetics.

Strange is a skilled doctor (I think he occasionally practices in comics) and the Sorcerer Supreme.

But why then? There are advantages of doing it now.

If we gut the military contracts then Stark stocks will plumet, meaning Tony can buy them for cheap and get rid of more of those pesky board members, some of whoom might be in bed with terrorists and arms dealers.

We get more of a controlling interest in the company, probably flush out the rat as he panics (which Obi did originally) and come out smelling of roses.

And we would also lose most of our investors. We need to introduce Arc energy first so they would stay for something.

We'd also get tossed out on our asses, because there's legal guidelines preventing us from just cutting major contracts like that, and make enemies in DC for years to come.

Announce them at the same time, same press conference, maybe? That we're moving into the energy sector and completely cutting off weapons production.
Maybe. Although there will be advantages to letting the market stabilize first. Depends which we think would be more useful at the time.

We need to prove to the board that energy will be more profitable, first, or they'll screw us over. Working on energy and quietly buying out the rest of the stock in the background would work better than suddenly ditching weaponry.

Tony doesn't need investors.

He is stinking rich. He invests, not the other way around.

What he maketh, he can taketh away. The mortal pleabes will throw themselves to thou knees for Sir Star to free them from their energy needs whateverth he hath done.

He's not that rich. He can't support the company on his own. No one could.

61% loss, if I recall? Hell, I'd be pissed too if my stock more than halved in value in seconds. That's some bitcoin-level dropoff right there.

Yeah, that much of a loss would GUT the company.

And by the time the second movie comes around, there's literally no sign of that decrease.

Meaning Tony turned it around in months. Hell, I wouldn't put it past him to have turned a profit.
Hey, we keep the stockholders happy, it means making Pepper as the CEO MUCH easier. Plus, like I said, we really don't need to break those kinds of laws. Too much heat, and it ties up Legal for months.
