Stark Quest 2.0: The Search for Shinies

Dragon Age is really killing our voting, it seems. Current tally stands at 5.

[X] She seems like a victim, but still she needs to stay in her cell
-[X] She still perceives Tavar as a goddess. That could bring trouble. Assign two good men to guard her. They should be physically strong but not intimidating. As a pleasure slave, she must have a certain distrust of big men. The guards should also be men who won't lose their heads because they see a pretty woman. Tell the guards that she has some...esoteric skills and that she could be dangerous if she wants to be. Tell them to keep an eye out for unusual things, like if one of them acts strangely. In such a case, it would be likely that this is Erina's doing. If something like that happens, they should not shy away from knocking her out. Though do try not to harm her.
[X] Write-in: Take counsel with Jon. Run all the plans that you've come up with by him. From all that he's heard about Dany, how does he think we should approach her? We'll have to deal with her soon - and with Viserys too. Kal Drogo seems too dangerous now - especially, because we don't know what exactly being a Champion of some heathen gods implies. Until we know more, we should not act, if at all possible. Also talk about how to deal with Robb. He will want answers soon and Jon, who is much more warrior than we are, knows Robb better in some ways. What does Jon think? He is our brother and our most trusted man. He gives us good advice and keeps us from going too far. We understand that now and appreciate it.

[X] Handle Erina with caution. She may still regard Tavar as a goddess, in spite of being told otherwise. She may simply be trying to get on your good side to protect herself, but she's clearly using her charms to manipulate you. Keep her in her cell most of the time, but make sure she gets some chances to get out each day so she's not feeling trapped. Keep your mental defenses up when around her, as well as the cuendillar chain, and allow nobody to be in the same room with her without you or either Jon or Robb in Shardplate present.
-[X] Her door should be guarded always by two men who know FV. Preferably ones who are already happily married.
-[X] Teach her about your own religion. Tell her of the Old Gods, the gods of earth, stone, and tree, and their laws, especially the one against slavery.
-[X] Tell her a bit about your prior experiences with demons. How you fought Narsuul and he possessed Red Ronyll, and without giving details about the Hightowers or that you have him bound how you fought off Ithroen's attempt to possess you, about reading the book that gave you details on the Forsaken and their names. Tavar, the Dreamless may sound innocuous enough on it's own, but when it's listed as the second among the likes of Alûthair, The Speaker of Obscenities, Labarta, The Diseased, or Dath'riel, The Sin it doesn't sound so good.
-[X] See if she knows cyvasse. If she doesn't, teach her and play a few games with her. Try to establish a rapport to get her to trust you. And do try not to utterly crush the poor girl if she's a novice at it. Maybe even let her win a game, if barely.
[X] Focus on Drogo. Find out what a Champion of the Gods is.
-[X] Possess a bird or two and do quick scouting runs on Drogo's manse to see if you can find if Ithroen has been taken prisoner. Train Possession to Level 3 so that you can do a longer runs. Use active Acceleration and Focus to speed up the training.
-[X] Continue to have some men discreetly search for Lord Hightower.
-[X] If you have spare time, decipher Illyrio's book.
-[X] Have some of the more studied men search bookstores to find books relating to religion and gods, and anything Occult. Have them bring back lists of titles so you can sort through and find what you want, and then have them purchase them.
-[X] Schedule a meeting with a higher ranking priest of R'hllor to ask them about Champions of Gods, promising a generous donation of 1000 dragons to help with the rebuilding of their temple.

The R'hllor thing strikes me as odd. They don't even acknowledge the actual existence of other Gods, and I'd rather not attract any attention.

It also seems a poor idea to donate money to people who buy from slavers, from the Favored perspective.
The temples, often called "red temples", also buy children as slaves who are known as Slaves of R'hllor and raise them as priests, temple prostitutes, or warriors.

Ya just realized that, don't really want to give them money or interact with them in any way right now.
I mean, we can talk to them. But we shouldn't patronize them in any way. And if we aren't going to, talking seems a risk very unlikely to be rewarded.

This is probably unnecessarily cautious, since we are only Favored...but if we have an eye on Champion, which I think we do, then we would probably be served well by being pretty strict about the major things.

More Dragon Age Inquisition Danny.

EDIT: Holy crap, this is absolutely awesome, I didn't realise Xenforo supported IMGUR folders.

-[X] Tell her that it is only for now and when things settle she'll be released.
-[X] Make sure no one tries to do anything to her.

[X] Launch a strike at Jorah when he's alone.

[X] Certainty

Reason:
Simple plan is best plan.

But...how does that let us pursue multiple parts of the various options chosen with maximum munchkinery?!

And what is poor Mazrick gonna do with out an obnoxious wall of text to sort though?

By the by, question on the true name of Wood - can it be used to grow trees faster? Specifically weirwoods, or would those have their own name?

Will be pretty good when we know both though. I think it was said or atleast implied by GM that once we do, we can transform normal trees into weirwoods or somesuch. No need to worry about the limited influence of old gods then.

This is a very good point. @Enjou, I would suggest removing this part. Its unnecessarily risky.

I can't believe people want to literally play games while we have an incredible number of vastly more important things to do very urgently.

We don't need to cultivate another waifu candidate.

They're also likely busy dealing with the burnt out husk of their great temple...

C'mon what could go wrong with a Favored of gods most closely associated with trees dealing with pissed off followers who are best known for burning heathens.:)

Exactly! Its almost sacrilegious to even suggest!:p

Right, I don't know how I'd survive!;)

...but Harlon loves Cyvasse!:D

C'mon you know SVers better than that, right?:p

@Alratan forget for ones that she is a woman. I don't care for that. We don't need a wife. But she still is a Shiny. She can do magic and if we get her on our side, without being screwed over, then that shiny is ours! I give you the point, that it is a risk. But, seriously we have taken much bigger risks for lesser shynies.

@Enjou I don't agree with Donating that much money on some Slave sellers. Their god is not ours and even if the old gods don't discriminate in believing in other gods, they don't approve slavers. They are our enemy's, not possible allies. Let's ignore them as long as they don't act against us.

Will vote for @Enjou when he removes the part about the temple of R'hllor.
They're a hostile religion, and slavers to boot. Donating them money or being able to wield fire won't suddenly make us friends with the big guy.
Seriously, you're trying to fit them everywhere. Are you secretly a follower of the Red God? Hmm? :p

The risk is secondary to the opportunity cost. Only we can use Possession to go looking for Ithroen. Both Robb and Jon are fully capable of talking to the girl.

As soon as we have Ithroen back we should start the missioning: Old God for everyone. The temple of the Fire god is on fire? Let Ithroen posses their Priests and proclaim, that it is a false good. That he is evil and only the old gods are good. If Ithroen sees that they did evil (mistreating children, killing salves and such) he then slits his own throat in front of all the people. Start the religious revolution in the free city's. The old gods will not want us as champion after that, we will be their Messiahs.

Then R'hllor himself possesses the Avatar and smacks Ithroen down. :p
Let's not antagonize gods before we're capable of dealing with the aftermath, yeah?

If there is a sizeable majority, I will close the vote in 3 hours, though I'm willing to push back the deadline upon request.
