STAR WARS: Imperial Twilight

Memes aside, the game has been sorta middling in the past month or so (who knows adults have to do things in December!!!)

However the stats, map and such have been updated and pushed forward. I won't be accepting any new players for now, though I have a rough list of characters I'll be adding in the coming weeks- or months, however long the next update takes.

oof. Having just read the IC update and seeing lots of PCs die I thought I'd see if there was spaces opening up but I guess I'll just keep watching.

To quote from the Discord; i'm working on it!

The major cull-which-wasnt-intended-as-a-cull will eventually see a rollout of new apps. However, the rule on OCs still stands stalwart, though I've been putting together a roster.

As the game will be picking pace up hopefully with the new turn, there's going to be a slight rework as to how stats are done, so expect another long turn after the next update drops. To remedy this, I'm open to injecting some new and new-old blood into the game, so I'm reopening a slew of applications using a roster I have put together over the span of the past while...

THE FAILSONS (and DAUGHTERS)
Descendants of fallen or out of touch war-heroes, the second and third sons of the Empire that stayed largely out of the opening stages of the Civil War, now given a sudden surge to prominence as their families are either destroyed or drastically reshaped by the conflict.

(Legitimist) Arian Organa - Youngest daughter of Leia Organa and Garoche Tarkin, the firebrand senator represents the interests of her father's homeworld on Coruscant, along with being (compared to most) a radical politician with an anti-authoritarian streak. She strongly believes in the emancipation of the Senate, restoring the constitutional monarchy under a (legitimate) member of the Palpatine dynasty, or the coronation of a new Emperor. While not in favour of abolition, her stance has been regarded as one that opts for the devolution of Imperial power in favour of bolstering the government that serves it.
(Legitimist) Ramus Piett - Son of the late Firmus Piett, Ramus has lived in the shadow of his late father for years, having languished as a lower officer in the Starfleet with no hopes of ascension due to being simply blown past by his more successful father and siblings. Yet, the Civil War has given rise to opportunity for Lieutenant Ramus, as on the eve of the third offensive on Coruscant by Jadist-aligned forces, he would be commissioned Rear Admiral and placed in charge of assembling a fleet alongside the venerable Governor Fertan at the behest of Grand Vizier Fel; the youngest Rear Admiral at a meagre twenty-five, Ramus is now set to put together the shattered remains of the Legitimist Navy, either from the remains of Rax's fleet or the already exhausted local garrisons.
(Legitimist) Jagged Fel - Second son to the legendary war hero, Jagged's social mobility had stagnated for the better part of a decade before the sudden opportunity of rising above the rest presented itself with the departure of the previous Grand Vizier. A military man by trade with a rather uneventful career, the Fel scion being made Grand Vizier was certainly an unexpected choice, though it has paid dividends in the subsequent chaos as he maneuvered his way to salvage what remained of the legitimate government, establishing a new regency on Orinda, though one ultimately loyal to the venerable Generalissimo Tagge. Alongside Governor Syf Fertan and Rear Admiral Piett, this unlikely triumvirate represent a new generation of Imperial rule, closely associated with the likes of Arian on Coruscant, though ultimately owing allegiance to the rule of the old.

THE OLD DOGS OF WAR
The old military-men of the Galactic Empire that have somehow carried on despite the carnage of conflict. Sixty years of a fascist system has given rise to a military cadre that is both respected and despised. Cronyism, infighting and nepotism has given rise to some ugly and unfortunate figures taking charge within the fractured and unstable Empire. Genuine heroes are hard to come by, and those willing to rise to leadership are even fewer in number in the modern day.

(Tarkinite) Sander Delvardus - Grand General of the Eriadu oversector, Sander Delvardus has held a relatively uneventful, if storied career, largely thanks to his marriage to the sister of Garoche Tarkin. Joining with the prestige of the Tarkin family, he has significantly raised his profile in his time commanding forces in the south, being awarded the modified Executor-class Night Hammer to serve as the de facto flagship of the Imperial Army's forces in the Outer Rim. Often rumoured that he had been a likely candidate for Supreme Commander after Adye Prittick, Delvardus is a prickly, egotistical man, not known for taking slights easily and heavily tied to the incestuous relationship of military staff; it was not uncommon for him to receive medals for campaigns he barely participated in, or had a minor role in the success of, his field grey tunic resembling a suit of armour with the sheer quantity of medals pinned to him.
(Tarkinite) Gideon Tarkin - The younger brother of the legendary Wilhuff Tarkin, Gideon is something of a grey non-distinct shape within the Tarkinite court. The devout younger brother who acknowledged his position in the hierarchy of the family, Gideon has spent the last six decades doing his part in preserving the Empire and the House of Tarkin. Ever a staunch opponent to breaking up the family and one of the few true friends of Leia Organa on Eriadu, the honourable Gideon keeps his head high and his spine stiff, an elderly fleet officer with a stabilizing presence.
(Non-Aligned) Blitzer Harrsk - From Arrowhead Command to a mercenary fleet in service to Orn Free Taa, Blitzer Harrsk has went a long way. Considered a tactical genius in his early years, he'd always carried something of an opportunistic streak amidst his fellow officers. Cruel and often regarded as sociopathic, Harrsk fought a brutal campaign of annihilation against the Crimson Dawn before being pulled to command ships at the outset of the Dark Rim War. It was Harrsk's defense of Bilbringi that shattered an entire third of Zaarin's offensive, killing Caul Gentis and his witch advisor in the retreat towards the Dark Rim. Unflinchingly self-centred, Harrsk has come to Cinnagar to support a patrician coup against the radicals of the First Order, forming a coalition of lesser corporations (namely Vulpter's durasteel mining conglomerates and Cinnagar's mercantile families) into an oddball coalition, with the mercenary admiral spearheading their fleets.
(Non-Aligned) Kosh Teradoc - The commander of the Death Star I is a strange man. The portly younger brother to Treuten, a less successful commander by every aspect, Kosh earned his position as a diehard sycophant and yes-man through grovelling to Sate Pestage for nearly twenty years, eventually being moved to the semi-prestigious post of commanding the Death Star to replace the ailing Wilhuff in the latter years of the Empire. Many in the list can be considered in the twilight of their years, but Kosh Teradoc will argue he has only reached the prime of his maturity, presenting himself ostensibly as a swashbuckling bravado, commanding a tactful void war against Zsinj's former allies with the support of the many wealthy plutocrats still dwelling within the former territories of the Imperial Restoration Authority.
(Legitimist) Maximilian Veers - The Old General, the Vanguard, many titles and honours lavished on the man who would simply be a humble army officer were it not for his meteoric rise to prominence in the crushing victories of the Hutt Wars. It was the brain-child of Veers that pacified Nal Hutta and scored major victories against the swarm-armies of the Klen'tha. Veers personally commanded entire divisions in the sweeping offensive to bring down the Yuzhan Vong at Sartiniyan; never a glory hog and never seeking advancement, General Veers has lived a relatively humble life. It was only through the sudden crisis instigated by Ishin-Il-Raz at Corulag that he rose to pre-eminence once more as a serious contender for Imperial leadership, though his relative inactivity on Corulag (in reality he has been organising one of the largest relief efforts to prevent total collapse of the Core) has somewhat lowered the general's profile with Tagge's allies.
(Jadist) Treuten Teradoc - One of the last vestiges of Prittick's desperate attempt to consolidate a major fleet to contest the Vaderist alliance at the outset of Civil War. The elder Teradoc, High Admiral and Baron of the Empire, admittedly, has not achieved much. Consolidating the Lesser Lantilles Route in the absence of his overseer, Crimson Command has undergone extensive modernisation, the former, outdated Victory-class being replaced with freshly deployed Gladius-class star destroyers, a variant of the Gladiator-class but modernized to deal with contemporary drone and starfighter massed warfare. Indeed, the new Crimson Command is a formidable, if largely disinterested wing of the Jadist eastern alliance, and Teradoc's personal hatred of Osvald Teshik and Peccati Syn bodes poorly for the Jadist cause as the oft vain and easily bruised High Admiral positions himself to act in the wake of the Republican collapse.
(Legitimist) Martio Batch - The last non-Jadist Grand Admiral to have survived the initial years of the war, the 'invisible' admiral often embodies the myth of a clean Imperial Starfleet. Not involved in the war against the Hutts and spending the better part of a well-meaning career establishing political links with the elites of the Galactic South. While not overtly friendly towards the Tarkin family, he certainly holds a significant presence within the court of Garoche as a noteworthy ally and friend of himself and Gideon. Batch's role in fighting the rebellion to his north proved invaluable as he cut off Danetta Pitta and picked up where Bandor and Tractha had largely failed. Known for competence less so any particular inclination, most had expected Batch to turn on Grunger as soon as the shooting started, though the inevitable demise of Grunger at his own incompetence left Batch as the sole remaining Grand Admiral still loyal to the Legtimists, at least, of the original crop.

ODDITIES HERE and THERE
(Non-Aligned) Xizor - The ever-charming, successful patriarch of the Black Sun Syndicate and conglomerate of other major crime organisations under the loosely-held together Smugglers' Alliance, no one truly knows what or who Xizor is backing. Having been once a close ally of Emperor Palpatine, the vast criminal shadow-empire of the Black Sun is at an all-time high. With war blockades and sieges starting to sprout up across the galaxy, the investment into the Smugglers' Guild has proven a worthwhile investment, along with staying out of either side, Xizor maintains cordial relations with both, growing his autonomy and building up a powerful working relationship with Garoche Tarkin. Despite being as old, if not older, than Palpatine, Xizor seems to be in his prime, a vizier and sage of immense power and political sway, if diminished with the effective extinction of the Ruling Council and dissolution of the old Senate.
(Non-Aligned) Rotta the Hutt - Scion of the Desilijic family, Rotta witnessed the annihilation of his species, his family, and his fortune in the ruinous Hutt Wars. He also saw the self-immolation of the Empire in the process of instigating a genocide unprecedented in scale. He saw Danetta Pitta annihilate scrape worlds of life for his sick appeasement, Rotta witnessed Vader strangle the life out of his lord father, the same that Anakin Skywalker had saved from countless assassins. All in the name of what... another master, another beast holding the chain? Rotta Desilijic was left a single alien, insular, a governor of Tatooine to rot away. Now? His family, his wealth, a fortune left behind by the foolish Bandor and equally stone-faced Trachta allowed him to swiftly buy back ancient deals and old contracts, reclaiming some, if not most of the core Hutt territories.
(Non-Aligned) Voss Parck - A hesitant military despot dispatched from relatively peaceful retirement in the Chiss Ascendancy to administrate the failing Oversector that had previously been the resource destitute realm of Gar Saxon, Parck has proven himself as able as ever, serving as the closest surrogate to Thrawn himself, projecting power from Niraun and the Gauntlet fortress to secure the newly-made Empire of the Hand, a vassal state of the Chiss. Elderly and weary, Parck doesn't have the same speed he once did, though holds a close brotherhood with Gaen Drommel and the other commanders raised by Thrawn from relative obscurity and backwater postings to serve as his various agents within the greater Outer Rim. Now, the calling has seen a just reward, as Voss Parck watches his Empire burn.
(Non-Aligned) Mitth'rau'arun (Raun) - A member of the successful Mitth military family and part of the Rogue Phalanx - a formation previously commanded by the Syndic Mitth'raw'nuruodo or Thrawn - the aspiring officer has ascended to commanding a frontier fleet in the wake of the collapse of the Empire, being assigned to govern the military branch of the Empire of the Hand at the behest of Syndic Stent. This ravenously ambitious young Chiss is one of many born at the height of Imperial power and stands to benefit from a good, working relationship with the remnants of the Empire's western reaches. As part of the Syndic Coup, Raun's deployment to the Empire of the Hand was served to secure the loyalty of the aging Parck, though it wasn't particularly needed.
(Non-Aligned) Hethrir - A mysterious Sith sorceror, was by no means a figure of much reputation. The Procurator of Justice is a capable diviner and, having been gifted his worldcraft, serves as a dangerous lynch-pin to stability in the Deep Core leading into the Dark Rim. Hethrir has no particular dog in the race, nor does he find much kinship with the radicals of the First Order, the dogmatic pragmatists of the Senate or the militarists of Kuat, instead, he operates largely as a groundskeeper within the Deep Core, building relationships and politicking in the absence of central authority. An oracle of an uncertain future, selling his far-seeing services for the right price.

This isn't a bump, or well, it sorta is. As with my Warhammer game, , for various reasons, I am not accepting anymore players for the remainder of the game. This includes returning/people who were dropped for missing orders, etc.

My apologies for bumping, again, but it's also to set a deadline, thank you!
