    The death of the Emperor at Endor has shattered the Empire. Moffs, admirals and generals turned into warlords and with the territory and forces under their command to create their own fiefdoms and wage war upon each other to expand their holdings. While these fools waste the lives of countless Imperial soldiers, the Rebels have used the chaos to seize territory and have begun conquering the weakest warlords. Perhaps the Empire is doomed. Or perhaps there is one who can save Empire and restore order to the Galaxy.

    []Gilad Pellaeon: Under the leadership Admiral Gilad Pellaeon, the Imperial Remnant has been born. Formed from the fleets of thirteen now dead warlords and a number of Imperial warlord states in the Outer Rim and Mid Rim, the Imperial Remnant is now the largest and strongest Imperial faction in the Galaxy. Women and non-Humans now serve in the military and are no longer discriminated against by the Imperial state. Territory has even been reclaimed from the New Republic. Despite the Moff Council's call for new campaigns into New Republic space, you know such things will end in failure. Better to stay within your borders and bleed the New Republic trying to push into Imperial space. Eventually the people of the New Republic will grow tired of the endless coffins returning filled with their loved ones and friends and not to mention the financial cost of a war that is fourteen years old. And as a result of this pressure the Senate to end the war.

    []Thrawn: A year ago, Grand Admiral Thrawn returned from the Unknown Regions. Using a small fleet of ships, Thrawn raided New Republic worlds and wiped out a number of pirates groups. Impressing several Imperial Moffs and gaining the support of the powerful D'Asta family, Thrawn was able to form a Imperial confederacy. With his tactical and strategic skills and the support of a number of Imperial factions, Thrawn intends to destroy the New Republic and prepare the Galaxy for when the Vong attack.

    Start Date: 9 ABY

    []Zsinj: Zsinj was one of the earliest Imperial's to establish his own fiefdom carved from the Empire after the Emperor's death at Endor. Originally only encompassing the Quelii Oversector, Zsinj's Empire now includes much more territory including the Tion Hegemony and has even made the Corporate Sector into a protectorate. Zsinj is power hungry and seeks ever more territory for his personal empire.

    Start date:6.5 ABY

    The Emperor is permanently dead in the Thrawn and Zsinj scenarios. Noghri don't exist in the Thrawn option. The Restored Empire faction does not exist in any of these scenarios.

    I'll admit most of what I know about the Legends continuity comes from browsing Wookiepedia late into the night, but from what I've read I really like this guy.

    Let's be this misunderstood guy that everyone underestimates. Thrawn and Pellaeon are well known but we could be the guy everyone makes a fool of until we stab them in the back.
