She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (MCU)

The CGI is kind of iffy, but more disappointed how skinny they made Jen look in Hulk form, she looks like a green Na'vi in some shots especially next to Bruce who I thought had his arm permanently fucked up, making me question if this happens during the Snap.

This is up my street. Not only do we have Single Female Lawyer, I'm sure that she as the largest will devour the others! Truly, television for the thinking Omicronian!

It was okay, but it didn't leave me excited for next week and I think they should have released two episodes like they done in the past for other shows because it was short as hell, especially when it's supposed to be nine episodes but I guess they want to stretch it out for Andor.

Could definately done without the running 'Captain America is a Virgin!' gag, felt weirdly out of place for a protagonist that constantly references sexism towards women and than be obsessed with whether Steve Rogers slept with anyone.

I don't see how the CGI looks horrible, but then again, I watch Kamen Rider and Super Sentai, and their CGI is far worse than this.

Yeah but presumably those aren't trying to be perfectly lifelike. You can have an acceptable CGI storytelling experience with graphics that can be rendered on a nintendo switch, assuming you don't mind being seriously stylized.

Felt pretty real to the "lawyer"/young professional shows that this one cribs from, and the real-life social interactions I've observed among young professionals.

I have a movie pitch in mind. A Hangover style adventure comedy in which Madisynn and Luis have to retrace their steps after a bender. An adventure that takes them across the world and the multiverse where they discover they have accidentally saved the day several times over through means they have no memory of initially and on their phones are a number of selfies with very confused superheroes and supervillains. In the essay I will....

is the series that bad? On youtube all they talk about how bad the show is and nothing else

I think it's been quite fun, myself.

Look, I wouldn't put too much stock in griping on YouTube. The internet is never happy. They complain about all the MCU movies being the same, but if the MCU series do something really different from the formula then they complain that it's weird. Then you have a bunch of chuds complaining because it's a show with a female lead that talks about feminist stuff.

The series is quite good, in my opinion; very lighthearted and fun. I'd probably put it in the top of half of the Disney Plus series, even if I didn't really dislike any of them (I count "What If?" as easily the worst, while still being decent, and She-Hulk is leagues above that one). It's also the best serialized Marvel TV series by a serious margin, it really feels like each episode is its own story the way a TV serials is supposed to be, which is something only a few episodes of the rest of the Disney Plus production managed. Also, I've heard some of the criticisms people have levied to the series, and to my hears those clearly came from people who either didn't understand or didn't watch anything other than the trailers, and just wanted to be angry for the sake of anger (and views/clicks/whatever). But maybe that's just me being uncharitable.

I just find the show boring with nothing but filler episodes, and the humour is very 'What's up fellow kids' with them having Jen twerking with some random Z lister.

I will agree that bit was dumb. Also, I was very surprised when the credits came up to discover that was an actual (quasi) celebrity and not a parody of one.

Given how as mentioned orher people instead of just me thought the character was made up for the show instead of a real person, they are a Z lister to international audiences.
The reason no one on this forum knows who Megan Thee Stallion is because this is SV. People who top the billboard 100, have crazy spotify numbers and have music videos with hundreds of millions of views are not Z listers unless you're a pretentious weirdo. Hip Hop has been mainstream for over a decade at this point. Twerking, not the word (which goes far as back as the 80s), but the mainstream adoption of the word, is also nearly 10 years old.
