Do remeber they factories still work.
We didn't take action to damage they factories in favor if getting badniks and Chuck location.
So they will still pump a absurd amount of badniks each turn.
If anything this Raid shows why is important to trim out the Hero's roster of our foes before going for the kill.

Those two aren't actual Valkyria. They were possibly enhanced with some Valkyria genes by Belgar but are otherwise mostly human.
It also depends on how much of the Galian/Federation side is brought over and if Belgar managed to get his mitts on them. Galia side has Alicia and Riela, while depending on how the operation went in VC4 plotline X0 might have acquired the 3 Valkyria kids that the Federation were using as batteries and nukes (in story two of them got blown up, so its possible only Angelica is the survivor though, which means Belgar probably would just be using her for experiments over as a soldier).
Clementia Förster should also still be working with Max and the Empire and through her they do also have Aliasse who technically could be a 3rd combat capable Valkyria for the Empire. But she's like 11-12 and should be way weaker then Selvaria and Crymaria. Not that it stopped Clementia from using her as a child soldier though, she's a bitch who regards empathy as a weakness (and Aliasse basically is stockholm syndromed in believing Clementia is her mother figure).
So the Empire has three combat capable Valkyria for sure, Selvaria who is their main because she has the best control, Crymaria who is stronger then Selvaria but whom does not have good control and is liable in going apeshit occasionally and blasting away with her powers, and Aliasse. Plus whoever they managed to flinch from above. So if they somehow tortured and broke Alicia and Riela, and smoothly captured all three of the Battery kids that's 5 combat capable Valkyria + 3 Child Nukes (and Empire is no stranger to making child soldiers as we see with Aliasse so its not impossible they are used for fighting too).
In practice Selvaria and Crymaria are the ones we actually have to worry about on the battlefield, Selvaria for her control and actual leadership skills and Crymaria for her power.
But Clementia and Belgar co-operating likely means the artificial Valkyria research is going to be much closer to realization then we'd like. Max will definitely poor inordinate amount of resources into that project due to his own personal obsession.

Was the reason why we put Storm upfront instead of Clove because of the Ninjas she bring? Wouldn't it be better to save her up to ambush Zavok? She didn't have any machinery he could control right?

Don't know Clementian...but otherwise much appreciated.
I doubt we'll have to worry about the child nuke thing (if anything exists of the federation it will burn), unless Max gets really desperate, and I also doubt the Gallian Valkur will be helping them.
If they do have Alaica and...Riela? (Which I doubt.) Don't really know her. They shouldn't be as dangerous as Selviria and Crymaria, and would be very willing to switch sides, and if for whatever reason they aren't...well the Empire will already be burning so we might as well salt the earth as well.
Especially since we have Isara. Brainwashed or not Alaica would be with them much longer with Isara with us.
And at that point we'll probably have a way to contend with Valkria anyway.
Though we do need to sabetoge their reasearch yes.

I will remind that the lance research gives us some pretty good stuff.
If we pass that 130 DC, we literally have the chance of giving the middle finger to the empire with the evolution of Mecha to Metal Selvaria.
Like if Mecha is defeated we definitively lose the lance as I don't doubt Selvaria would take it away.
They start shitting bricks once they realize that not only we rebuilt her, but she somehow has another lance which should be impossible in their view.
It will probably cost a shit ton of ragnite and metal.
But I want to see Max face once he realizes that not only got our hand in ragnite, but actively brought back lost knowledge to their people.
Like one of my ideas for Eggmemo is Eggman wondering how the lance came to be as he already knows it is just further refined ragnite.

The only thing I know is that Valkryas are deeply connected to ragnite.
It's possible they would be better consider a full sub-species of humans than special individuals that were mutated by living in a region with high concentration of ragnite and give them all this super human abilities.

I for one want to give Metal a Ragnite Sword, maybe one that could resemble Excalibur, if he gets the power of the Valkyrur.
I don't think we ever find out the origins of the Valkyur in VC. It's supposed to be a buried bloodline that's been lost for centuries. Some people have it some people don't. The people who do either suddenly awaken when they're about to die, or when someone pricks them with enough needles and syringes to get to the bottom of it. Oh, also only women get it. Men can't for... reasons. As far as we know it's entirely biological, although it's not impossible we could find a way to awaken or translate it or something.
The 3 big things we see Valkyur do across the series is kick ass as a badass fighting machine, angst over being either a lab-grown monstrosity or the receiver of an ancient bloodline with many war crimes on their metaphorical hands, and literally be the trigger for a ragnite-nuke. So... there are some options there. Not sure what we'll do with them but, we have options.
