Because there's a lot of really neat short films out there on the internet, some of them show really cool science fiction concepts or are otherwise pretty interesting, and you're not going to find them any other way. Some of them went on to inspire major pictures, or be incorporated visually or aesthetically into bigger pictures. This is the thread for those things.

It reads to me more like an experiment, a trailer for a movie that doesn't exist, than a full film, but it's still pretty neat looking so I included it anyway.

So, a bunch of stuff came out recently from Neill Blomkamp - the guy behind Elysium, District 9, Chappie, etc. I figured it was time to bring this back.





Of them, Zygote is the only one that's like...an actual story? But Firebase is weird and hypnotic in its own way.
