Ever wonder how the Kingdoms always seem to have food despite their farms and villages constantly being attacked and destroyed? Well, this is how, oh and before I forget, please leave your illisions of a fair world behind.

If you want peace, then you must prepare for war.

The smell of burning wood and the screams of frightened women and children fill the normally quiet night, as the black smoke that rises from their burning homes climbs to the sky as if reaching for the pieces broken moon.

Several dark figures quietly surround the village.

Each one of them is a veteran who has learned to survive in the parts of the world where both Grimm and beasts thrive.

The smell of death and blood was so strong that it would have made normal people vomit, not because of the stench but because of the other smell.

the smell of burning meat, the victims of the Faunus were left to burn inside their homes, it didn't matter if they were alive or not, the Faunus didn't care as long as they killed every Human.

One by one the soldiers stepped quietly and when they felt that the moment was right, they began their attack.

The faunus never suspected that someone was attacking them, how could they?

After all the men were quick to cover the mouths of the men and women whom they managed to catch before they slid their throats open, or crushed the mutant's heads with their enhanced strength.

But there's a point where every surprise attack, stops being a surprise, and the target knows that their lives are in danger.

Unfortunately for the faunus, it was too late by then.

"How many survivors?" the general asks one of the men who shakes his head, and wordlessly signals to him that there aren't any survivors.

the general wants to shake his head or just grieve for the people of the village, but for the moment he has to act like he's a soldier.

He takes out a flare gun and fires a yellow light into the sky.

The yellow light covers the nearby area, but it isn't alone as several other lights that are the same color join it, and before long several mechs and carriers walk or roll into the area.

they quickly set up a barrier and set up a line of defense before the Grimm that live near here arrive.

The entire section of the forest will soon be covered in Grimm, who will come looking for their next meal.

The Grimm's arrival is always the same, there's a cold wind that blows in, followed by the sound of moving leaves or bushes, a branch napping, and a distant grow.

It doesn't take long for the soldiers to see a pair of glowing eyes staring at them from afar, or somewhere nearby.

Everything they do is to make sure that their prey is sacred, then the attack begins.

the sound of gunfire, followed by the roars of beats, is quickly silenced by the explosion of the missiles that were fired at the monsters.

Then comes the worst part, the silence, the silence is unbearable because no one knows if the monsters will attack from below because some underground Grimm is nearby.

Maybe the attack will come from the sky, because some big bird either heard, saw, or felt the intense emotions of the soldiers and the people that they were protecting.

Or maybe just maybe nothing happens and they can just close their eyes and relax.

The world of Remnant is a place where the weak die young and the strong die fast, everyone no matter how weak they may seem is stronger than the average person on Earth.

It's not that they are naturally stronger, no, if anything the people of this world are weaker than the average person, but it's because they live in a world full of monsters that they have to get stronger.

The cities here are built in such a way that they force everyone to either walk long distances to find something that they are looking for or are so tightly packed together that people have to fight for the resources that they need.

The farms and villages in this world are constantly being attacked, either by raiders who just want to take whatever they can, or they are destroyed by the Grimm and on some occasions the Faunus.

But the problems don't end there if they did then this group wouldn't exist.

Just like the people of this world who learned to use Aura to gain inhuman strength, speed, and healing, the animals of this world grew stronger and faster.

Normally Grimm doesn't attack the animals, but that doesn't mean that they never attack them and people still have to eat.

There are Huntsmen, who kill Grimm and protect the cities, and then there's us.

The Hunters, some people call us the traveling kingdom because we have enough firepower to fight any kingdom if we have to, but we never have to because they need what we have and we need what they have.

They need the animals that we catch for their farms and stores, while we need the weapons and medicines that they make.

Unlike the huntsmen who became huntsmen because they wanted to or because they had to, we Hunters came together for one reason and only one reason.

Money, money makes the world turn, and out here money takes on different forms, one day it's paper, another day it's people and sometimes it's even an army.

Unlike the Huntsmen we don't have a long history, it was out of necessity that we started our little group, and even if it grew to its size there aren't a lot of us.

Or maybe we do have a long history and this group is just the recent incarnation of a group that keeps being destroyed only to pop back up again, it doesn't matter because people are hungry and we have the meat to feed them.

I can't help but rub my eyes, as I look at the map in front of me the amount of villages that have been attacked makes us completely change the route that we use.

There's no point in us coming this way anymore, so we are going to have to use another path that puts us at one hell of a risk.

I turn to look at a pair of men who walk past me, there's no reason for me to look at what they are doing, I just want to distract myself from having to do this.

The smell of manure, fur, and other bodily odors fills the air as the men check and double-check the cages, it's been weeks since they had a chance to inspect the locks that are keeping the creatures inside.

They are careful not to get too close to the part of the cage where the animals are sleeping, after all, they don't want to see another stampede happen because someone was careless.

The cages are all the same size but they are completely different when it comes to keeping what's inside from getting out, some are nothing more than a few pieces of metal that are more than enough to make the animals inside of them think that they are trapped.

Others are covered with different chains or wires to keep the animals inside safe from everything outside.

Then there are the other other ones, these cages are nothing more than giant boxes that look like safes where someone would put gold and other valuables in.

The creatures inside of those are just as dangerous or even more dangerous than the Grimm.

"So?" their supervisor asks them.

'Everything is okay sir." one of the men answers his superior who nods as the raiding teams begin to bring back everything that they can from the villages that they visited.

surprisingly they are all carrying old clothes and everyday things, like plates, pots, and pans.

It's rare to find a farm or village with enough dust or weapons, it's not that the people out here don't have those things, it's that those things quickly run.

Guns need bullets, and bullets can be used to fight both grimm and raiders, not to mention that the villagers will use said guns to hunt for food whenever they can.

One of the men raised an eyebrow this was new, there were several children amongst the scouts and that meant one of two things, either the kids were what was left of whatever village or villages were attacked.

Or the kids were all that was left after the scouts tracked a group of raiders down and killed all of the adults.

Both men become tense as several older Faunus women and young Faunus women along with their children are brought amongst the group of refugees.

I place my pen down and walk towards the group, this is the reason why I work outside, it's not to protect the Humans but to keep the Faunus safe.

I watch as the Faunus stop walking and step back when they see me approaching them, the ability that I gained when I came to this world makes my eyes glow red.

"Sir this is all that's left of the vlages>" one of the scouts says to me, as he runs past the faunus and the two men.

"Did you tell them what they will be expected to do, while they are with us?" I ask him.

The scout nods. "Sir they agreed to do whatever and please whoever desires to have them for the day." the scout answers me.

"How close are we to the next kingdom?' I ask the scout who takes out a map and looks at it for a moment.

The maps that scouts use are different from the ones that the group uses, the reason is that scouts can go through tight spaces that the carriages and animals can't fit through.

"Vale is the closest one, if we use one of the airships then we should take it there in a week." he answers me.

"Go to the communications team and tell them to contact Vale."

"Toll them that we have several Faunus with us, and some Humans that survived the attacks on their homes."

"Don't forget to tell them that if they hide the identities of the faunus then we won't be trading with them anymore."

I watch as the men run away when I'm finished talking before I turn my attention to the Faunus. 'Follow me." I order them.

When this group first started we tried to welcome everyone and while some didn't want the Faunus to travel with us we quickly kicked those people out.

Sometimes I wish we hadn't.

The number of villages and farms that the Whitefang attacked has left everyone with resentment for the faunus.

Unfortunately for everyone including the faunus that we already had working with us those feelings just kept on growing, every time we found a dead infant or a scared little kid hiding in a bush.

I lead the group to a place where three massive trucks seem to be pulling a small city on their backs, as we walk up the ramp the smell of tobacco, alcohol, and perfume fills the air.

the various lights from the shops selling food and trinkets make a person forget that they are in the middle of nowhere.

It doesn't take long for the group to realize that almost if not all of the men and women here, except for the one handling food are wearing revealing clothes.

Some barely wear anything at all, just something to keep their privates from being seen.

A huntress soon arrives and I leave the group in her care, it's going to be up to them if they want to stay or leave after we reach our destination, but while they live with us they are going to have to live by our rules.

[Kingdom of Vale ]
"Professor Glynda Goodwhitch, why do we rely on hunters if we have farms? I mean aren't the kingdoms dependent on the farms that grow food for us?" Janue Arc asks his teacher, who nods in agreement.

"As Huntsmen and Huntresses in training, all of you are aware that Grimm frequently attacks the settlements that are outside of the protective areas of the kingdoms."

"As such those areas are constantly settled, lost, and resettled, this takes both patience and time."

"The people of those villages need time to plant and harvest crops, not to mention that the animals that they take care of need to breed and grow in number for us to consume"

"Anyone can imagine how losing a single village can impact a kingdom's food supply."

"Consider this, if a farm is lost then the price of meat goes up, not to mention the price of wheat, corn, and medicines, all of which are grown in those farms."

"The Hunters hunt wild animals, creatures that have grown to adapt to Grimm-infested areas."

The image of a giant centipede appears on the screen behind Professor Goodwhitch, but it's not alone as the picture next to it shows a giant frog whose body is covered with eyes.

Beneath it is what looks like a giant chicken but its beak and claws look so strong and sharp that Jaune could swear that it could tear him to pieces if it wanted to.

"As you can see, these creatures are considerably more dangerous than the ones that you have been aware of until now." professor Goddwhitch continues with her class.

The images behind her change and now several mechs, airships, and trucks that are carrying small cities on their backs appear behind her.

"The Hunters are scavengers and raiders, but unlike the ones that all of you are aware of they don't attack the villages and towns that live outside of the main kingdoms."

"If they find a village that has lost all of its people they will take anything useful and destroy everything else."

"If there is anything that close to useful be it scrap metal or broken machine they will repair it and add it to their defenses," she says to her class.

"Okay but why do we have to learn about them? I mean don't they move from one kingdom to another without coming close to the main parts of them?" Yang asks her teacher.

professor Goodwhit pushes her glasses up and stares coldly into the crowd of students.

"My reason for telling you all of this is what they have discovered."

"Several farms and villages were attacked and as a result, Vale's food supply has been affected, or that is what I would be saying if the Council hadn't agreed to buy a considerable amount of food from the Hunters."

She takes a deep breath and allows her words to set in as the more important part of her lesson is about to begin.

"As of this moment, none of the female students will be allowed to travel outside of the main kingdom, not even for Grimm's extermination."

"Even as we speak, Vales military, as well as its militias and mercenary groups, are being sent to harvest everything that they can from these villages as well as to secure the ones that are left." She says to her students who begin to murmur amongst themselves.

Glynda Goodwhich would have quickly silenced her students in the past but she allowed them to do this, because of how important this information was.

"Why? We're supposed to be Huntresses, how can we be that if we aren't allowed to train!?" Yang loudly protests.

"Because nothing is protecting you from them." Glynda coldly answers Yang.

"The Hunters are known as a traveling kingdom for a reason."

"They have their laws, which means that they follow their own rules and one of these rules says that they can take any man and woman that they want." she says to Yang.

'Then shouldn't the boys stay behind the barrier too?' Ruby Yang's sister asks her.

"Yes, but the hunters are usually men and they aren't interested in satisfying their needs with other men. If they were then this rule wouldn't exist.'

"As I said earlier, the Hunters have their way of doing things and as such they make sure to keep Faunus outside of their cities." the image behind her changes, and now shows several faunus women dressed in revealing clothes.

"That doesn't mean that Faunus are immediately killed, because if they think that you are useful then they will allow you to live amongst them."

"I don't have to tell you what useful means in this situation." Glynda says to the faunus that are in her class.

"Of course, some among the Faunus choose to prove themselves useful and earn their place amongst the Hunters." She says as several Fanus holding antike weapons appear onscreen.

"Why would they do that?" Weiss Schnee asks.

"Because one of the Hunter's rules is that no Hunter may take anything from another Hunter unless they die on the field and have no heirs."

"Meaning that a Faunus Hunter dies, his children are automatically protected by Hunter laws and are no different from their fathers." she answers Weiss.

"Then why don't they just?" Janune begins to ask but Glynda silances him with a look.

the young man nods and sits down quietly, he knows why, and judging by how his team is comforting him so do the rest of his teammates.

The bell rings but Glynda tells everyone to sit down, everything that she has to say is too important to be ignored.

"Vales Council has made contact with the other kingdoms and luckily none of them have experienced any large-scale attacks."

'Unfortunately, that does not mean anything if the other kingdoms discover that their food supplies were attacked, as the only times that the farms contact the main kingdoms is when it's time for them to sell their harvest."

"But why would someone do that?" Pyrrha Jaune's partner asks her.

"Because people need food, and without food the kingdoms become desperate and so they begin to enter each other borders in search of it."Glynda answers Pyrra who looks at her with frightened eyes.

No one in her class was an idiot despite what some may believe, so all of them understood that someone was trying to start a war between the kingdoms.

4
"Now for the last pieces of information." she says to her students as the pictures behind her change again this time showing several outdated guns, swords, and shields.

Yet what caught her student's attention were the massive trucks that carried entire cities on their backs and the strange creatures that stood next to a group of men who could only be hunters.

"As you can see the Hunters have their cities, and yes there are more than one."

"The kingdoms are attempting to convince the Hunters to either share their transportation technology so that they can build a city and take it to wherever the people living in it choose."

'If they fail to do so, they are hoping that the hunters agree to settle near each kingdom, as they have both the experience and military necessary to fight off the Grimm."

"Okay but why?" Yang asks her with an overly annoyed voice, it was clear to Glynda that the girl simply wanted to leave her class.

"Food and defense."

"I mentioned earlier it's because the Hunters exist that the kingdoms can function despite the constant attacks on our agriculture." Glynda could see that her students were started to look bored and that boredom was leading to complete disinterest in her lesson.

"Let me ask all of you a question. Why don't the kingdoms simply have hunters of their own?" she asked her class and unsurprisingly no one answered.

"Because of the Grimm, to make a school for hunters would mean that there would be fewer Huntsmen to defend the kingdoms."

"And because, unlike Huntsmen, Hunters are expected to keep the animals in one piece, so there are few Huntsmen amongst the Hunters."

"You may leave now." she says to her class before closing her eyes and looking at her scroll. She could see the faces of the members of the whitefang whose identities were being spread by the kingdoms.

It wouldn't be long before their families were chased out of whatever village they lived in.

Their fates would be even worse if they lived in any of the main kingdoms because despite how far people have come since the days when faunus were discriminated against, people were still people.

Glynda looked at her scroll again and closed her eyes with regret, it wouldn't be long now, she sat down and looked at the pictures of the candidates that would be sent to the Hunters for training.

The pictures on her scroll stopped moving and she couldn't believe her eyes.

She quickly searched for the reason why his picture had come up and to her horror she found that among the students who were doing poorly in Beacon, others were sacrificed as a way of entering the Hunters Cities and discovering their secrets.

She couldn't allow them to be sent to that place, the hell that they were about to endure would destroy them and make them into something unrecognizable, but no matter how hard she tried to remove their names from the list she failed to do so.

'What?" she says to herself as her screen turns red, meaning that the Hunters have accepted the recruits.

She could feel her heart beat faster as she searched for any way of getting her students out of the hell that they were about to be sent into and unfortunately, she failed to find anything.

She lowered her scroll and placed it on her desk, she sat quietly and closed her eyes. She mourned for them, and for everyone who knew of them, by the time the exchange was done her students would be completely different people.

Hunters don't have combat schools, for them, it's do or die. Either the recruits became Hunters or they died trying.

The Faunus were considered property, every hunter was given a Female faunus when they managed to capture or kill their first beast.

Hunters identify themselves by the city and team that they belong to, so every Hunter has a tattoo that is burned into their skin that doesn't heal properly, this tattoo marks the city and team that they are a part of.

It's that team that will stand outside of the recruit's room and listen to him force himself on his reward.

Glynda felt a hot tear form but she quickly removed it, she can still remember how she and her team tried to stop this when they found that someone that they knew had been given to Hunter as a reward.

The fight was brutal, as more and more Hunters arrived to reinforce their team, they wouldn't allow her and her team to help the girl.

the fights attracted the Grimm, but to the Hunters the initiation was something that could and would not be stopped.

When it was all over one of her friends was dead, another had been crippled and Vale was warned that if its Huntsmen ever tried to put Vales's laws in Hunter territory then there would be war.

She retired after that, and it was Ozpin who gave her a chance to teach the next generation.

"I'm sorry." she whispered, knowing that her words were meaningless.

[Hunter ]
"Systems are green none of the trucks or the cities are reporting any problems sir, but we do have an issue."

"What is it?" I ask the communications officer.

"Atlas is asking to be allowed to send a team of Huntsmen and Huntresses. The Schnee Dust Company is offering a large amount of Dust so that we can." the woman pauses for a moment and I can hear her say this can't be right.

"The Schnee Dust Company is offering a large amount of Dust and Faunus in exchange for us to help them and the Kingdom of Mantle create a new settlement"

"We don't do that" I say to her, I can see her hesitate but she continues to read.

"They are offering their only male and inheritor to the company as collateral, so if anything goes wrong we will be allowed to do with him as we, please.

"There is one more thing, sir, his mother Willow Schnee will be coming with him, but only to help him train."

That was strange, not because the Schnees were offering their only Heir, but because he would be bringing his mom with him, Jacques Schnee was a man who had to rule over everything and everyone.

The man wasn't the kind of person to just let something or someone useful to him simply leave without a reason.

"Who signed off on this?" I ask her.

"Nicholas Schnee."

"Is that all?" I ask her.

"Vacuo is offering a large amount of merchandise and by that, they mean faunus in exchange for us agreeing to trade with them again."

"They are also offering maps to the areas where their people used to live as a peace offering. It looks like they are suffering from a drought that."

I nod at her words but reopening trade with a kingdom that attacked us in the past is something that everyone needs to agree with.

There didn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary until I noticed that she stopped talking.

I finally turn to look at her and I find that she is mumbling to herself as she reads something on her screen before she moves the page down and reads everything again.

She did this over and over again until she finally stopped when she saw that there was nothing wrong with what she was looking at.

I watch as she tries to tell me what she just found but I can tell that something inside of her is stopping her from doing so.

"The Kingdom of the Faunus wants to start trading with us, but they are only offering money and Huntsmen." she says to me.

I can't help but smile cruelly when I hear that.

"Tell them that we will agree in exchange for extra hands, meaning that we need people."

"Tell them that we will only open trade with them if they agree that once those people arrive they have no say in how they are treated or what we do to them."

"It's done, sir." she says to me.

"Tel me why do you think that they keep offering us the Faunus? I mean it's not like we want more of them." I say to the girl who shrugs and doesn't say anything.

The Menagerie is the Kingdom of the Faunus, unlike Atlas or Mantle who believe in the supremacy of Humans over Faunus, it's a place where the animal people can live without Humans.

It is also the place where the founding members of the White Fang live and are the rulers of the place. They may not have the title of King and Queen but everyone treats them that way.

Menagerie if it was up to me, I would take all of our cities and destroy the kingdom.

I have no reason to keep the damm place alive.

I've been in this world long enough to know that there isn't a place in this world that's safe, I've seen enough ruins to learn that lesson.

I can't help but lean back on my chair and let out a breath, how many times have I stared at this metal ceiling?

"Sir, I know that you haven't slept and that you are tired but please try to look more professional." she says to me.

I can't help but laugh quietly, she hasn't changed since the first day and still acts as if appearances are important in a place like this.

"How far are we from Location Z?" I ask her and everything on the bridge falls silent, no one dares to say anything not even the ones that were using their scrolls to talk to the people in the other trucks.

I watch as everyone looks at me with shocked expressions, as the beeping sounds along with the static noises from the various devices are the things that make any noise.

"Location Z is about four hours from here but it's." she says to me but she stops talking when I stand up.

"Tell the councils that it's time that we get back what was taken from us." I say to her as I walk out of the bridge.

As the doors closed behind me, I heard everyone start to panic as they asked each other if I was serious.

Location Z is where city Z was abandoned after the White Fbag destroyed its engines, the place is covered with Grimm and wild animals.

The only reason why none of the Kingdoms have tried to take it is because they would have to use all of their military power to take it, and then they would have to repair everything, while fighting the wildlife and the Grimm.

It's the perfect place to strip any pity that the newcomers would have for the Faunus. We weren't able to save everyone and a lot of people were left behind.

"Attention all citizens we will be at the edge of the Kingdom of Vale in five minutes, if you wish to explore please have all of your paperwork ready."

"If you lose your documents or if they are stolen just find a Hunter and explain to them the situation, then show them your mark."

6
The sound of music could be heard long before the hunters reached the walls of Vale, everyone watched as tanks, mechs, soldiers and beasts walked into the kingdom.

Despite how breathtaking this sight was, everyone's attention was on the faunus that followed, dozens of men and women dressed in very little clothes danced and played music with their various instruments.

Fire breathers made children gasp, the ignorance of youth made them blind to the dancers that seduced the men and women amongst them.

The people of Vale cheered as the Faunus performed all sorts of acrobatics, but when the music finally stopped the joy that was present just seconds earlier vanished.

Massive cages holding creatures that no one had ever seen before were dragged in, and soldiers marched on all sides, unlike the first group of soldiers none of these men had a welcoming air to them.

As the Hunters paraded themselves into Vale they were watched by Vale's guards and Huntsmen, who made sure that the Hunters didn't attack any of the cevillians.

In Beacon Academy, the students ran either deeper into the school or towards the outside, as several teachers and students placed cameras around the school so that the people of Vale could see what happened.

The students watched as airships from different kingdoms began to arrive, some brought Huntsmen while others brought ambassadors from the other kingdoms.

Yet what caught the attention of the students were the crates that had the Schnee Dust Companies emblem.

The students murmured amongst themselves before the sound of engines caught their attention, some began to smirk while others were quick to point out how old the Airships were when compared to the ones that the Kingdoms had.

As the Airships of the Hunters landed the students became quiet when they saw that the Hunter's airships were covered in weapons.

"Greetings Hunters and welcome to Beacon." Headmaster Ozpin says to the Hunters as they jump off the airships.

A heavy silence set in as the Hunters looked around and noticed both the students and foreign airships.

"Ozpin, it's been a long time." A man who had a scar that ran from the top of his forehead to the edge of his neck shook the headmaster's hand.

"I heard stories that Vale had allowed Faunus to enter Beacon, you can imagine what a relief it is to see that those were just stories." the Hunter said to the Headmaster who just smiled.

"Things have indeed changed and while I know that you and those with you don't agree. Beacon does have several Faunus within its walls." the headmaster says to the Hunter as both men let go of each other's hands.

The students of Beacon and the people of Vale can feel the tension in the air as the Hunters reach for their weapons, but before anything can happen the man who is speaking with Ozpin signals to them to stop.

"I see, then I guess that you prepared some of those delicacies for us to enjoy, you know something for us to relieve the stress of having to come all the way here."

There was a deep silence as both men glared at one another.

'We keep a close eye on who enters this school. My students are not your playthings." headmaster Ozpin says to the Hunter who smirks at the Headmaster's words.

"One word, I just need to say one word Ozpin.' the Hunter threatens the Headmaster whi who says to the man with a cold voice that sends shivers down the spines of everyone who hears it.

"Do you think you're going to be able to say it?"

The sound of laughter filled the air as all of the hunters surrounded the headmaster and hugged him.

"This is the Ozpin that we remember." one hunter said.

"Glad to see that being in this place didn't soften you!" another hunter says to the Headmaster who is now truly smiling.

"So they finally twisted your arm!" another says to the Headmaster who nods but doesn't say anything.

"Come everyone let us do business and remeist of old times before we all go back to our lives and live the lives that we chose." the man with the scar says to everyone before the Headmaster leads the group into the school.

the kingdom of Vale watched as the group of men walked into Beacon and in a single instant the entire kingdom let out a breath of relief when the doors of the school closed.

It was widely known that a person needed to be a powerful Huntsman or Huntress just to be a teacher in one of the three strongest combat schools.

To be the Headmaster of one, a person needed to be more than capable of beating all of the teachers and students if the situation ever called for it.

Yet the entire kingdom had just seen a group of men challenge what was the kingdom's strongest Huntsman and it ended in a draw.

The teachers began to move the students into the building, they made sure to remind the students that no matter what they heard or saw, under no circumstances were they to unsheath their weapons.

Projectors were being used to show the negotiations as they were happening to the students, while the people of Vale watched in their homes through the TV.

Everyone watched as the representatives of every Kingdom stood on the side of the room, while the Hunters sat on the other side of the room.

'Let's begin." the man with the scar says to everyone.

"We already agreed to take your worst students Ozpin, but after what you said out there I'm not too sure that we should." the man with the scar says to the Headmaster.

'It's none of your concern how I do things in my school." the headmaster says to the Hunter who glares at him.

"Ten years, we fought their kind for ten years, and we lost one of our cities while all of you betrayed us!" one of the Hunters yells at the ambassadors.

"We had to, we couldn't risk another war." General Ironwood of Atlas says to the Hunters.

"And what thanks did those people give you?"

"I've heard the stories. Oh, they gave us the worst land, while living in a tropical resort, while your two kingdoms barely have any food and your people can freeze at any moment." the Hunter says to Ironwood who nods.

"Enough let's get back on topic." the man with the scar says to everyone, as he makes something appear on the white wall beside him.

"We aren't here to argue about your mistakes, we are here to talk about the attacks on the farms and villages."

"I'll be blunt with everyone here, the higher-ups are considering a permanent settlement in Vale. We have the resources, the tools, and the people." he says to everyone, as the ambassadors begin to talk with each other.

"Before we even consider doing that we will be reclaiming Location Z. So we ask all of you to stay out of it, as for the students that you are giving us, they will be put through the test."

"If they survive then they will be Hunters and possibly Hntsmen, if not then someone will have to explain to their families how their kids died." he says to everyone.

"If you are going to record the city, then Atlas will." General Ironwood began, but he stopped talking when the Hunter shook his head.

"The Deal was, that Huntsmen stay with the Kingdoms, and we Hunters stay with our cities. It's up to us to retake it." He says to everyone.

'Earlier you spoke as if you didn't want faunus in Beacon, if you were to build your town would you give the Faunus equal rights?" the ambassador of Mistral asked the Hunters who laughed at her question.

"No." was the only thing that the leader of the Hunters said to the woman who just closed her eyes and didn't say anything else.

7
Within F city several Faunus were gathered they varied in figure and age, but they all had one thing in common they were all considered beautiful by those who looked at them.

"Listen up!" the leader of the city says to them as she walks from left to right.

"All of you have been chosen to be the rewards for the recruits!"

"I will not tolerate any disobedience! you are their toys, not their partners!"

"You are stress relievers and servants"The woman lowers her voice and her eyes soften.

"Some of you remember when we were at war with the Humans, some of you don't. If you are from the outside, then you think that I'm wrong for what I just said."

"This is your chance to leave, get out and get lost. If you don't leave then shut up and do as you are told." she says before picking up a weapon and throwing it to one of the girls.

"No Hunter will give his or her life for a woman that only has her body to offer. As of today, we will train you in the maintenance of clothes, weapons cooking, cleaning, and the treatment of injuries."

"Then why don't they just marry us, if we have to do all of that?" one of the girls asks the city leader.

The woman walks closer to her until she stands in front of the girl, the woman's aura makes her tower over the girl who shrinks under the woman's gaze.

"Because we aren't Human and because of what the White Fang did." the woman answers the girl.

"Now let's begin, some of you will go alone to a single huntsman others will go in pairs or more, it depends on how many survive the initiation." she says to them.

"You are not being trained for a better life, you are being trained so that your children can have better lives. The children of Hunters are born with the rights of Hunters." she says as she walks from right to left.

The Airships shook and made the cages and crates that were full of Faunus hit each other forcing the Faunus to hold on to each other as they tried to stay in one place.

The Schnee company's greatest test Weiss, was the heir to the company, and while she had rebelled against the family she would eventually break just like Winter.

It had been difficult to bend her eldest daughter's mind so that she could understand that even if she became a Huntress and joined the military, that her family still held control over her.

Willow took another sip from her drink that was in the past and in time Weiss wouldn't just as she and Winter had.

Dust is something that everyone needs and it's something that grants people power far beyond that of any weapon.

She glanced at her son and smiled warmly at him.

He will be the first Hunter in the family and thanks to the amount of dust and faunus that her company was offering the Hunters, she had secured a small group that would be loyal to him and more importantly her.

It was a cold thing to do to her child, especially the only male she had given birth to, but it was necessary.

Their homeland is a place where life isn't assured, and if just one heater fails then an entire section of the kingdom dies.

Dust routes and mines were valuable, but they were worthless if there was nothing to eat or drink, this was their true mission, to secure the kingdom's food supply.

Again the ship shook and again the Faunus screamed, it didn't matter, they didn't matter.

They were all criminals who had killed her employees, and when she told the Hunters that more than half of them were members of the White Fan then whatever regret the hunters may have for treating them harshly would end.
