Rooster Teeth's hit anime (which can be discussed here) RWBY now has a video game. Rwby Grimm Eclipse started as a fan-game. It was so popular that Rooster Teeth hired the game's creator to make a full game. The game was just Greenlit on Steam and should have a full release announced soon.

RWBY: GRIMM ECLIPSE is a 4 player co-op, hack-n-slash game based upon Rooster Teeth's international hit series RWBY.

Get ready for intense combat action as you battle Grimm across familiar locations of Remnant including new areas never before seen in the show. Play as Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang in this character-driven adventure that explores new storylines, new Grimm types, and a new villain!

The gameplay takes inspiration from Dynasty Warriors and Left 4 Dead offering over-the-top combat along with engaging missions and storytelling.

Might be a game I pick up. Looks like a solid game so far.
 
All right, just finished a run through as Ruby, and it definitely is a lot of fun. There's not much gameplay depth yet, but you can see the potential, especially in the way leveling up works. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more playable characters.
 
I wonder if their going to add the new characters with the new campaigns. like JNPR with the second and CFVY with the third.
 
Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

It's pretty nice, though Blake seems weak-ish. And slow. Seriously, the ninja has shorter dodges than the mage (though ok, she can do it anytime, which is nice).

Blake's got pretty amazing single-target damage. She's the one you want wailing on the tough enemies that Weiss has frozen.
 
Ruby is a crowd level damage dealer, Yang meant to get in the middle of the fight, weiss seems to be crowd control so the team doesn't get overwhelmed and blake is the single target damage dealer.
 
Yeah, that's how I see it, too.

I'm playing Weiss, and to say she's good at crowd control is an understatement. I was quite easily holding off an Ursa and three Alpha Beowolves on my own while the rest of my team cleaned up the small fry.
