If anything, Holly seems amused. God, you don't think you'll ever figure her out.

The words are soft, but clear enough that you have no difficulty in hearing them. "I'm sorry, Jotaro. We came all this way so you could be with your girlfriend.... and here I am, getting sick and being a burden on you."

She's trying not to cry. And even if you have trouble understanding her, Holly's still your mother. You know her. And damn it all, she's always been like this.
You're not getting worked up. There's just some condensation on your face, from the snow-women being around and making the air cold.
You fight back the urge to say something cruel again, and sigh. "Tch. Spare a thought for your own well-being now and then."

Holly reaches out, and even though you don't really want to, you take her hand. "I'm going to be okay," she promises.

Tch. Such a damn pain in the ass....

Satisfied that Holly seems to be doing okay, you depart for the room you'll be staying in.

As you slowly drift into a fitful sleep, you idly wonder how your friends' vacations are going, your thoughts drifting in particular to....

Also, I joined this quest later but I have a question. As I understand, this takes places somewhere before or instead of stardust crusaders.
So, is DIO going to be a thing? Hell, is Kakyion a thing. He is seventeen now too (even if he and Jotaro don't look like it)

DIO will eventually be a problem, and Kakyoin might have minor tweaks to his backstory but I'd be surprised if Eva removed him altogether.

Speaking of, are there still long-term ooc plans for taking over most of the Harem, or are we pretty much locked into the Mizore route by now?

Pre-SC. The rough chronology should look something like this:

R+V Season 1 (Anime+Manga) = R+J Season 1

JJBA Part 3: Stardust Crusaders = R+J Season 2

R+V Season 2 (Manga) = R+J Season 3

And then I have tentative plans for Part 4 and Part 6-based spinoffs/sequels for after R+J concludes, if I still feel like it when we get there.

I don't recall there having been any discussion of harem usurpation for several months (might actually be a year or more, now), and Jotaro really isn't the type to carry an interest in multiple lovers anyway.

Outer Moka, Kurumu, and Yukari (for what she's worth) are still targeting Tsukune, while Ruby's status is still unknown (to you).

Good let Tsunke deal all that hassle should help him grow a spine, or fangs whichever comes first. I don't think Jojo would be able stand that sort of shenanigans for very long before he exploded at somebody. I'm fairly sure Jotaro's thoughts on the harem hijinks goes something "Better you than me, I thank you for your sacrifice, I'll leave an offering at your shrine." or something like that only more Jotaro so it'd probably come out as "Yar Yar days." while he tugs at the bridge of his hat.
