Just to be clear, not choosing a "actually, something DID happen" skips to summer break. Which lets me jump ahead to Witch Knoll, but also means you miss out on valuable story arcs or character development opportunities being shown to you, instead of getting infodumped at you later.

Also, the "event" options are in a specific chronological order. If you pick an earlier one, afterward you will have another chance to timeskip or choose another event.

Don't want to do the whole SPC story arc yet, not sure our ripple is far advanced to face Kyuubi flame wheel.
