Roboute Guilliman + Dauntless Few Primarchs with their legions in Dune.

Tyzuris Coronati

We march for Macragge! And we shall know no fear!
Location
Somewhere North where it's cold (AKA Finland)
Assume that Roboute Guilliman along with his Dauntless Few (Sanguinius, Ferrus Manus, Rogal Dorn and Leman Russ) and his and their legions along with all their territorial, industrial, population, fleet, auxiliary infantry assets, etc... are transported to Dune - verse at the start of the first book.

Assume for 40k side the Warp works without Astronomican and the Emperor so FTL works well for the Primarchs and their Legions.

How will this affect the balance of Dune-verse with the addition of five Primarchs and well over half a million Astartes?

Overrun?

Look. There's a reason why Paul conquers the known human sphere in his Jihad. He now controls the Spacing Guild via the spice, so the exorbitant costs of moving large armies doesn't exist.

And since feudalism, nukes and shields, the Great Houses has kept mostly small armies but trained them well. Atreides, by training his army and then leveraging popularity was a threat to House Corrino.

And if we use the prequel novels, such success were by intergrating air and sea power, hidding and then ambushing the enemy invader.

Those limits don't exist for the 40k side...

Entirely possible a lascannon has a nasty interaction with a shield, though.

Also their territorial assets are not insignificant. Good ol' Rowboat has his own modest personal interstellar empire, plus whatever the other four bring along in addition to whatever more general Imperial planets that are considered closely enough aligned with any of their legions.
