I lost a lot of interest for the quest, GM should at least announce the vote is over, quite a few voted for Genesmith plan. I even sent PM to him about the vote.

yeah timeslipping is intriguing but the main thing against Chaos and the Black Crusades are the SM who in many times DIE from a gene flaw like the Wulfen the Flesh Change, Dorns Darkness, the Red Thirst and Black Rage.

I had 2 hours of sleep last night, and even when I woke up past my alarm to check on things, no one else had voted. I thought the vote tally and the fact I said when votes closed was clear enough.

Yes, I know, gene purity is a very important thing. Here's how everything else could've been vital.
Psyker: Do I even need to explain why having a Primarch-tier psyker would be ultra-useful to the Imperium?
Pheremonal Command: I admit I don't know what this would do, other than presumably "mind control by smell".
Genius - Mechanics: Actually being able to kickstart the Imperium's technology back along the path of progress? Holy industry, Batman!
Genius - Psychic: Not sure how this differs from Psyker. At a guess, Psyker is the power, this is the knowledge. Both would be Magnus. With this we could re-engineer the Astronomican, among other things. AKA that thing every Imperial ship relies on for navigation and gets tens of thousands of psykers fed to it a day. We could harness psykers on an Imperium scale by redesigning training and shit.
Genius - Physics: Another "this way to technological revolution" pick. Arguably more so than Mechanics, but without the hands-on Ferrus Manus/Perturabo ability to make everything.
Achron: Detailed, in-depth analysis of disasters and catastrophes, along with strategic and tactical planning involving literal in-person knowledge of the future, among several other things. Never make a wrong move again! with the potential to expand beyond just two years! Even for something like the Imperium, a few years of prep time is a distinct edge, especially when we know almost exactly the nature of the threat.
It's not like Genetics is literally the only useful choice. Everything has its use and its place, it's a matter of what we most want to read. And I want to read a time traveling Primarch, not to mention "Pragmatic and Ruthless" is actually pretty boring for an SV character's personality, and in general. And Ruthless / Pragmatic is more or less the same thing, anyway, just Ruthless has slightly more negative connotations.
The Great Crusade. A time of hope, conquest, and manifest destiny. A beautiful ideal, crafted by the Emperor and propagated through his 20 sons. Each of you near perfect beings, you forged powerful bonds with your brethren, but especially the near inseparable pair of Ferrus and Fulgrim, as well as your fellow warrior Leman Russ. With Russ especially, you and the Emperor worked together for a time on stabilizing the Vlka Fenryka's geneseed - you made very little progress, but the Warrior King appreciate your efforts to help him and his legion.
Even with the other legions, you shared a decent fellowship, although the logical and unemotional approaches both Guilliman and Perturabo had towards the Great Crusade troubled you - this was the chance of a lifetime, to go across the galaxy uniting mankind, and they'd rather waste it taking planets and crushing any resistance in your path. You did have to admit, their compliance rates were quite high in comparison to yours, and you were no slouch, but that didn't excuse their attitudes. Still, your work with your legion was a dream come true to you.
Which is why it was such a shame when the dream ended and the nightmare began. It began with Monarchia - Lorgar became embittered after the destruction of such a perfect city, and from henceforth only pursued compliance with a ruthless precision. You never forgave Guilliman for what he had done, destroying such beauty without hesitance, but Lorgar's new attitude earned him the ire of many of those who sympathized with him. Is it any wonder that he turned to Chaos, after what he saw at Cadia?
The Emperor paid no attention to the strange actions of his wayward son, instead focusing on his conferences with Virgultur, Primarch of the 11th legion. There were rumors that he was recalled, along with his entire legion, to Terra for using Xenotech and tampering with his geneseed recklessly, turning his latest batch of legionnaires into mindless mutants. All you knew was that once they entered the inner sanctums of the Imperial palace, they hadn't been seen of heard from.
The next tragedy was the Drop Site Massacre, the beginning of open conflicts between Loyalist and Traitor forces. When you heard of what happened, you immediately redirected your forces from their current route in the warp, despite the dangers of such a maneuver, and rushed at breakneck speed to Istvaan V. Calling upon the full might of your legion elite, you teleported onto Perturabo's ship from the absolute max range of your teleportariums, and so came your downfall - you mistimed the jump, and only you and about half of the Legion's elite made it on board. Still, you battled your way through Perturabo's terminator guard and even 12 of his "Iron Circle" automata before reaching your prey.
The two of you clashed, a grim reflection of the clash that was occuring right now between two of your closest comrades on the planet below you. You were clearly the more skilled combatant, but you were outnumbered and your rage at the betrayal of our brethren clouded your vision. He baited you with an opportunity to strike a killing blow, and when you moved to take advantage he hit you with a centralized EMP blast, knocking you back and damaging your teleportation transponders. It was then that he revealed his true reason for luring you here: he had created a way to create a very small, centralized warp storm by working with Lorgar and studying the Eye of Terror. You were cast into the warp, and with your teleporter damaged you had no way back into realspace. Almost immediately, you were swarmed by warp xenos, and you had to flee against the overwhelming hordes, further reducing the chance your legion would find you.
And so it was that you became trapped in the warp. Afterwards, as the Horus Heresy ranged on, you found a disturbing number of your ships suffered from warp incursions and failed warp jumps then normal, trapping more and more of them along with you. While Guilliman prepared to purge the Imperium of traitor elements during the Scouring, you struggled to survive in an region hostile to your very existence. Daemons of all sorts constantly sought to kill you, but you learned to fight against them as efficiently as possible. Things changed again when you discovered that your long-term Warp exposure had turned you into an Achron, unbound from the conventional forward flow of time. You had a much easier time surviving now that you could escape from future ambushes by fleeing back in time, but your new found ability somehow only intensified the assault from Daemons, especially those that were born of Tzeentch.
Your biggest problems, however, weren't something you could fix by fighting it or using your Achron ability. Your legion was slowly dying out, and when the few geneseed you could retrieve from fallen Astartes was usually corrupted, you had no stable means of restoring it. Slowly, more and more of them had died, until you had left was the few commanders you could rescue, and even they soon fell. This is how the last 10000 years passed for you: battling to survive against corrupted Astartes and the daemonic hordes, searching for a way to escape the warp and take your revenge.
Your way out finally came in the form of a Space Hulk, halfway in between the warp and realspace. You fought waves of xenos and daemons alike who had taken shelter there, and finally, after over 10 millenia, you were freed from your prison. For the first moment in decades, you're able to relax, no fear of a Greater Daemon attempting to kill you while you rest.
You want to find a way to contact the Imperium, to find out what's happening - you know they've been besieged by 13 of that upstart Abaddon's "Black Crusades", but beyond that you know nothing of its current status. For now however, you check your gear to make sure everything's still working after leaving the warp.
Choose a Primary Weapon
[]The sword Cassiel, which you personally hand-crafted during your imprisonment in the warp to travel with you through your time jumps. If you ever need a weapon, you will find it in your hand, ready to serve.
Range: Melee-Melee, Modifiers: +25, ROF: Variable, Damage: D10 + 9 Grievous, Qualities: Melee, Temporally-Linked, Master Crafted, Warp Hunter
- Melee: This weapon can be used as a melee weapon, with a ROF equal to the wielder's Reflex bonus. This weapon cannot jam if used as a melee weapon.
- Temporally-Linked: You may take a special action to call for this weapon - it immediately returns to your hand.
- Master Crafted: You can reroll failed hit and Jam tests for this weapon.
- Warp Hunters: This weapon's Damage is increased to 2D10+18 Previous against characters with the Daemon trait.
[]The pair of chakrams Kala and Kali, gifts from your Legion when you first met them on Gyril. Linked by a advanced machine spirit, they detect enemies and maneuver to destroy them using anti-grav propulsors like a pair of deadly dancers, locked in an everlasting spiral of death.
Range: Melee-Medium, Modifiers: +20, ROF (Ranged): Semi-Auto(2/4/8), Damage: 2D10 + 6 Aggravating, Qualities: Melee, Predator
- Melee: This weapon can be used as a melee weapon, with a ROF equal to the wielder's Reflex. This weapon cannot jam if used as a melee weapon.
- Predator: You may reroll damage rolls for this weapon.
[]The sniper rifle Khonsu, given to you by Ferrus Manus during the Great Crusade after you helped him bring compliance to a particularly difficult world of theologians. It has one of the most advanced targeting algorithms you've ever seen, capable of predicting a target's movements through body language alone. If you didn't know better, you'd even say it was too smart.
Range: Medium-Extreme, Modifiers: +50, ROF: Semi-Auto(1/1/3), Damage: D10 + 12 Grievous, Qualities: Target Analysis, Master Crafted
- Target Analysis: Every time this weapon hits a character, its analysis level goes up by 1. Add D10 Grievous to its damage for each analysis level it has. If a new character is targeted, the Analsis target resets to 0.
- Master Crafted: You can reroll failed hit and Jam tests for this weapon.
Choose a Secondary Weapon
[]The relic volkite charger Helion, which burns with the brightness of a red giant. Its destructive capabilities have been enhanced by Fulgrim, before his betrayal of the Imperium, and it bears his signature aesthetic flourish.
Range: Short-Medium, Modifiers: +20, ROF: Semi-Auto(2/3/4), Damage: D10 + 6 Grievous, Qualities: Volkite, Master Crafted
- Volkite: Characters hit by this weapon must pass a FRT test or take an additional D5 + 3 Aggravating damage from this weapon. This damage can be saved against.
- Master Crafted: You can reroll failed hit and Jam tests for this weapon.
[]The throwing axe Storm's Tooth, a gift from Russ for your work in stabilizing his legion. This perfectly balanced throwing weapon has been blessed with the same technologies that power the frost weapons of VIth legion, slowing down and freezing those struck.
Range: Melee-Medium, Modifiers: +10, ROF: Single, Damage: 2D10 Aggravating, Qualities: Stasis, Throwing Weapon (1), Melee
- Stasis: Characters hit by this weapon become downed, even if they still have unfilled Aggravating Damage boxes. At the end of each round, roll a D10 for each character downed in this manner - on a 8, 9, or 10 they recover and are no longer downed. If they would be downed because all of their Aggravating Damage boxes are filled, they remain downed.
- Throwing Weapon (1): This weapon can only be used one time before it must be retrieved.
- Melee: This weapon can be used as a melee weapon, with a ROF equal to the wielder's Reflex bonus. This weapon cannot jam if used as a melee weapon.
[]The Multiforge, a Dark Age of Technology weapon system you discovered on a lost Forge World right before it was about to overrun by It is. This strange device is about the size of a backpack reactor but can supply you with any number and variety of unique grenades during battle, from mundane frag and krak grenades to toxin grenades, breaching charges, and rarely even stasis bombs. During the Great Crusade you had it hooked up to an ornate wrist mounted grenade launcher, but it quickly fell into disarray during your tenure in the warp.
Range: Medium-Long, Modifiers: +10, ROF: Semi-Auto(2/2/4), Damage: Variable, Qualities: Multiforge, Blast Weapon (3), Variable
- Multiforge: Every time you fire this weapon, you can choose to crank the multiforge's power level to low, medium, high, or overdrive output. The multiforge's power level affects the grenades available. At the end of each round where this weapon is fired, roll a number of dice equal to the number next to the power level. If any triples are rolled, the weapon can't be used for the rest of combat. New grenades can be discovered through research and added to the multiforge.
- Low Power (1): Frag and Krak Grenades
- Medium (3): Frag, Krak, Toxic, and Plasma Grenades
- High (3): Frag, Krak, Toxic, Plasma, Choke, Photon, Melta, and Psychotrope Grenades
- Overdrive (7): Frag, Krak, Toxic, Plasma, Choke, Photon, Melta, Psychotrope, Vortex, Psykout, and Stasis Grenades
- Blast Weapon (3): When firing this weapon at enemies with the Horde(X) trait, multiply the damage rolled for this weapon by 3 times the X in the Horde(X) trait.

A good rule for warp shit is have a hand to handweapon plus Swords are awesome in 40k especially Primarch swords from 30k plus this is the only thing meant for close combat since everything either fires or is thrown

Sword is always good. And great melee weapons are needed in 40k since Greater Daemons and the like can pop up at the most inopportune time.

Seems very useful and versatile. And AFAIK no Primarch has ranged explosive weaponry as his main ranged weapon.
And I'm against the weapon forged by Fulgrim because this being 40k it may well retroactively gain Chaos taint.
Or it'll piss off Guilliman.
The one person who's support we need to rejoin the Imperium in its hour of need.
Or do you folks not remember that Guilliman was poisoned and nearly killed by Fulgrim?
Both Russ' gift and Fulgrim's will likely have narrative effect on interactions. Guilliman will damn well recognize the make on sight.
