I'm not going to weigh in on the logic of either side's arguments, but I will ask that everyone read over what they write and really consider if the words they used are polite and won't be inflammatory intentionally or not. You cant account for people's tolerances perfectly but at least try to say your piece without saying things that can be easily construed as overly dismissive of the other side of the argument, thank you.

I don't understand?
Do you mean we have evidence that she hasn't invented it. Evidence that she is unable to invent it. Or both?

Runes aren't immediately discovered once a runesmith levels up enough, if she's never actually tried to invent it why would we expect the fact that she hasn't to prove anything about her skill.
Especially since the way it will probably be discovered goes:
Mangle MConduction into MForgeflame significantly decreasing its usefulness until we discovered one weird application.
Simplify the generally useless MForgeflame into lesser forgeflame.
Make a combo with that. We didn't do this, Karstah did.
Compress and then simplyify the combo. We haven't done this yet.

Most runesmiths also probably don't care about power generation as much as we do. For them, runes like flameward already exist that handle fire protection perfectly well. They don't need to squeeze every last drop of performance out of their runes. Snorri and the Brotherhood are really the only group that works with processes with high heat, magic, and major inefficiency that actually care about that waste.

From the magic side of things, flamedrinking is a super specialized version of general antimagic runes of which there are so many effective and broad solutions already available that there's not many people who'd need to even try.
