I'm not going to weigh in on the logic of either side's arguments, but I will ask that everyone read over what they write and really consider if the words they used are polite and won't be inflammatory intentionally or not. You cant account for people's tolerances perfectly but at least try to say your piece without saying things that can be easily construed as overly dismissive of the other side of the argument, thank you.

Guys, if we remove our wife's Conversion combo Talisman, what exactly are we going to be using for magic resistance? Other than innate Dwarf stubbornness which, well, fine but... it's not runic-magic-resistance though.

Also, darn, I wanted to see a Talisman using the MPurification rune, especially since it got updated a bit too.

Casting the Rune lets the user periodically do the same to a target of their choosing while also intensifying the effect by drawing on ambient Aqshy. You've been using this Rune, not incorrectly, but inefficiently.

Making it effectively a magic cycling by way of magic resistance talisman. Hell, the purging of magic could be a way of cycling away any magic that gets tossed at you or thrown into the storm that the cloak kicks up; any magic that is around, would be converted into heat and fire instead. It would only add to the theme of elemental powers. Make it even more volcano-like. Then, probably that extra fire would probably be channeled right into Zharrgal instead; it's perfect. The Talisman would absorb and purify magic, and any heat would probably just go into powering up Zharrgal's abilities. MPurification + Spell(burning? eating? turning) + Warding or something like that. Or maybe Grimnir, for his wrath. Or Fury. Not sure.

@BungieONI, could you be convinced to use a "MPurification + Spite + Gazul's Flame" combo instead of a Master Rune of Spite?

Also, @soulcake, the rune description of MPurification in the Talisman section of the Rune List in the Information tab, still has this previous description:
Used to create Adamant, the Rune flushes out impure magic in a way that produces enough radiant heat energy to melt the Pure Gromril bar.

We aren't removing the other talisman. We can have multiple talismans equipped st the same time.

I had assumed that you can only have 2 weapons (or 1 weapon and 1 shield, or 1 2-handed weapon), 1 armor, 1 Banner/Cloak, and 1 Talisman. Alternatively, you could have 2 Talismans instead of a Banner, I think though am not 100% sure on that. Also you could have one of your weapons be a runestaff instead, and a runestaff uses Talisman runes.

But I was pretty sure we were limited to just 1 equipped Talisman at a time?

The 2 weapons, 1 armor, 1 Banner/Cloak, and 1 Talisman are for set combo's. Anything else we might make, like this Talisman, will not be apart of that and they can not combo on their own. It will be like the eye that Snerra made for us.

We don't have Regular Spite.

Nope. The slots are what Soul uses to track Sets. A set can only have 5 pieces as you say, with those pieces in certain categories.

But we can have as many pieces of kit as we want.

I don't like how expurgation has only one point spent on Drakk rearing. I don't want to fall behind on that.
