I'm not going to weigh in on the logic of either side's arguments, but I will ask that everyone read over what they write and really consider if the words they used are polite and won't be inflammatory intentionally or not. You cant account for people's tolerances perfectly but at least try to say your piece without saying things that can be easily construed as overly dismissive of the other side of the argument, thank you.

Sven would be very fun cause he's got Vitality master runes, and I've been wanting those for like a year now I think.

We can likely get this out of the Brynna Rune trade at the end of this war turn.
Well unless there are even nicer things we want from that instead.

I'd still like Sven because he is fun to read, and is one of the Runelords likely to be willing to put his name to the university.
which is probably our bigger litmus test for who we can get to collaborate on it in the first place.

At the early point we're going to have our own runes and our apprentices, but at the Runelord tier I'm expecting only Dwalin, Lorna, and the Dorden two to be stepping up to do anything for the early centuries.

It's less about making them offers, then it is them deciding to throw in their lot with us.

Potentially, but she's not the one whose visibly demonstrated having it and from her I'm more interested in esoterica related to formation defense and Rune Casting. Banner stuff mostly is how I'd put it.

Fair enough, we'll know yes or no by the end of the turn anyway.
I'm just treating it as quite common, as it turned up in two of our three rune trades so far. I suppose it's just as possible the Valma is just off trading it to everyone who knows her, as she is the common link for everyone we know who has it.

I'm betting heavily on the esoterica being in talismans rather than banners, just because that is where she has the really interesting speciality.
Talismanic Rune Subset: Gold and Oathgold (Exceptional)

That, armour (Her main specialty) and possible oathgold fluff (The reagent for MGrungni, the rune we're best with.)

Our banners are pretty good already.

If we ever get to trade with Sven I will be hoping to push up our horribly anaemic three artillery Master Runes we have available. Especially as only one of them is offensive.
 
Not gona lie, the only reason why I dislike the idea of making a pegasus gronti is because it sounds very undwarfy.
Keep in mind Snorry has never heard of a dawi riding something into battle, and even if he wanted to do it I fell like it will be a brana.
Dawi do not even have horses but ponyes and donkeys, but even then, they keep them as a pack animal not a ridden one.
It is a very good idea power wise, maybe not the best basend on the one making it.
 
Can someone tell me what we got from Morgrim? Cause I thought we got stuff from all 7 Ancestor Gods and I only see 6.
