I'm not going to weigh in on the logic of either side's arguments, but I will ask that everyone read over what they write and really consider if the words they used are polite and won't be inflammatory intentionally or not. You cant account for people's tolerances perfectly but at least try to say your piece without saying things that can be easily construed as overly dismissive of the other side of the argument, thank you.

That we take advantage of this and take up "ORDER: Tier 4 Greedy Troll Heart" thing.

I want to start ordering some high-tier Greedy Troll Hearts for big Gronti boosts... though technically, we could also use them on the Master Rune of the Unyielding, couldn't we? Huh... Maybe even on the Master Rune of Vitality too. But nevermind, this is for the Gronti ambitions!

I'm actually down for that as well, incidentally.

Ordering a T4 Greedy Troll Heart should take a while given that it's a T4, and also gives us a head start on stockpiling the mats for the Valiant now that we're approaching the general ballpark of necessary Adamant stockpiles, I think.

What are we using it for?

There's enough gronti designs floating around I'm extremely dubious of the matter and I don't want to sit on another heart just restart the gronti arguments again.

I figure that...

If people know that they aren't limited to just one super-rare and irreplacable ingredient, like the Tier 5 Heart was, they'll be more willing to compromise or to at least wait their turn for their cool Gronti idea.

The Tier 4 Greedy Troll Hearts are different, basically, because you can buy multiples of them. The original heart was a one of a kind.

We can try out multiple ideas. Everybody can, slowly, get satisfied by it.

Whereas they never could before, because there was only one Tier 5 Heart.

Whichever Gronti idea wins the Idea-bowl argument-off, I suppose.

There's lots of cool ideas. If people want to try many of them, that just means we should get more Hearts so we could do more of them.

From another approach though...

We just had a Rune-trade all about upgrading our understanding of MWaking. (I wanted the Perception/Quick Wits runes instead, but "all-in on MWaking!" turned out to be more popular.) Why the heck did we bother doing that, if we weren't intending to make a kickflipping Gronti of some sort? Are we planning on sitting on the fruits of that knowledge trade forever, too?


If people like Grontis so much, and have so many ideas for them, why the heck shouldn't we buy some Greedy Troll hearts, so we could actually make their dreams come true?

Like... Why refrain from it?
"Everybody wants to see a Gronti; everybody thinks Gronti are awesome; we've been collecting Gronti knowledge for a bit" Therefore... --> "But nobody can agree on a specific one, so we shouldn't buy a T4 ingredient for it."


Make one Griffon Gronti. Make one Dragon Ogre Gronti. Make one or two Dwarf Gronti. Buy a superior Greedy Troll Heart for each one, purchased over half a century each turn. Make all the Gronti ideas.
