Prologue of the prologue.
And thus, the thing got made.
Please note — Revan's character is light-sided here (SWTOR canon, and so on), keep that in mind while voting. If one of the Imperial backgrounds wins, it will be played accordingly.
==================
You are Revan, and you are fighting.

You don't know what are you fighting for. You don't know who are you fighting with. You don't know where are your friends and companions, and even where are you. But there is one thing you know for certain — your enemy must die.

He is not willing to die, however. You fight for what seems like ages, slashing, parrying and using Force to bring the scum down with little success. He blocks every your attack, evades every your attempt to use the Force against him and leaves a little jab or cut every time he attacks. The surroundings are illuminated only by your sabers, but you can see — you can feel — the thick aura surrounding him. The aura of pure darkness.

He is stronger than you, that you have to admit. The dark side gives him strength while you can't reach a single ounce of light in wherever you are. You are wounded, tired and alone, while your enemy seems fresh as new on his home turf. Yet you still fight, like you fought Mandalore, like you fought Malak, like you fought...

You suddenly remember who are you fighting right now.

The enemy hisses in surprise as your sudden charge knocks him off balance, and roars as your saber cuts his hand clean. He unleashes a lightning, throwing you away, but most of it is absorbed by your sword, and you remain on your feet. You leap towards him, landing behind his back and turning towards him with a slash bastard's barely able to dodge. You advance with a quick series of swings, putting the enemy on defensive as he tries to repel your strikes with the Force and gets jabbed every time he's not quick enough.

You won't pull off such charge again — you know it, and you put everything in your roundhouse kick as the enemy gets the air knocked out of his lungs and falls down. Flipping your saber, you aim it at the wicked heart.

Your enemy blocks the attack with the Force, trying to fend your lightsaber off. But you use the Force too, and the beam of light reaches his chest, going deeper as you press on. The enemy screams in despair as your saber pierces the flesh--

And then you're suddenly pulled far away, away from your enemy and the long-awaited victory that was nearly in your grasp.

Well, shit.

===================
Landing — if the process you just went through could be called landing — went badly. Every muscle in your body is in pain, even the ones you never felt before. You're surrounded by cacaphony, your sight is a blur, and your nose burns as if you just tried to hug Zaalbar. You are twitching like sick, and even as your senses come back to you, you still feel like you've been tossed through a Star Forge conveyor belt. Oh, and your enemy is still alive... Who was he, by the way?

You try to reach out for memories, but find none — last thing you remember for certain is Republic brass awarding you with a Cross of Glory. After that you can only remember the battle with enemy.

Deciding to deal with your second amnesia later, you get up from the floor and realise one rather peculiar thing — your body still feels alien to you. After a brief examination you realise a less peculiar and more terrifying thing. You are in the wrong body.

You gasp, drinking in the realisation. Right after you get over it, you thoroughly explore the mind, trying to find traces of the body's rightful owner. You find nothing, no matter how hard you search. Still, you are disturbed — not to the point of hysteria, you're the Revan after all, but disturbed.

Well, at least the gender matches up. What gender were you before, by the way?

[]Male
[]Female
[]Gender is a lie, there is only passion

Yeah, it would be hard to forget that. Now, you get to analyze your surroundings. Where in the Force have you wound up?

Prologue I, How Pathetic You Are
"I'm telling you, he's not dead, Wydr. He's breathing!"

"Leave him alone, brother. And you too, girl. He might be a rakghoul."

"Of course he's not a rakghoul, he would've turned by now."

"Like you know!"

"Shut up, you mongrels."

"But Ffon..."

"Shut up, or I'll kill him, you and anyone who dares disturb my rest. That clear?"

"Hey, can you hear me?"

You're finally able to focus. You are in a shuttle, surrounded by young people in familiar robes. Next to you is a redhead girl with blue eyes and a nasty scar on her left cheek. She stares at you with a visible concern.

"Yes... Yes, I can hear you." You shake your head and get up into the seat. "What happened to me?"

"I'm not sure, you fell off your seat and started twitching." Someone sniffs in disgust, but girl ignores it. "Then you just stared in the ceiling for a couple of minutes. Did you have such seizures before?"

"I'll gladly cause him another one if you both keep talking."

This is a Sith. And not just the darksider — he's an actual Sith, whose species should be long extinct by now. Where are you even flying to?

"Look, you have to see a medic when we reach the Academy." Whispers girl, getting back to her seat. "It's not normal to just collapse and--"

Shuttle suddenly comes in for landing, forcing both you and girl to hold tight onto the seats. The door opens, and some dust is carried inside with the wind. You get up and move out along with others.

Your whereabouts become clear the moment you leave shuttle — bad old Korriban, in all its dusty glory. You're still not sure why the Academy is here, since remnants of Malak's army nearly tore it in half after the Star Forge...

Passing by, Sith casually punches you in the shoulder and walks on. Well, at least the acolytes didn't change. You sign and rush towards other acolytes, who got way ahead of you.

"Ah, the last one to arrive is finally here. I hope you don't think you're special." The man in overseer garb gives you a disgustful glare as the Sith walks past him and goes into the Academy's building. "It would be a shame if freedom got into your head, or you somehow got the idea you didin't need to pass your trials to become Sith."

Given all the havoc you wrecked on Korriban during your first trials, going for a second run wouldn't be a bad idea.

Overseer mumbles something about your trials while others leave. To be brief, there's a hermit named Spindrall in Ajunta Pall's tomb who should test you. Oh, and you're pathetic. At some point you switch off, keeping an ear out for something really interesting and giving answers in autopilot mode.

"...Don't make Spindrall wait, slave".

Relieved, you leave and venture inside the Academy only to find yourself face to face with a shuttle girl in one of the corridors.

"Glad to see you're fine, I thought overseer zapped you or something." She offers you a hand. "I'm Kory".

[] Write in your 'name'
[] Darth Revan, pleased to meet you.

Prologue II, A Friendly Face?
"Revan." You shake her hand. "Nice to meet someone friendly here." (For a change, you want to add, but timely stop yourself)

Still, Kory looks at you as if you just said something very dangerous. "Oh. That's a weird choice of a name, if I may say so."

Looking about for any too curious Sith, you shrug. "Well, my parents were a big fan of him, and I didn't have any saying in the matter back then."

"I... see." Kory seems to relax a bit. "Look, we still have to check the infirmary first. I don't think this Spindrall has much to do these days..."

"We?"

"Yes, I hope you don't mind the company. If you collapse again, someone will have to make sure you don't bite your tongue off. You don't actually mind the company, do you?"

"Hmph." You weign your answer. "You know, Kory, it's strange to find someone so friendly in the Academy."

"I'm just sticking to the oath. Can't leave a sick man unattended, you know".

Kory seems to be talking round some corners, and as far as you know, "competitive spirit" of the acolytes could take unusual shapes. But on the other hand, she actually seems friendly. Perhaps, you could apply the Force to find out whether she's sincere or not... But she might sense your efforts, and besides — that would be rude, don't you think?

[] Check Kory's sincerity with the Force (Write in how exactly)
[] Just trust her for now and see what happens.

[] Okay, let's go. You know where the infirmary is, don't you?
[] I don't think it would be wise to ignore the trials right now. Let's go find this Spindrall.

[] Discuss something along the way. (Write in)

Prologue III, A Trial Gone South
[X] Just trust her for now and see what happens.

[X] I don't think it would be wise to ignore the trials right now. Let's go find this Spindrall.

[X] Discuss current events, try to get a feel for what's going on in the galaxy.

====================

"I think we should pass the trial first. This overseer guy looks like he's just waiting for a reason to zap us to death, and I don't want to give him one."

"Makes sense, I guess." Kory shrugs. "Hope this Spindrall didn't get eaten by K'lor'slugs."

***
"So, what's that oath you mentioned?" You ask, as the two of you walk to the tomb.

"I was a nurse on my homeworld back in the day. Our senior always said we should stick to the oath — he never actually quoted the oath, but helping sick people was definitely a part of it. And, if I may say so, you looked really sick on the ship."

You chuckle. "Well, I could never imagine they would take me to Korriban one day. Might be the stress."

"Yeah, I was surprised too. They say that Sith are always pureblood nobles, and riff raff like us can never reach their level... But here we are. Guess another war is coming."

"With Republic?" You take a wild guess. Who else can Sith be at war with?

"Yup. It was kinda obvious that peace wouldn't last long." Kory signs. "Taxes probably will rise again."

"I don't know, it looked pretty solid to me."

"Are you serious? Everyone knows we won the war after capturing Coruscant, and even before that it was the Jedi Order who actually proposed peace. Why would they do it, if not to avoid defeat?"

Okay, this sounds bad. If the war came to Coruscant, then Sith have invaded the Core Worlds, and things rolled so bad that Republic's capital was attacked and captured. And it wasn't even you who led the charge!

"Guess so. Hey, that seems to be our tomb." You point at one of the underground entrances, quickly changing the subject. "Ladies first?"

***
Twenty minutes and a dozen k'lor'slugs later, you finally enter the chambers of Spindrall. Spindrall himself sits on a large elevated platform before some broken sarcofagus.

"Slaves", says an old man, getting up off his knees as you go up stairs. "Welcome to my humble hole. You are here for you trial, yes?"

"Achoo!" You sneeze unwittingly. Somehow this place got even dustier than you remember it.

"Bless you", whispers Kory. Spindrall shakes his head.

"You know, we actually came here to get some fresh air. But it seems we picked the wrong plaaah-achoo!"

"Do you take me for a fool, slave?" The irritation grows in Spindrall's voice. "I am not to be mocked, especially by you."

"We're sorry, Lord Spindrall. I assure you, my fellow acolyte had no intention of mocking you." Kory tries to plead for you while you confront your smell. For some reason Spindrall grows even more frustrated.

"Prepare to pass the trial or blood or prepare to die. Foils ready, slaves!" With this, he Force pushes you down the stairs, and you count all fourteen of them during the fall.

Six hooded creeps around the hall reach for their foils, while you get up to your feet. Your back hurts, and you don't like the way Kory is holding her hip. Time to decide on your tactics, and quickly.

[] Don't hold back — acolytes or not, they are still Sith, and they won't be nice. It would also be good to check if you're as strong as you were before.
[] Fight like an acolyte — if you charge them at full blast, Spindrall might suspect something. Besides, this is Kory's trial too, and she needs to prove herself.
[] (Write in your own tactics.)

Prologue IV, Except Not Really
[X] Don't hold back — acolytes or not, they are still Sith, and they won't be nice. It would also be good to check if you're as strong as you were before.
-[X] Also, take down Spindly too. You're pretty sure that's an automatic pass on any Sith tests, so it shouldn't be a problem later.
=======================

"Kory, stay back. I'll handle it." You square your shoulders as acolytes approach.

The furthest two leap towards you — first is slammed into a wall, second is thrown to a ceiling and falls down dead as you charge others head-on.

Hit. Foil slams acolyte's ribs. Dodge. Two lighnings miss you as you roll out of danger. Block. Strong physically, but rash. Block. Riposte, hit the hand, hit the neck, break both. Push. One acolyte's out of the way. Hit, hit, see the opening, slam the knee, lightning hits you in the back. Wall-slammed acolyte is up, and three are coming towards away. Force Push. Now they're flying away from you. You throw the foil, aiming at standing acolyte's head, but miss — too heavy. However, said acolyte is distracted long enough to be hit pretty hard by Kory. You smile and focus on the others.

First one to get up is knocked down for good by a Force-strengthened hook. Second tries lightning, but you face him close by and redirect the jolt in his face, then throw him towards a knee-capped acolyte who (unsuccessfully) tries to get up. Third runs towards you foil atilt, and you give him a little boost, grabbing acolyte with the Force and throwing him a little past yourself into a dummy. Both dummy and acolyte are broken.

With the last gasp of acolyte, interrupted by Kory's hit in the head, the trial of blood is over.

"You... The way you are fighting..." You nod over to Kory, who stares at the acolyte's corpse. You hope Spindrall won't pay attention to...

"YOU'RE FIGHTING LIKE A JEDI!"

Oops, he actually paid attention.

You manage to react quicker than him — as Spindrall reaches for his lightsaber, you reach for him with the Force and toss the old man down the stairs, stepping on his hand as he falls near you.

"Trial's over." You pull Spindrall's lightsaber in your hand and pierce his heart. Not the most ethical way, but at least there are no witnesses. "Kory, are you okay?"

"Y-yes." Kory nods ansiously. "It's just... Did you have to murder him?"

"He was going to attack us, so yes, I did." You try to pick words carefully. "One must always be ready to strike first while dealing with Sith, preferably before they fuck things up."

"You do realise we're supposed to become Sith?" Kory seems to relax a bit, although you're not sure if she accepted your reasoning.

"There are always some exceptions to confirm the rule. Alright, let's get out of here, we passed the trial anyway."

Now that you've killed everyone, what's your next step?

[] Report back to Harkun. You wonder if he scores you extra points for Spindrall's death.
[] Check the infirmary. Kory's hip still doesn't look good, and besides, health is precious.
[] Search around for shenanigans waiting to happen. It's Sith Academy, there surely must be some.

Prologue V, Good Finds, Bad Omens
...or more.
ANYWAYS

[X] Loot Spindrall's place for medical supplies to help Kory, and keep the lightsaber and anything else that looks like it might be useful or best kept out of the hands of the Sith. Might makes right is the basically the first Sith rule, so all of this stuff is yours.
-[X] If she still looks like she needs medical attention, then take her to the infirmary. Harkun can wait, and if he has a problem with it, then he can take it up with your new lightsaber.

"I'm not sure I can get out of here." Kory winces and sits on a piece of rubble. "Do you think Spindrall had any medpacs?"

"Probably. I'll look around, see what I can find."

(Medpac roll: 8)

Looking around, you gather several medpacs of varying quality and a weak battlestim. Probably will do.

"Let me see... Yes, that should do it. Thanks." Kory takes the bigger medpac and looks at you apologetically. "Could you look another way, please? I can't administer kolto through the clothing."

(Mystery roll: 9)

"Sure thing." Looking away, you notice something — there's a little opening behind the broken sarcophagus, and dim light is coming out of it. Kory seems to notice it too.

"What's over there?"

"Don't know yet. Give me a minute, okay?"

You slowly walk through the opening, looking warily for any traps or security systems. However, there seems to be none, and you find yourself in a small room that Spindrall must have used as his personal apartment. A feeble lamp casts light on the table filled with some instruments, the bad and the wall chocked up with war trophies.

Boy, so many trophies.

Two banners of Alderaan noble houses, three different insignias of Republic military officers, hand-made decoy blasters, battered holocrons and above all — a propped lightsaber with inscription below "Belth Allusis, Bothawui".

"Hey there! Have you found anything?"

"More than just anything." You grab lightsaber and activate it... Well, you try, it doesn't work. Slightly embarassed, you put it near Spindrall's saber and look out. First thing you see is Kory (clothes on. thankfully, going through Spindrall's pockets.

"Not sure why would he need credits in this sinkhole, but he had plenty." Kory shows you credit chips. "What's in the room?"

"Memorabilias, mostly. Spindrall had quite a collection of trinkets. I haven't yet examined everything, but it looks good and it's all ours now. I'll search again, see what we can salvage."

Kory nods, and you go back to the room.

(Spoiler roll: 8)

Holocrons are broken beyond any repair, insignias are useless, and decoy blasters are... well, decoys. Frustrated by your poor findings, you shift your attention to the table. It's a real mess — seriously, what kind of person would use paper of all things for writing things down? — but this mess shares a common pattern. Tulak Hord.

Spindrall has researched him quite thoroughly, paying most attention to the artifacts he left behind and his Dark Side practics, especially «transfer essence», that was implied to be a method of projecting thr mind into others' bodies — which in theory sounded intriguing; unfortunately, concrete information on the matter was sparce. A few notes were devoted to his military conquests and some species called "Dashade", but they were even more ambigious. And there was one piece of paper with a headline "Zash" that you almost miss. The weirdest one, probably.

"A Sith apprentice of low birth will confront ̶ ̶u̶n̶k̶n̶o̶w̶n̶ ̶S̶i̶t̶h̶ ̶L̶o̶r̶d̶ ̶(̶a̶ ̶s̶p̶e̶c̶i̶f̶i̶c̶ ̶m̶a̶s̶k̶,̶ ̶c̶h̶e̶c̶k̶ ̶w̶i̶t̶h̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶a̶r̶c̶h̶i̶v̶e̶s̶)̶̶Lord (Anastasius? Aloysius? Alexius?) Kallig in the Dark Temple. Apprentice will win over the spirit and gain the knowledge of Tulak Hord.

What a bunch of crap."

"Bunch of crap" is actually underlined twice — probably to show the density. Well, you're starting to see the connection, but things still could make a bit more sense.

"Anything interesting?" Kory squeezes into the room. You hardly see any signs of the pain in her hip.

[]"Here's what I got. Look quick if you want."
[]"Nothing important."

[]What are you gonna do?

Prologue VI, Alright, Really South
[X]"Nothing important."

[X] Head back and tell the instructor you've completed the task
=====================

"Not unless you're planning to sell any of this." You don't think Kory should be told about your findings, especially since you're not sure what to make of them yet. "Hip's better?"

"Yes, and I still have some spare medpacs. Look... What shall we tell to the Overseer?"

"The truth — that we completed the trial."

"But we weren't supposed to kill Spindrall! Harkun will never believe that we fought in self-defense, and he'll do anything to clear a path for the pureblood!"

"It's not like I had much of a choice, okay!" Alright, when put like that, the situation looked really sour. "Spindrall got crazy and had to be put down, there is nothing we can do about that. And even if we cover this up, Overseer will frame us anyway."

"Then what shall we do?"

"Confront Harkun. Directly. That's the only thing we can do right now that won't get us busted at once, and the sooner we do it, the better."

"We're acolytes, and he is Sith."

"He's also an overconfident prick that doesn't expect anything serious from "scum" like us. We can take him down together, Kory, you and me."

"Oh... You'd better be worthy of your name then, Revan. Anything less will get us killed."

***
You and Kory walk into the chambers, where most of the acolytes have already gathered in front of the Overseer. He looks unsurprisingly disdainful.

"Slaves." He turns towards you as others watch in fear. "Since you're late, I assume you have failed?"

"On the contrary, we did perfectly well. We have passed the trial of blood that Spindrall gave us. Spindrall himself didn't pass it, however."

"What did you just say?" Harkun instantly drops all pretense. "Repeat."

"Spindrall is dead." Kory comes in, as you have planned. "He attacked us after we killed all of his acolytes, but we proved stronger..."

"We?" Harkun smiles. "No-no, acolyte Kory, a spineless piece of dirt like you would never best the trial, let alone Spindrall himself. But your friend is something different. He would be the one to dare defying our traditions and killing a Sith much purer than himself. And he would be the one to face punishment for such a crime."
Secret roll: 10
A lightning hits you in the back before you can answer. Someone screams, and then another hits you in the chest. You fall to the ground, shocked and paralyzed, as blood from your bitten tongue fills the mouth.

"I know what you have thought — «All Sith backstab and fight each other! I can do this too!» There is one little difference, however." Recites Harkon as you lie on the floor, twitching. "You are not Sith and you never will be one."

"Can I kill him, Overseer?"

"Not now, Ffon. Zap him again if he tries something stupid. By the way, acolytes — take a good look at Ffon. Ffon comes from a noble bloodline. His ancestors have long served the Emperor and the Dark Side. His blood has more Force in it than in all of you combined, even with this scumbag taken into account." Harkun slams your hand with his shoe. "We are not Jedi, who give a saber to every idiot that can hold it properly. Our gift of the Dark Side has been refined and strengthened for generations, and our veins hold legacy of the first Sith that were born on Korriban. Your veins hold nothing buuaaAAAAAAAGH AAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!"

Through red mist you can see Harkun, shouting like a madman as he's set on fire that consumes his body with unnatural speed. Someone shouts curses behind you while other acolytes literally jump out of harm's way as the burning Overseer rushes past them, to the Academy's corridors and forth. Something explodes with a bang, and Ffon falls near you, his disfigured face winding up right in front of yours. Last thing you see before blacking out is some white ooze dripping from his socket.

Last thing you sense before blacking out is a disturbance in the Force coming from Kory.

Prologue VII, One Step From Darkness
"Do you really think it is a good idea?"

"No, to be honest. But I don't have anything better."

Carth takes a sip of brandy. He's exhausted, you can feel that — and he can feel that you can feel. A shame he refused the training.

"So, let me recap — you are going all alone to the fringe of the galaxy to personally combat a fuckton of Sith without any means of retreat."

"I'll take T3."

"Yeah, that surely evens the odds."

"Carth... If we bring the whole Republic fleet and Jedi Order to the unknown regions, they will respond with full force and Force. And since both Republic fleet and Jedi Order aren't anywhere near recovery, you can figure how well it would go."

"And if they trap you on your one-man crusade, won't they know that their cover is blown?"

"It's not about cover, Carth. If they wanted to conquer the Republic, they would do that right after we defeated Malak. They have something more complicated in mind, and I must find out what exactly."

"But--"

"And I'm not risking any of you. Republic needs you, Carth. Bastilla... Bastilla and Juhani are needed by the Jedi. Candarous is needed by the Mandalorians. Mission and Zaalbar had enough with the war. Jolee had enough with everything."

"And HK-47?"

"Well, he will do, but I'll have to give him a self-destruction protocol. If Sith reverse engineer him, then the galaxy is surely doomed!"

You both chuckle.

"Oh, he seems to be awakening. You were right, my Lord, he was very quick to recover."

"Um, Carth?"

"Force him?" Carth looks confused himself. "Well, if you insist..."

***
You awaken, dazzled and shocked, as your sight goes all blurry. The Force is still with you, so you scan your surroundings by instinct. Immediately you feel the Dark Side near you — there's a powerful Sith near you. But what do you feel exactly?

[] Being watched. Sith itself is examining you, trying to look into your soul. What's worse, you don't know how successful he was before you awoke.
[] Rot. Whoever standing near you is poisoned by the Dark Side, and poisoned so deeply the flesh itself decays.
[] Fear. Sith is emanating terror with his very essence, sendind chills down your spine, and his control of the Force surpasses everything you have ever seen.
========================
And here the fun starts.

[X] Rot. Whoever standing near you is poisoned by the Dark Side, and poisoned so deeply the flesh itself decays.
===================

"...ear me, acolyte?"

For some disturbing seconds you can't stop seeing the Sith for what she really is — a literally rotting piece of human being.

"Yes, my Lord." You get a hold on yourself and stop looking through the illusion. With it Sith looks like a rather nice woman, albeit a bit stinky. Is that the Dark Side as well?

"Splendid. Get up, then." Sith nods to the doctor who tries to pretend he's not there. "Good doctor says you've almost recovered, and we have already suffered a major delay you'll be making up for."

"Make up how, Lord...?"

"Zash. Oh, and I hope you're happy about the Overseer — he made a big mess of himself before he died."

"Overseer Harkun exploded?"
(Damage roll = 10)
"No, the flames just spread from him." Zash giggles a bit. "Overseer crossed half of the Academy while being on fire, so the fire spread to seven guardsmen, an Inquisitor that was here on some business, Overseer Ragate, three soldiers and a Sith Lord who cut him down. Then the Sith Lord got set on fire and burned another two guardsmen. And then the fire alarm went off. It was hilarious, honestly."

She seems to be too cheery for a Sith Lord. Probably another layer of disguise or some mental illness, but that's nice for a change anyway.

"So!" Zash claps her hands. "Your fellow acolyte has found a very curious text that leads to a tomb of Naga Sadow you will have the honor to breach. Said tomb contains a map I'd like to obtain, and if you bring it to me, I'll consider making you make my second apprentice. What do you say?"

"Second one?"

"Well, I'm not losing a girl who can set people on fire. Oh, and there's one more thing — you have missed your chance at interrogation trial. Luckily for you, there is a Jedi in the interrogation room who's just dying to see a friendly face. Find inquisitor Urinth if you're interested — I don't think she got crisped along with others. And hurry up!"

Before you have a chance to answer, she leaves the infirmary. Well, that went nice.

Doctor nods at your clothes, hanging from a hook in the wall. You reach out for them, considering your next move. There is this tomb you'll have to scout if you want to get out of this planet conventional way, there is "girl who sets people on fire" you probably should talk to... And what in the Force was a Jedi doing on Korriban?

Well, you hardly have time to do everything. So, here goes the choice:

[] Go to the tomb of Naga Sadow. Shouldn't have any delays on that one.
[] Look out for Kory. Last time you've seen her, she pulled a very powerful stunt, and you know from experience it doesn't do well to the mental health.
[] Find inquisitor Urinth. Seriously, a Jedi on Korriban?

Prologue IX, Of Terror
Sorry, I got seriously stuck on that one.
[X] Look out for Kory. Last time you've seen her, she pulled a very powerful stunt, and you know from experience it doesn't do well to the mental health.
=========================
You reach out for Kory, trying to feel the trace she left in the Force. It's easily recognisable, and you pick it up rather quickly — she's in one of the sanctuaries down below. Her trace is faint though, and overshadowed by the stars what is that thing?!

For a moment there, you felt a disturbance in the Force — wait, no, this thing is not a disturbance. This is an outright blasphemy. You haven't sensed so much concentrated darkness since the Star Forge, and boy, the Star Forge was sick. To think it is with Kory right now...
44 —Lost the trace, still close.
You reach out into the robe. Both lighsabers, working and broken, are there. Good. You get up and rush out of the infirmary, much to the relief of the doctor.

***
Acolytes and Sith walk by as you examine the elevator leading to the lower levels. Wherever Kory is, this place will surely be guarded, so you'll have to improvise or bust your way in... But do you need to?

You consider this for a moment. You're in the middle of a Sith Academy, there is no one to provide cover, and the Sith here seem to be much stronger than during your last visit, not to mention whatever the fuck got Kory. The fight may turn bad for you.

And yet, you can't just leave an innocent person — especially the person who saved your life — to the mercy of Force. You can do this. You've faced worse odds. (Probably) And why the hell aren't you doing anything?!

You gallantly enter the elevator and press the only button on panel. Elevator slowly goes down as the dark presence becomes stronger, and when it arrives you feel Dark Side in the air — quite literally. It feels like they've been dumping here Sith Lords who didn't get their own tombs.

Doors open, and you enter the corridor. It's eery here, despite the presence of guards — heavily augmented and unnaturally silent, they just stand there in completely identical poses, their gazes fixed upon each other's foreheads. They pay no attention as you walk past them, lightsaber at the ready.

Kory is near, you can feel it. Her presence in the Force is erratic, overshadowed by this. It feels even worse up close; you can feel no traces of passion that are common for Sith, just cold, complete evil and...

- Come in.

Alright, the time is nigh. You enter the main chamber and almost immediately see Kory. Then you see a Sith.

- So, you have come for your fellow. I expected as much, — a towering Dark Lord stares you down, white mask and serene voice devoiding him of anything resembling emotion. The Force is agonizing near him, just like Kory. She stands straight near his table, tearful and shaken, looking at you with animal fear in her eyes.

- I'm sorry for intrusion and ignorance, my Lord, but who are you?

- Your ignorance is truly worth being sorry for, acolyte, — His voice is followed by some sort of echo in the Force, and it feels painful to your ears. — I am Darth Jadus, Dark Councilor of Imperial Intelligence. And you both are untold potential, waiting to be exploited.

Damn. Not good.

- I know why you came, — Darth is still calm, yet the darkness surrounding him grows even thicker. — You think you owe something to this girl because she got you out of trouble. But she is now mine, no matter what others say, and all the obligations before her are now passed to me.

Kory starts whimpering for a moment, but Jadus snaps his fingers, and she grows silent again.

- The girl is mine now — she is weak, and her petty moral is holding her back. But I will fix that. I will purge the venom of light out of her heart and replace it with a seed of darkness. She will be destroyed, rid of anything redundant and then born anew. She will be an extension of me, a fiery embodiment of terror that our beloved Empire stands upon.

- Why are you telling me this?

- Because I offer the same fate to you.

You are rightfully stunned.

- You are strong as well, acolyte. I can feel that. But there is something wrong inside you, something broken deep down. I could fix you — but if you resist, the result might get ugly for you. Join me willingly, and you'll become a part of something more than a deluded witch's coven.

Well, shit. Any ideas?

[] Maybe you can talk Darth Jadus down. Give him some reason why you (both of you, preferably) are of more use to him not-brainwashed. (Write In)
[] Refuse and leave. Confrontation is too dangerous, and you barely have anything to offer him. Kory will be left on her own.
[] Accept. Being one of Jadus' cadre might open new opportunities, and with luck, you can help Kory.
[] Fuck everything, it's time to make some noise. Of course, you'll be facing a powerful Sith, his guards and many-many other angry sentients, but hey, it's been worse! Right?
