You do not know who you are, where you are, or how you got here... all you know is that you're blind, injured, and were definitely left here to die... oh and right now you're tied up with something. What do you plan on doing?​

Your name is -chromix-, or at least it's the handle you have settled on. You are a developer... of sorts. You're currently at the console, which you'll be using for the majority of your projects. For now, you're trying to get used to the console, and by that you mean you haven't pressed or touched anything. Now seems like a good time to do something, so what do you want to do?

Spoiler: Author Notes and stuff

Hullo, here are some author notes and stuff. If you didn't understand the intro above, you guys'll play multiple people simultaneously (-chromix- and the unnamed fella so far). Just vote like this to suggest a course of action to be taken:​

You wiggle around and try to reach a wall, instead of a wall you are greeted with some kind of ledge. It feels rather steep.

Nothing happens.​

=> "Touch everything"

You wiggle around your area to get your bearings. Your feet and hands are tied up with a rope while your arms and torso are tied up with a metal cord. You're in an area with what feels like three concrete walls, no apparent doors, and the only exit you can make out is the ledge. There's a spiked ball or something in the corner of the room and what feels like a box of matches on the opposite corner.

To your surprise, it works! You recall you had to do something about finding a certain project file in the console and starting it. You forgot specifically which one, but you're sure you'll recognize it once you see its info.​

=> "Wiggle to the spiked ball, attempt to cut self loose."

You cut your hands and feet free using the spiked ball, then you pull off the metal cord that you were wrapped around with. You're no longer bound.

You enter cd, then dir in that order. The following pop up.​

=> "Take off the blindfold, pick up the box of matches thingie and pick up the spike ball either carefully or by wrapping the metal cord around it to carry it around safely."

You have never had a blindfold. The only things that were on you were damaged clothes, and the bindings (which you've removed).

You pick up the box, after carefully examining it by touch, you can confirm that it is indeed a matchbox containing 20 matches.

You attempt to carefully pick up the spike ball, but all areas of it were sharp and jagged so you weren't able to lift it from the ground. You have scratched your hands in the process. You wrap the metal cord around it, but as soon as you pull up the cord, you hear clattering and can feel the cord immediately slacken. The sharp ball has broken.

=> "Light a match and throw it down the ledge"

You carefully get a match from the box and light it. You hear its crackling and feel its immediate warmth. You carefully get to the ledge and toss it down. A split second later you hear it clap against the floor. Its warmth is still nearby. The ledge may not be that deep after all.

You enter it in, the results pop up.​

=> "Feel around the ledge area"

With your hands free you feel around the ledge area better, you slid your hand where you felt the steepness and continued for a few seconds until your fingertips hit something, you feel it a little more and can deduce that this ledge is actually a step, concrete like the rest of the surroundings you have felt. You don't know if this is the only one though or if there are more.

You can tell the lit match extinguished since you felt its warmth no more. At least you have 19 left.

=> "Feel around the innards of the spikey ball"

You don't know about any innards, but with the ball assumed to be broken you bet you can examine what was holding the ball together. You go back to where you heard it clatter and try to find it until you touched something rubbery. It feels like clay. Some bits of sharp objects are still attached to it.

The following pop up.​

=> "Head down the stairs"

You carefully get to the edge of the step and slowly slide your foot down on it, very slowly and very carefully you take one step after the other until you've reached the bottom of the stairs, which wasn't really that long. You're somewhere new now, but at least you can always go back up the stairs.

=> "Walk around the wall and see if there's anything interesting."

You weren't specific about which wall, so from your current perspective (if you could see that is) you stick your right hand out and reach towards the right wall. You move your hands around it to examine it. Nothing special, still a concrete wall.
