The numerous possible locations and goals of the beast flash through your mind, and you move urgently as you realize the danger Mami is in...this creature attacked her apartment. She could have been the primary target. You grip Sayaka's arm, grinding time to a stop with a twist of your shield, "Follow me. Mami's defenseless."
"Are you sure? It didn't seem to care, earlier...what about Kyouko and Nanoha?"
You begin sprinting, Sayaka reluctantly following to keep herself in time stop, "They can fight back, if I'm wrong...Mami can't."
She seems to accept that, or perhaps she just gives up on convincing you. You don't really care which, with fear thrumming through you as it is now.
It's not a long journey, but it feels like one as you scramble to plot contingencies for all the possible disasters you may be about to face. After that seeming eternity, euphoric relief envelops you as your gaze falls on Mami's unconcious, but otherwise unharmed form. You heft her in your arms, Sayaka keeping a hand on your shoulder as you move your one-time Senpai into a back alley...the fog may be a danger, here, but it's a far more defensible position.
Sayaka looks around uneasily, presumably growing nervous due to the respite, and you quickly preempt any panic with a snapped order, "Stay here. Guard her. I'm going to move to the rooftop...a little early warning will be good."
Steel returns to her gaze as she nods, taking a defensive stance over Mami. You release Time Stop, leaping to the rooftop in a smooth motion moments later. Rifle at the ready, you wait for the beast to strike...
---
[You are temporarily in control of Kyouko.]
"SHIT!"
You feel your ribs shatter as the monstrosity backhands you into a wall with appalling ease. There's a meter-wide hole in his chest where you ran him through...and he's standing up. Worse, it's closing.
'What the fuck are you...? Not a Witch. Not a familiar. DEFINITELY not a Puella Magi...'
You leap back to your feet, ignoring the pain in your chest as you move back into melee range.
Light glints in the corner of your eye, and blood sprays as blades pierce your raiment and deep into your flesh...you get a glimpse of a lupine grin before you find yourself tumbling away. You leap to your feet with practiced skill, your spear rising to block...but too late. Claws cut into you again, but you're not going to take it so easily this time. A spear burst into existence, extending into it's serpentine form as it twines around and binds your limb to your enemy's, the spear in your free arm glows crimson as you enchant it before thrusting it towards your inhuman adversary's eye. It tries to struggle, but fails to gain leverage as you pierce deep into it's skull. Blood sprays from it, scorching your flesh as the beast breaths its last...and thrusts its claws deeper.
Your bound arm goes limp...something important was just severed. You dismiss the binding spear, stumbling back as you try to force your limp appendage back into compliance. Blood pours from your wound-riddled body in such quantities that you find yourself thankful for your crystalline residence...you wouldn't be moving, if your body had any say in it.
A scream interrupts your efforts at recovery.
'Shit...cosplayer's in trouble. Gotta' get moving...'
You move forward, first with lurching steps, then with heavy strides, then with an inhuman grace that still frightens you slightly. You can feel fury building in you as more shrieks reach your ears...and nothing else, as pain dies an ignoble death.
The grey-skinned titan grasps Nanoha in a single massive hand, grasp tightening mercilessly...yet another of her shields shatter, and again her agony erupts from a tortured throat.
Grant Supernatural Ability: Allow an object to do something that it normally can't. The stronger the relationship between the object and the effect, the lower the Cost and Difficulty will be.
Homing Spear (Cost: 3 EE/spear)
Remote Manipulation (Cost: 5 EE/,inute)
Cannot be used to control complex systems, such as vehicles.
Conjure Giant Spear (Durability = 500. Increased Damage from attacks. Doubles Damage and Power of Magic Lance when used as a focus. Cost: 100 EE/spear.)

Weeeeell, this is going as well as expected, that is to say, not at all.
... not quite sure what to do, I must confess. Kyoko already injured Berserker, meaning she triggered his invincibility clause, I believe. Plus, her Grief is already rather high, so, not great.

Herc doesn't get invincibility, actually, he just gets OMGWTF levels of DR.
Which may be why something strong enough can take multiple lives, although that's conjecture.
I thought he had that annoying habit of becoming immune to whatever managed to kill him, though really strong attacks and weapons could take several lives at once?

Word of God confirmed that it's no so much that he becomes invincible, but he gains enough resistance against what killed him that, when one takes into account what is already needed to kill him, he becomes effectively immune. Stuff like Caliburn manage to get around it by being so hilariously overkill that the damage resistance isn't enough.

it's not flat immunity, it's Damage Reduction, in the D&D sense. It's just really fucking high so the difference is mostly academic.
My theory, building from that, is that weapons that take multiple lives are the ones strong enough that the spillover through the DR can kill him again, boosting his DR again, repeat until DR>damage dealt.
so considering everything we need to use a grief seed charge, however we don't have time to do so unless if we believe that Nanoha will live long enough for us to do so.
Grief: 713/1000
We have limit of 200 more grief before a recharge must be used.

Yes but strong enough attacks have to actually do enough damage to kill him more then once aka just putting a hole were his heart is will only kill him once unless someone uses bullshit plot power we lack that sadly.
Anyway I would go with using a chain spear and trying to wrap it around his neck in order to get him off of Nanoha.

You mean Power of plot after all a energy blast that only goes though the heart once no matter how powerful shouldn't take multiple life's cause you know it kinda didnt hit him enough for it to truly kill him alot, far more likely that Archer killed him 12 times already and Shiro and Saber just killed him once.

No, there was actual Word of God saying it's Damage Reduction. Granted, it's blatantly Nasu covering his ass to explain why Caliburn worked to kill him, doesn't come up in the original F/SN and is obscure enough that Higure might not have heard about it and still be going with invincibility, but I'm just echoing Word of God here to explain LDJ's statement.
There is no way you can claim that this....
did more damage then this....
Music and happy teamwork does not mean I cant and wont call bull-crap when I see it.
In the fate verse that is a almost useless thing to claim just saying.

Well actually...yes. Kanshou and Byakuya are fucking beautiful but Caliburn is a different kind of bullshit, just ranking wise Caliburn is better than even the overedge versions of KyB.
Its all about conceptual weight, Herc can shrug off anything below a certain threshold. Caliburn is B and conditionally A+ while KyB are mere C. Archer had to break them to be able to shave off the lives of Berserker.
Its actually impressive since he didnt had much to work with and its thanks to his flexibility that he was able to shave off all those lives without being able to use something truly broken.
