Redemption Blues: Red Dead Self-Insert

Picture for a moment, that a nineteen year old youth's mind was suddenly placed into the lead character of his favorite game of all time, Red Dead Redemption. Let's also say that this youth is me, who's played the ever living fuck out of that game. If you don't know the game and don't want spoilers, now's the cue to leave. If you don't care about it, then stay. This isn't exactly going to stay super true to canon, nor to John's character, as it's not John anymore.

It's me.

Now, I said we're placing my mind into John's body, which means, I have all the skills and abilities that John has. I also have all his memories. Except I know the land, I know the story. And I know how to break it all, and maybe change the story. That part however, is up to you.

Saying as I'm a rookie on this site, and this is the first ever self-insert quest I've ever run, in the entire nineteen years I have existed, bear with me.

I plan to start this by this time next week, that, or once ten people have shown interest.

Voting will be given two days before it's closed for the next post.

We'll start the way the game does, off the ferry into Blackwater.

My own patience is growing thin. I'm likely going to get this going within the next day our so. Depending on work and such. Should be up by Friday.
