    You send your fanciest rat. One with an elaborate silk hat and a toy soldier's sword hanging at the side. The prince of rats bows before the urchin as if she's a queen. Which, in a way...

    In any case, she's delighted. She claps her hands and coos over the smartly dressed rodent just like a real little girl. But it turns out she has her reasons. This. This is what she wants. The rat steps back and loudly protests that it has a master and isn't looking for another. She shakes her head. She's not looking to command rats. She wants to be one when she pleases. Sometimes a girl, sometimes a rat, sometimes a halfway creature like this adorable little thing.

    You remember. Yes, there's a thing you can do to make that easier for her. She could force it through without your consent, but it would take a lot more energy. The question is, why should you? A rat-faced goddess running around just means potential problems for you.

    When the rat asks the question on your behalf, she makes the obvious response. She's willing to offer an exchange. Half of the raw power she'd have to use if you denied her, an opportunity to change yourself with one of her domains as a mold (with a discount similar to the one she's getting), or a marker for any reasonable favor to be called in at any time.

    Okay boys, I don't actually know what we want out of this, and I'm thinking if naught else we should take the deal.
    IDK if we want the Power, the Change or the Deal, and I'm thinking the Power only because it seems the most 'generic' and thus easy to build off of.
     
    Can we discuss forming a pantheon or more permanent relationship with her based on our shared Rat themes? My understanding is that we are going to have to form or join a pantheon at some point and now seems like a great opportunity to get started.
     
    So, a few thoughts:
    She SEEMS to be something of a God based upon...I think defiance of greater power, a Goddess of the underdog, and she wants our Rat-shifting, I imagine, to be MORE of an underdog. Which is nice, it can certainly work. The trick, is that if she takes the form of a Rat, and we COMMAND Rats...That doesn't end well for her, at first glance. But she's all about 'avoiding da law' so she could still cause trouble.
    As for what she does and how we work? I think we could become a God of deals, of secrets, of memories lost...Almost arguably something akin to a non-evil 'deal with the devil' as our theme, and perhaps a 'head of our pantheon' with the idea that we made a deal with everyone we gathered under us.
    That said...We might want to consider someday taking our secret statue and learning how to animate it or maybe picking up Strong Avatar.

    Not keen on setting uo a pantheon yet, and it's not a remotely fair deal anyway. Plus she has a habit of turning up her nose at authority anyway, trying to make her an underling is not going to work out.
     
    I don't think she'll accept being subordinate to us in exchange for a fancy rat and I think she'd rather steal it than submit to us. A better way to get them in a pantheon would be to use of the favor be to do a cooperative miracle or act together. This way people will start to connect us together and should increase the amount of faith we both receive. That increase in faith would be a good starting point build a pantheon off.

    For example we could have our rats be seen giving a secret for one of her thefts and in return she would give them someone' lost treasure which they would return.

    It can go two ways. Either we start competing for our respective domains now once they become closer, or people will start associating us.

    This could go well, so long as we don't stray too far into each others domains a commonality could help us work better together.
