Re:Birth, A MMO Story

[x] A. De Na, the tortoise fog warrior who tried to assault an npc, and got a few hours in jail. He's willing to fight, and having a better outlet for his anger might be good.

[x] C. Dark-Blood, the Dragon Necromancer who is just a kid. He may be just a kid, but having a ghost summon would mean not needing to have anyone get stabbed who could feel pain.

[x] E. Ichi-San, the Tiger Claw who got mad and stormed off to go hunt. He'd already died once, but he seemed fired up to go fight some more... but he was kinda a jerk who made his girlfriend cry.

[x]
F. Ichi-Chan, the Armory Priest who really doesn't want to go fight. Maybe convincing her to face her fears is for the best? At the very least, she could stand back and provide more buffs for you and Fluffy to use.

[x] J. Go to the Guardhouse you were invited to, and see what the 'advice' the guards were offering meant.

I think these are the players that most need our help. The blessed vessels can anchor a different party. Without us A and E are almost certain to get themselves into trouble and break all their gear, while F stays curled up in a ball until she runs out of food.

We can shuffle parties later. For now I want to maximize the number of functional players in town and give them reason to join our guild/cult.

[x] B. Satoshi-San and Seto, the other pair who were trying to cheer people up in town. They both seem to be Blessed Vessels, since they were dragons who clearly were wearing Katana.

I was trying to do approval votes but realised I would be okay with any/all of them. The only thing I would say is if we get one of Ichi-san and Ichi-chan we should aim for both. It would be not very "us" to split them up for our own selfish goals.

My original ideas for the beastkin starting zone was having it be an instanced part of rhe capital (beastkin district, you can't leave until you Prove Yourself). But that seemed a little boring and also too much like being stuck in the Embrace.

And then I watched an episode of a show and it talked about a hotspring town only old people really lived in... and I said 'oh God, I'm gonna send then to the retirement home for elder demigods' .

I actually weighed them against each other for awhile. But eventually 'old folks home: the village' won out. So now you get to be the young grandkids sent to do their grandparents lawn.

You could have perhaps had a special beastkin only dungeon under the district, for proving purposes. But hey, we can be a retired demigod.

You're more the kid sent to mow their lawn and clean their gutters. Except mowing their lawn involves fighting monsters and solving why stuff is going missing and why supply deliveries aren't on time.

I hope we will manage to go down the gathering followers and turn them into a proper army route.

The power of simps will beat out those brooding solo edgelords.

I wouldn't mind picking up any of them, but these three are the ones I feel we should grab the most, especially Ichi-Chan

Basically anyone but the tortoise.

[x] I. Try to investigate the town as a group, and see if there are any more specific quests to pursue for village.

I like dangerkitty's warning of other power blocs. Plus I think they'd be amenable to training with the guards first which i think is a must.

Hita would never abandon a kid I feel like.

She can just buff us and slowly get used to her new reality.

[x] E. Ichi-San, the Tiger Claw who got mad and stormed off to go hunt. He'd already died once, but he seemed fired up to go fight some more... but he was kinda a jerk who made his girlfriend cry.

He made his gf cry, sure, but he's also trying to do something whilst she's sandbagging him. It's not a mature/good reaction, but an understandable one. I hope that inviting them both avoids some trouble

Give me my blessed vesselssssss

[x] K. Go outside the village to explore - fighting isn't the goal, getting the lay of the land is.

Also it's questing time :V

Tutorial quest usually has an outsized risk/reward ratio, though it isn't chasing those server achievements.

Good chance they introduce us to their blacksmith for basic repairs, or let us eat at the barracks. May even give us basic equipment sets to fill in starting holes.

I have the day off and am itching to write, so I'll be closing the current vote in 35 minutes. Any last second voters now is your chance.

The first thing we need is a good tank, but the second is DPS that we can stack support on. Windrunner is a high-DPS class that's a dodge-tank if the player is good (they probably won't be, but maybe they'll git gud).
