Chapter 1.1
Chapter 1

The land was nothing but soot and ash with the bodies of men and the carcasses of metal beasts, all baring the scares from the eternal hunger of the crimson flame. Amongst the bones of metal and flesh there stood a single warrior enveloped with dirt and grime to the point that he seemed to be a statue amongst the ruble. Slowly, he looked about, observing the death and destruction that was around him as if it wasn't there. Slowly he heard a rumble that started off as a whisper but as time crawled on by the whisper turned into a thunderous roar that made the graveyard's bones shake and tremble as it grew ever nearer. The tired, bruised, and battered warrior stumbled to look where the deafening noise was coming from. Only to look upon a beast, nay, a creature that was the embodiment of horror itself.

Its body seemed to faze in and out of reality as if its true self was on another plain of existence. All the while heavy black smog rolled off it, as if to hide it from any and all light. Branches of flesh and slime carry it ever onward grasping at anything in reach. Its mouth nothing but a tunnel of thousands upon thousands of sword-like teeth all rotating at impossible speeds. With what seems to be the warriors last strength he starts to move towards the monster. With unsteady legs he stumbles forward but with every trip he goes just that bit faster and is soon sprinting as if the wild hunt themselves are after him.

Grabbing a spear as he past it he shouted his defiance to the entity as it lumbered forward its body glowing an unearthly purple. Like a man possessed he climbed a giant rib in order to confront the titan. Just as he made it to the very tip a shadow loomed over, for the titan had arrived with its maw of teeth coming towards him. With a final leap the warrior leapt towards the beast with the spear held over head ready to dig into the flesh of the monster. And with the jaws closing around the spear that was thrown to….

*SLAP*

His eyes snap open and slowly look towards what has slapped him. Sitting on his chest is a black and red furred feline monkey, with its right paw raised over its head and twitching in anticipation. Eyes widening in realization of what is about to happen, "Don't you da"

*SLAP*

His head snaps to the left, and after a slow blink he sits up. "Alright Ruby I'm up, I'm up."

With Ruby now off him he gets up and after taking a quick shower he begins the short and simple process of getting into his bio-suit. A mechanical arm lowers down from the ceiling with the end stopping a centimeter from the center of his back. From the end oozes out a black liquid that quickly spreads out over his body stopping just at his jaw line. With that out of the way he walks up to the operator chair.

Setting info
The planet that the setting takes place on is quite similar to our own with the one addition of having an extra element(have not thought of a name yet). this element takes the form of a crystal that has a deep purple color(RGB 102, 10,163). This crystal has the unique property of being highly energy dense to the point where entire fields and even big enough spires can cause ion storms. Of course it the when I say crystal I am describing what it look and feels like for it grows and prorogate not as a mineral underground but instead more as a plant above ground.

The current civilizations of the planet technologies are more bio oriented than our own. An example of this can be seen in their biosuits. This suits take the form of a black liquid that can quite easily mold itself to the users body. Considering how skintight it is viewed as part of the body so if you are only seen in the biosuit out in public be prepared to be called a nudist/pervert. The biosuit functions as a way to keep the person healthy and in the case of an emergency to keep the person as together as possible for medical personnel to arrive. It does have a second function which is to allow the user to control/interact with some technologies such as the operator chair and the bioframes(name may change).

The bioframe comes in three different types: the civilian model, the construction model, and the military model. The frames base look is that of a bipedal digitigrade bio-construct that is large enough for a person to wear.
--The civilian model is as the name implies is made for the general population. It is quite light and usually can lasts about 50 years before repairs are needed assuming it is not used for what the construction model or the military model are made for. One thing that it has that the others do not is that it can be modified to the users content if they have the know how. What that means is that if you want it to look a different color or to have it grow fathers/fur than it is possible to modify it so.
--The construction model is used in areas like construction or that may be hazardous to human life such as the crystal field/spires. This model is larger than the civilian model and look like humanoid crocodile(link shows reference image). Do to their use in such dangerous areas they are made to not last as long but insure the user is safe from harm with repairs recommended to be done after every job but can go up to 10 years without it however this is not recommended.
--The military model can be describe as the fusion of metal and biology. Where the first two models could be classified as exosuits or even as power armor, the military model can only be classified as a type of vehicle do to its size and its armaments/armor. These models are made for different functions such as troop transport, mobile medical base to treat wounded, to being a specialist tank. Note: do to the cost and the training needed to use the chances of a civilian owning one are very small.
