Mingo
Son of a Hazmot
I want my next fic to center around the Path to Victory like the Contessa has in Worm, but limited to a single aspect/area/specialty to keep it from being completely OP. This is probably inspired by that fic where Taylor mistakenly believes her PtV power is confined to being only food-related, I forget the name. But basically, I generate three random fandoms and choose one, three random characters for each fandom I choose and I pick one of those, and finally, I generate three random specialties for said character and pick one.
Here's info pulled from Superpower Wiki.
OK, here goes nothing! Using a random number generator and a list of fandoms (and rerolling when I get a fandom I'm not familiar with) I got: Harry Potter (holy shit, on the first roll too), Elder Scrolls, and That 70s Show.
Does anyone want to help me pick?
How about I roll for characters for each of the three first, then the three random specialization options, and then if you're reading this, comment with the character/specialization you'd most prefer in the fic (I haven't decided if it will be an SI or not). Here goes!
From Harry Potter:
Madam Malkin (lol, the dressmaker)
Flora Carrow (Slytherin in Harry's year)
Lev Zograf (Bulgarian Quidditch player)
For Elder Scrolls:
Ufberth War-Bear (Whiterun merchant)
Rayya (Redguard Housecarl)
Olfina Greymane (Spunky Whiterun noble)
(All three were from Skyrim, weird)
From That 70s Show:
Edna Hyde (Hyde's Mom and lunchlady? LOL)
Laurie Forman (Eric's evil sister)
Jackie Burkhart (self absorbed main character)
Can't believe I pulled both TEP and Harry Potter! That said, I might prefer writing in a more modern setting, so 70s Show isn't down for the count either.
And lastly, the specialties.
Healthcare
Comedy
Space
I'm not sure if that last one counts, but it could be fun to have a PtV specialized to what? getting mankind into Space?
I'm already seeing some options here. Edna the lunch lady one day inventing a new rocket engine? Ufberth doing stand-up at the Bannered Mare? A Slytherin becoming the world's greatest healer?
Any combos you think is interesting? Any questions?

The ability to see the series of steps required to achieve what's possible in one's desired outcome and follow them perfectly. Variation of Answer Intuition. Technique of Victory Manipulation.
The user is capable of perceiving the manual series of steps that need to be taken in order to achieve what's possible in their desired outcome, as well as being able to perfectly follow this series of steps without fault. The nature of this power ensures that if the path to victory is interfered with or blocked, the ability automatically adapts to the interference or block and supplies the user with a new series of steps that ensures their victory. However individuals capable of directly resisting the path to victory or by proxy cannot be affected directly in the sequence of steps. The user can, however, make a hypothetical model based on the resistance, and use that model in a hypothetical scenario to solve the problem. Once its path has been activated it may be able to involuntarily deactivate the path until the user's desired path has been reached.
The users of this power may lose once or multiple times on their path to victory, although they can work around this by factoring in avoiding any losses when determining their path to victory.
The users power supplies them with whatever steps they need to take at the task they visualize; whether that be leading, governing, planning, medical, cooking, gaming, business, combat, warfare, sports, communicating, psychological manipulation, building, inventing, etc., or even flat-out environment control through the use of super-powered pawns.
- If a task is [COLOR=var(--theme-link-color)]absolutely impossible

- https://powerlisting.fandom.com/wiki/Universal_Irreversibility, no matter what plan or path one could use, it is still impossible. For example, a user of this power cannot simply make objects appear out of thin air or warp reality, unless they have the necessary resources or are born with those abilities.
