1. Heracles Quest
You are Nasuverse Heracles/ Hercules, and you wake up to find yourself in the Percy Jackson Universe, six months before the Titan War. Except you're not alone! The players get to vote on six companions, all of which are Heroic Spirits. But because I'm going to be vague as fuck during the vote, it's possible to end up with Medusa and Perseus as your companions, which will never end well. Amongst other combinations.
Additionally, your Noble Phantasms are gone, and your stats nerfed. But do not worry, you can get those back by gathering enough Prana. You start the game with a bunch of Prana, which can be used to either start with your Noble Phantasms/Stats, or get other special perks that you can only get during Character Gen. Such as vague memories of a white-haired girl who Heracles failed to protect during a Grail War, leading to unlocking Magecraft.
2. Frampt Quest/Kaathe Quest
Dual-quests. One quest has the players in control of Dark Soul's Primordial Serpent Frampt, and the player must manipulate things to ensure that the First Flame keeps burning. The other has the players control the Primordial Serpent Kaathe, who must ensure that the Age of Fire ends.
Both Serpernts get three major actions a turn, which they can use to, for example, guide a character to a certain location. Both Serpents also get unique abilities that they can use for major actions- Frampt can claim any item in the possession of a Friendly or Neutral NPC, and that item will end up in his possession, without said NPC being aware. Meanwhile, Kaathe can corrupt anything that has been exposed to the Abyss, turning it into a minion.
3. Unnamed Kill La Kill Quest
Nudist Beach discovers that there are several special clumps of Life Fibers spread across the planet, each growing in power. These clumps are basically mini-versions of the Original Life Fiber, and are rapidly growing in power. Too occupied with the Original Life Fiber in Japan, Nudist Beach has the idea of recruiting children/teenagers from these area's and getting them to stop them.
So several teenagers in the areas with the mini-OLF get the equipment they need. Meanwhile, these mini-OLF all have protectors, who are doing many different things, which is how location becomes relevant- Voting to have this Quest in, say, America, gives you someone who is mass-producing COVERS to capture people and feed them to the mini-OLF to accelerate it's growth, while doing it in Australia gives you someone who is turning Animals into Life Fiber Hybrids. England gives you a mind-controller who targets his enemies families, while Canada gives you someone who is a political figure, who can and will order the Military after the player.
There are four different Upgrade paths, which can be used to make the Protagonist better in fights. They are:
- Skill. Nothing but Human Strength, speed and stamina, with the dial set to 'Kill La Kill. An example of this would be Satsuki, while not wearing Junketsu. This is upgraded through training.
- Equipment. The Protagonist's ability to use Nudist Beach equipment effectively. An example of this would be Tsumugu. This is levelled via earning the trust of Nudist Beach, or by developing some more tech from what you've been given (Which is a Character Gen choice).
- Life Fibers. The most varied of the Upgrade paths, and the strongest, but by far the most dangerous. Since Nudist Beach doesn't have enough resources to send any Life Fibers to the Protagonists, the only ways the players can get this are all ridiculous, and upgrading it is moreso. Additionally, going into this choice is a good way to get your Sanity stat down quickly. An example of this would be Ragyo.
- Toonforce. The strangest, and most situational, of Upgrade paths. Is only available in Character Gen, and I can GM Fiat it away whenever I feel like it- This won't be very often, but Toonforcing into the Big Bad's lair, dropping an anvil on their head and then blowing up the moon with Ragyo on it would be possible with Toonforce is GM Fiat wasn't there. An example of Toonforce is Mako.
