Putting the Craft in Warcraft

[x] Meet with Leon.
-[x] Ignore the Prank and adviseLeon that soldiering is also about working with people. That and you're not so much of an ass that you'll try to beat Leon through something like that.
-[X] tell him where he can find us if anything happens
--[X] Give him a light attune Steel Chainmail and try to have Joyce Teach him Light/healling magic. He may be dumb as a rock but if it will keep him a alive
-[X] Send an open offer to the Army and teh Priesthood that we are available to teach people on Light attunement though that should be complimented with actually knowing light magic to make full use of it
-[X] Learn Arcane Magic. More specifically that moving without crossing two places spell. Running away has never seem better

We don't really have the money. And it'd be useless? if we don't know how to fight the orcs off somehow anyway. Could just knock us about the head and pick us up like a sack or something.

Maybe Wayland needs to start making some requests for materials, setting up for whatever he's doing next? After this rest period is over, he's presumably going back to experimenting, prob need to have an idea of what the next experiment is going to be. Maybe look into countering Fel energies somehow, or get curious about enchantments from the other types of magic? Presumably he's at least heard rumors, right?
Edit: ninjaed, new posts came up when I posted mine. If Wayland can get even one prototype Fel resistant piece of equipment made, and prove that it can be duplicated, that'll definitely prove that he's not a one-hit wonder, and secure his job for sure, possibly turn the war effort completely if it's pushed hard enough.

[x] Train how to fight
[x] Continue working on repairs. Step up is you have too much free time.
[X]Do Prank
[x] Repair Guard Equipment.
[x] Drink to relax
- [x] Continue meeting Joyce
- [x] Continue meeting Leon

[X]Forge Better Tools for blacksmithing.
-[X]Do a bit more than the bare minimum for Repairs (10 segments a week)
-[X]Talk to our boss about Gold Attunement.
-[X]Talk to our priest friend about the light.
-[X]Forge something to help Leon survive if we have the time.
-Forged Blue Steel Blacksmithing Hammer of Strength, and Agility
Time = 1+2+13+3+3-2 = 20
Time per Month 4*30 = 120 - 30 (Sleep) -40 (Work) - 20 (Hammer) = 30 left of free time.
Standard Upkeep 3 GP per month
Cost of hammer 4+9*.8 (Discount) =10.4
13.4 GP spent out of 17.4
You have 4 GP left

New Hammer gives the following: - 1 Segment off all blacksmithing time to a minimum of 1 (For all but Thorium). +25 Blacksmithing Skill
40 segments of repair work, forging a blue blacksmith hammer and enchanting it twice but we don't gain any smithing or enchanting skill?

I don't suppose we could make a quick-and-dirty Fell resistance helmet for ourselves, or something?
we don't have fell resistance.

I mean to put it in perspective if Fell resistance (and anything similar) is Fire Resistance, what we did is a Water Armor. Different things but what we did SHOULD cancel magic out.

So, anyone think we should invest some segments in trying to come up with a healing/regen enchantment now that we have a heal spell to try and base it on? Even if it's not that great in a straight fight, strategically the ability to pass out amulets of healing to injured soldiers while healers take a look at the worst cases could be pretty useful.

Thats not a thing we can do. Steel explodes remember.

Word of gm is that only truesilver and gold hold light attunement beyond mithril which is attuned to elunes.

Damn, we don't have enough money to guarantee sufficient skill gain. We should try and ask our superior, if she can't get us some materials. Or perhaps do some commissions. Alternatively, Leon should have made a small fortune, if he blazed through elite training like that. We could ask him to lend us some money, and make a some platemail or a shield for him.

I'm pretty sure repairing the guards equipment should get us some skill gain.

I'm not so sure on it, and I'd rather not bet on it. They said it's old equipment, so it's made out of steel at best, which isn't something that will gain us much skill, if any at all.

@Lost Star Do we have to plan out the entire month, or can we have the event with Leon first? I'd be nice to know if he'd be willing to commission another piece of equipment from us.

I think our best bet on skill gain is to research something. Pushing our limits through invention.
It was mentioned that the runes on the Three Point Forge was a little rough. Or we could try to speed up the Light Atunement enchantment.
We gained a whole bunch of skill when we researched and created the Three Point Forge.

... Say, what if we were to work on refining siege weapons? Well, anti-siege weaponry and defenses, the kind of stuff you'd have and be using in a keep / castle when you're under siege? Looking online right now for some kind anti-siegecraft weaponry,

That's kinda not under our purview. At least from what I know of blacksmithing.

I'm not actually sure what that'd be classified as actually.

Siege Engineers would handle that. A Blacksmith Enchanter would not even be in the same room as the discussions regarding siege and anti-siege weaponry.

We need engineering.

And/or alchemy.

Prefarably both with more exotic enchants.

Making and repairing anything less than enchanted mithril is likely not going to do much, if anything, for our skill growth at this point.

We are currently at the upper end of Expert rank/lower end of Artisan rank, in both Enchanting and Blacksmithing. That means that we are now a member of the ranks of the absolute best practitioners in those fields in the entire kingdom of Azeroth. We're peers with skilled dwarven smiths (though not with the masters that have centuries of experience...yet). The lesser metals (stone metals) provide no meaningful challenge for us to work. Mithril, Thorium, and Truesilver are not rarities for us to work on, they're primary ingredients to any projects we work on.
