Blood, the life source of everything that walks this shattered world. Many seek to unravel its secrets, the Colleges of Remnant being the largest institutions pursuing the secrets. But each of these institutions hide a dark secret, hidden deep within their inner sanctums. Secrets that they work diligently to keep hidden, even resorting to silencing parties who discover them. Your pathetic founders had once believed these secrets to be their salvation, yet you see the truth behind it all.
It was nothing more than a deal with the devil, one that cost everyone on this world all the people they hold dear.
The College of Beacon, a prestigious and respectable academy, hides their communions with the Great Ones. Their headmaster keeping the secrets of the cosmos to himself and his personal council, fearing what would happen if the secrets got out to the public. He fears it, yet looks upon it with curiosity.
What an ignorant fool he is, playing God with things he does not know.
The College of Haven, the cowardly traitors hiding in the shadows. They have forsaken their own companions, having made allies with those of the Grimblood Nobility. Despicable, giving the secrets of Blood Ministration to them. But their Headmaster deeply regrets this mistake, fearing what would happen if he stepped out of line with the Grimblood Matriarch.
A damned coward if there ever was one, hiding his mistakes behind his Hunters.
Now we see the College of Atlas, the Hunters who've created graceful yet effective weapons to hunt the beasts. They hide their newest weapon, an artificial human created to slay beasts in the stead of real Hunters. But in order for it to succeed, they defiled the tomb of the Winter Maiden. Whose blood was used to create their newest puppet, a perversion of the sacred blood and the greatest insult to the Seasonal Maidens one could achieve.
They will get their due soon enough, just you wait...
And we finally reach the College of Shade, hidden beneath the city is a connected maze of dungeons. Beasts and lost adventurers prowl the darkened tombs, which many other Tomb Prospectors must be wary of. Yet they never share the boons they take from the Dungeons, preferring to research and hide what they've learned.
What pitable fools they all are, each of them playing with forces they never understood in the first place.
But you will be much worse, you will rip and tear through the animalistic beasts with weapons of your creation. Are you ready to walk into the night, weapons in both hands and a fire in your heart? Will you become one of the hunted, or will you rise up as one of the Hunters? It is your choice, but which one will you pick? As much as I enjoy this conversation of ours, I must bid you farewell. [] History: The Young man from Atlas was born to a single mother in a low rent town house due to having gotten a bad reputation due to both being a faunus and an illegitimate child born out of wedlock only ever knowing his father from a Signet ring sent to his mother when he was two and a small yet sizable amount of money from an anonymous source. He has faced an increase in discrimination due to the white fang but is choosing to not only blame current policy but the fang under Sienna Khan for giving such policy makers the justification to discriminate against them. As the only Faunus in his school he was bullied relentlessly save for one human friend who happened to have a brother in the Atlas millitary as an aide for winter schnee and general Ironwood. His only Friend and one who made him wish to be a hunter to try and stop the grimm and curb the white fang as he saw just how bad the Anti-faunus sentiment got as a result of their terrorist actions and a year later at his 12th birthday a white fang member murdered his friend azul in cold blood for being a human and in trying to stop him was scared down the face by the murderers claws and threw himself into training and getting into fights to try and bring people like that to justice for murdering a human who was able to look past race and economy to try and bridge the gap die from the so called defenders of eqaulity and champions of the faunus. His mother knowing what her son was aiming to become managed to scrape some funds and send him to signal as well as giving him weapons supposedly from her Grandfather(actually his Fathers) and sent him to signal where he became sullen and withdrawn save for a friend he made while in his second year named Ruby Rose whose perky demeanor reminded him so much of his long dead friend and could not help but warm up to her. Through her he met the overbeaing, and in his opinion a bit too vain, sister Yang Xiao Long whom he never got along with but tolerated for the sake of his friendship with Ruby. Now having helped foil Roman a dangerous thief he was given leave to wander farther and wider trying to expand his guilds fame as it was mostly based in Patch and downtown Vale the qauint city being both beautiful in its advancement compared to the outlands and frontier towns and a dangerous in its far more insidous threats, He works to uncover the nature of who his father was by trying to bring fame to his name as well as doing so that his race would be only minor to the good name he would bring through his actions so that he might be claimed by his birth father (unknown to him his father is waiting for that day to come, as well as having written in his will should he die before then of the truth). He dreams of a better world wher the beast are driven back to the deathlands of their origin and humanity and faunus free to live as one people but knows such a thing is lifertimes away and seeks simply to see how far he might help it forward.
Personality: He is a complex individual whose drive for knowledge on the origins of beasthood drive many of his mission choices often seeking out the mad scientist lot so he might pilfer their knowledge in hopes they have made strides in that question, also sees those who prey on others are worth only how much time it takes to cleave them apart and set the bodies on fire. His idea of helping is givng them the chance to become better and veiws those who do not attempt to better themselves as worthless husks of beings who should be used as meatshields so they stop dragging everyone down. He does however have a sense of kindness and is close to one Ruby Rose partly because she is so remniscient of his first real friend and as such anyone who tries to harm is subject to his wrath(provided Ruby is out of sight ) one such person had their arm broken in 12 spots, their ribs fractured and put into a coma and he keeps Ruby from knowing he does this . He veiws those who do not take responsibility for their actions as just short of intolerable. He loves a good fight but hates for those uninvolved to be dragged into it, as they did not choose to take part nor did they want it to happen and shows no real mercy to those who do.
He spends mostly every waking second outside what is necessary for the guild, Training, hanging out with Ruby ,or trying to track down some old and/or forbidden lore so that humanity might cure beasthood and focus their might on purging the Grimm from Remnant

Hes originally from atlas to make the schnee bastard plausible and aside from the oddball Ilia i dont think many lizards would be there as there cold blooded or sensitive to temperature
edit my rationale is that is that many of the faunus we see seem to share traits with their animal counterparts blake likes fish adam is aggresive and so on

im working on history and its slow going but im working and updating it as i think of it p.s the "grandfather weapons are actually from Jack(no i do not mean weisses father i mean her grandfather) who i imagine to be not as strong as he used to be when he was a hunter/frontiersman but still rather handsome and does care for his son but cannot publicly or even privately acknowledge it so he sends what he can to help.

You're character is apart of local Hunter's Guild, which is the equivalent of Huntsman Academies. Since you're in Vale, you're pretty familiar with some of the members of the Local guild and Atlas. Sometimes you're called upon by the College to deal with Beasts, other times you're just taking bounties from the Guild's Kill List.

More like Blood and barely understood Magics that allow them to preform great feats, this is a bit more 'brutish' than Aura. As Humanity and Faunus are at the 19th Century sort of thing like Bloodborne is. Semblances are turned into barely understood magic that most go mad trying to figure out, but its been well tested. Dust is used as well, but it's a bit harder to find due to beasts running rampant

Not bad. After I don't realy understand why he don't like Yang but why not. If there were someon that he don't like or with he has a rivaliy feeling I think that Weiis could be a more intresting choice.

he is a bit gruff but hes not a mean person he smarter then he looks but is aware how dangerous someone might view, "a smart animal" so he mostly keeps quiet he hates the white fang for giving racist pricks justification for their insults. He is quiet he keeps to himself but is willing to speak up if veryone is missing the obvious or is acting really fucking stupid he sees someone like Yang who is willing to start a deadly fight in a crowded club over a feeling as immensely stupid and intolerable for the ways their attitude can affect others. Hje has a strong sense of justice and is willing to act on it even if it might be disadvantageous to him, He sees actions as louder than words like when his first friend ,Im calling him Hansel Gold, did when he willingly ostracized himself to make friends with one who is both an animal and a bastard child. He beleives it is the responsibility of one generation to clean up their own mess so that the next generation can focus on making the world better and taking responsibility for ones own actions, which is one of the reasons he doesnt like yang. He is kind but veiws the word kindness as not only helping but ensuring they do not always need help, a bit like the proverb feed a man a fish feed him for a day teach a man to fish feed him for a lifetime. he is the kind who wants to be able to do both feed them the ,"fish" when they need it and teach them strength so that they can stand up for themselves.
edit One of his goals is to discover the true origin of the beasts so that could finally be turned back from humanities gates hes intrested in the mystery of magic dust and why the moon shattered but he sees the beasts as a more pressing and time consuming mystery as everyone feels the weight of the beasts advances on all the peoples of remnant

Okay. Honestly i don't like a lot this type of character, I prefer characters who are more calculators, ambitiousor who maintain a surface of calm but in reality they love fight and discover secrets on th emysteries of the world and magic, who have a wild side. And I think that this kind of things mix well with quests like bloodborn.
After if you like this type of chatracter why not. Like I said I don't have realy better ideas and I don't think have a sufficien tlevel of english to write a good story.

yeah we can flesh him out but i like a good person trying a shit world slightly less shitty and i said he had an intellect and he can enjoy the search for knowledge but he doesnt really have any need to actively seek it out JUST YET he loves a good mystery but he sees the origin of the beasts as a more important thing then puzzling out stuff like why the moon shattered

I like characters who wants make the world a less shitt, but characters who always make others and the world before themselves tend to annoy me. Or who have no other amabitions than to make the world better tend to bother me.
For example for our characters we can said that secretly he like fighting a lot, but he doesn't assume this, and one of the reasons like, why he doesn't like Yang is because she assumes this part of her personality.
An often I tend to not appreciate characters who are associals.

his last and only real friend got murdered in front of him so hes got some battlescars (emotional AND literal) and i figure moving out of that can be a good in game charecter arc. I like the secretly likes fighting but he also feels that he has to take responsibility for what he does whereas yang just sort of shrugs off the fact that she started a fight involving lethal weapons in a crowded club over a very minor thing is stupid and she needs to acknowledge and take responsibility for it especially since their were other people caught in that. He likes a good fight on occasion but he doesnt like innocent and/or uninvolved people being dragged in since they didnt ask for it

Ye s I know. The personality of your character if perfectly adapted to your story. It's just that I don't realy this this kinf of character. It's personal preference. Characters who are too kind or who don't have a dark side rarely seem intresting for me.

he hates the white fang and evryone who tries to defend them and will lose his cool and need to make a will save to prevent the punching out and or lecturing of anyone who tries. What else do you think might fight his general history plus we can alwaus pick up a few on the way through the quest
to clarify hell help you once and if you dont try to change it then your pathetic and deserve what you get

He wants to have a family he wants to find his father meet sienna Khan or whoever leads the white fang and beat them to a bloody pulp he likes the idea of being the person who figures out the origin if the beasts and putting his name in history and most importantly he also wants info on the one who murdered his best friend ( He got a good look but not enough for a policeman or constable to identify) and wants to kill the man brutally for what he did
