Also,
And in that bleak time when the Grogori first benighted the East, already damned by Drakumgi, Elgi, Gori, Ogri, and no end of other, viler things, their Witch of an Ancestor, known as Ehfeyos to the Grogori, to the Cathayans as Lingwen, to the Zonelgi as Draeddu, to the Wutelgi as Cadedri, conspired to further damn their soul with zhuf nonsense, claiming to "master" the fundamentally untrustworthy forces of magic when in truth only Runesmiths might...
This was me stealing the idea of a fictional excerpt from The Laurent and Skaven revolution quest and if I mention something in it it does not mean it is definitely going to happen or whatever.

Is this just the personal animosity of a single Runelord, or is this the feelings most Runelord or worse, wider dwarven society? Is it just the standard dwarven "magic is bad" or is it something more?

I'm going with Hysh personally. It's the Wind best suited to beating corruption and exorcising daemons, one we'll definitely need with Khorne gunning for us.

I'll choose Azyr. First because there's not many quest that uses lots of Azyr, and secondly because it's very polyvalent. Being able to both see the future and throw lightning at people is very useful.

Azyr isn't bad, but I'm very tempted to lean into our kitsune/kumiho/other fox people aesthetic and go Ulgu for illusions. That's also multi-purpose having transport, stealth, and some fairly scary direct combat uses.
